• AaronCroose (10/5): - The staff there are really friendly and helpful, they allowed us to leave our bags before check in and after checkout so we were able to explore the area better. They also provided discounts for bike rental and boat rides. The room was nice and spacious, and it was pretty comfortable to stay there. The location is convenient as it is right on the waterfront next to the pier.

• Shweta (10/5): Highly recommend :) - The hotel is a couple minutes from the pier and offers discounts to ferries and bike rentals. It is very clean and modern with expansive views of the lake! The hosts are exceptional and shared local tips for the best Sun Moon Lake experience.

Pour les personnes qui ont du mal à se déplacer, l'utilisation de la douche / baignoire peut être difficile car c'est assez haut pour y accéder.

• Timothy (10/5): Wonderful location, excellent & hospitiality is A+! If given a chance again, I would come stay here again. Thanks fo - It is conveniently located with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It is less than 5 minutes walk away from the lake itself. This view can be enjoyed from the B&B itself, especially if you picked the top floor. The host was super helpful with questions and try to help with any special request. The breakfast is included,and with a message personally written, it adds a nice touch to the B&B. There was nothing wrong with place itself, everything works as intended. It is nothing against the property, but definitely consider a lower floor if mobility is an issue that you have. The flight of stairs may pose a problem for those with that problem.
• Nora (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswert! - Wir haben eine Nacht im Ming Hu B&B verbracht und waren begeistert. Das Hotel liegt wenige Meter vom Sonne Mond See entfernt und auf der anderen Seite hat man das Zentrum, der kleinen Stadt, wo man viele Essens-und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat. Der Ort selbst ist eher ruhiger, was uns aber sehr gefiehl. Die Hotelinhaberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar früher auf unsere Zimmer gelassen. Sie hat uns viele Tipps geben, was man alles unternehmen kann. Das kleine Frühstück am Morgen war sehr lecker und so liebevoll in Boxen verpackt, so das man es perfekt am See genießen konnte. Wir können das B&B herzlichst empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder

• Sarina (10/5): Fabulous location, clean and amazing view - Fabulous location on tje waterfront overlooking the piers where the boats that travel around the lake leave from. Surrrounded by shops, restaurants and convenience stores as well as walking distance to the main bus station, including the only bus that goes to Alishan from Sun Moon Lake. Very friendly staff on check-in. Very clean room with many thoughtful touches. Make sure the refridgerator is plugged in when you enter your room - we didn't check and didn't plug it in. Bags were carried to the room for us. Breakfast vouchers for the 7/11 behind the bus station (not the one at the bus station) as we had an early check out. Shower head fitting to wall meant the shower head couldn't be angled down. I just held the shower head instead to shower.

Breakfast is organised in a picnic way, that you can take and eat in your room or in front of the lake. I definitely recommend it.

• Soyoung (10/5): - 호수가 내려다보이는 전망좋은 방입니다. 욕실도 통창으로 피로를 풀며 기분 전환할 수 있습니다. 깔끔하게 정리되어 있는 방이 기분 좋은 곳입니다. 아침에 준비해 주는 도시락도 보기 좋고 맛도 좋고 양도 적당합니다. 프런트가 없으나 카톡으로 다양한 안내를 받을 수 있고 체크인 방법도 자세히 알려주어 셀프체크인도 쉽게 할 수 있었습니다. 문의사항에 친절하고 신속하게 응대하여 편안했습니다. 숙소 바로 아래에 선착장이 있고 5분거리에 가장 큰 버스정류장이 있어서 이동하기에도 편리합니다. 주위에 맛있는 음식점도 많지만 호수 건너편에 식당가가 몰려있으니 이용하는 것도 좋습니다. 하루는 배를 이용하여 일월담을 둘러보고 하루는 자전거로 둘러보는 것이 좋을 것 같으니 일월담 여행기간을 충분히 잡을것을 권합니다. 다소 빘지만 가격대비 만족합니다. 아들이 매우 만족했습니다. 꼭대기층이었는데 엘베가 없어서 몸이 불편하신 분은 고려하셔야합니다.

• Darcee (10/5): Fantastic stay - The staff was amazing - so friendly and so helpful and they gave us lots of great recommendations. The breakfast was good and you could eat in your room. You could buy discounted boat tickets at the front desk. Our room was lovely- beautiful lake views complete with a bathtub. Everything was perfect.

The breakfast boxes were cute and we enjoyed eating them in the sunny terrace of Sun Moon Lake. Overall great experience! We didn't have a room with the lake view and the bathroom equipment was a bit older than on the promoted pictures. However it was clean and working great!

• Tan (8/5): Lake front stay at Shuishe pier - Million dollar lake view from room. Location is central and so convenient to shops, restaurants and to take boat cruise around the lake. Free parking provided by hotel at nearby carpark with unlimited access. Plenty of drinking water provided and staff was friendly and helpful. Had to climb 4 floors to get to room as there’s no lift. It’s clearly indicated but quite a climb. The stay is really quite basic, no toiletries provided, no daily cleaning nor towel change, all indicated well in advance. Room can be quite noisy due to proximity to pier.

• Ashleigh (10/5): Stunning! - What a beautiful place to stay! We were blown away by the stunning view. It's unusual for a place to be better than the photos but this is one of those places. Everything was so comfortable and spacious with everything that we needed. The staff kept in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay. We would recommend this to anyone staying at Sun Moon Lake and we hope to be back!

• Nortay (8/5): Ok stay at Sun Moon Lake. - The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is a problem. The breakfasts are really delicious and bring on the lakefront if you are not in a lakefront room it’s really easy to have breakfast by the lake. The room was plenty big enough with a comfortable bed and water provided. The bathroom/shower was the worst in 4 weeks travel of Taiwan, however this is the only B&B we stayed at. The water temperature and pressure was erratic, the water goes all over the floor if you don’t watch carefully which direction you point the shower head, and water came up out of the middle of the floor when the plug was put in the sink. There is a lot of light in the room at night as some windows have no curtains. No real soundproofing as heard dogs barking in the middle of the night, and lots of street noise. Bring earplugs.

Clean and quiet at night Comfortable bed Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Breakfast is only available from 8:30. Too late for some of the activities in my opinion. Use of 7 Eleven vouchers (value &120TWD) is not a great food substitute when checking out early. 7 Eleven at the bus station did not accept my voucher although I had thought I was told all 7Eleven in Shuishe accept the vouchers. Clear communication was a bit difficult at times.

A lot to eat. Birdie is a really helpful person. Unfortunately there is no elevator but the staff helped carry my bag down for me when he saw me struggling.

So if carrying big luggage. Host would encourage and help to keep them at the lobby for safe keeping.

• Yu (10/5): A comfortable stay in a clean spacious room with awesome lake view - We booked two rooms for our family of 5, a double room with lake view and a family room with lake view which resembles a penthouse at the highest floor. Spacious room at a centralised location right by the port and facing the Sun Moon Lake. Very clean and a bathtub in the toilet overlooking the lake. Breakfasts were homemade and very awesome. The drawings on the boxes were so gorgeous. Portions were generous and we couldn’t finish it! The bread was so delicious. The hosts were very helpful to give advice as well. Just a note to travellers that it’s all stairs and not very conducive for elderly who has mobility issues. Especially the family room is located right at the top, so it’s a climb up five storeys. But the view was all worth it.
• Michael (10/5): worth the stay - was in a great location the breakfast box was great with a nice selection of food inside definitely put together with care ❤️ there was also some nice handrawn art and nice comments for the day I had it on the lake frontage as this was a nice place to sit. the owner also offers a discount for bike hires across the street. I would stay here again. The lake view room would have been an excellent choice stairs to top floor name of hotel not quite clear when arriving
