Der Garten ist im Sommer bestimmt wundervoll. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich.. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, sodass es nicht sehr ruhig ist. Die Wendeltreppe zum Zimme hoch ist sehr steil und eng. Für jemand, der nicht so mobil ist, könnte es ein Problem sein.

We mochten van de gastheer, die ons eveneens warm welkom bracht, gebruik van hun de prachtige riante tuin. Schone mooie kamer,alles aanwezig. We komen graag nog eens terug. Komen zeker nog eens terug. Een tip :Een wat grotere spiegel zodat je kan zien hoe je kleding staat (aankleedspiegel) is maar een tip zeker geen tegenvaller.

La chambre est propre, la salle de bain spatieuse bref parfait !! Seul petit bémol, la porte vitrée séparant la salle de bain/toilettes de la chambre qui est vitrée et qui ne cache donc pas la pièce.

• Richard (10/5): An ideal base for Antwerp - This was a wonderful hotel to finish our holiday. Our first reason for chosing it was because Antwerp charges an extortionate low emissions zone tax, so we had to find somewhere outside that city. The local buses stops regularly outside the hotel, and takes one to the #3 tram that goes directly to the heart of Antwerp; total journey time about 30 minutes. It is a small chateau set in its own gardens (with a modest lake) in a normal street in a relatively quiet town. Manicured gardens, fountain, charming host, and large rooms furnished in a fin de ciecle style - but with all mod cons. Our room had a fully furnished kitchen with all we would need if we had wanted to self-cater. That said, the Jules Verne Restaurant only 5 minutes away offered a full and reasonable menu. Breakfast the following morning was prepared by our charming hostess, and was varied and copious - she even encouraged us to make rolls for our lunch. This is an exceptional hotel - I only hope that this review does not make the hotel so popular that we don't get another chance to stay there! Antwerp's low-emission zone charges....

Wonderful location, nicely decorated and spacious room (separate very clean kitchen attached, but I was stayed just one night for Business and did not use it). Quiet location, the large bed was super comfortable, very friendly owners and delicious handmade scrambled eggs for breakfast. I will definitively stay there again!

Location is perfect with easy bus transport to Antwerp. Parking is off street in the gated compound. Shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay again and send friends there without hesitation. The 4 person apartment is on top level up a spiral stair which would be difficult if you had big suitcases so pack light! Not a problem, just something to be aware.

• Melissa (10/5): Overnight Getaway - Peter and Faith have a lovely B&B! We stayed in the big suite with all the extras. It was a well needed getaway we both very much enjoyed! Highly recommend! I would only suggest maybe some optional soft mattress toppers that can be added if needed as the mattresses were just a bit too firm for our tastes. Otherwise, we were completely smitten with our experience!
• angelinfl (8/5): - Beautiful property, super clean, amazing breakfast with many choices. Very nice and helpful owners. We were spending one day in Antwerp and decided to stay here for the night. Since we are not local (USA) we had a very hard time using public transport to get to the property, ended up walking in circles looking for the right train and wasted an hour (there are no clear directions to metro station Astrid at the Antwerp train station). Then our bus didn't arrive for 30 minutes so were waiting on the bus station for a while. Also the cost to get to hotel from Antwerp was 6 euros per person each way so add that to your budget if you are coming from Antwerp using public transportation. Overall, great place to stay, just had a hard time getting there.

The owners are amazing people and provide great service and just wonderful-wonderful breakfast, we couldn't finish as it was a lot for us. The area is fantastic for travelers and so beautiful. The place has its own history and you can feel it with wall paintings. There is a sauna and hot tub available and massage table. • Jan (10/5): Amazing accommodation. An absolute gem. - We had an amazing stay. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment which was huge and we also had exclusive use of the sauna and hot tob. The decor and furniture was quirky but brilliant and really interesting. Breakfast was served in our room and was amazing with a huge choice of food including English and continental breakfast and the most gorgeous fresh fruit salads. The fridge was stocked with goodies which were there for us at no extra charge. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable.
• michaelaC7987YX (10/5): Castle/Mansion in Quaint Belgium Town - Luxury out-house furnished with classic chaiselongue, sofa, chairs, dinning table and chandeliers. Arrived to a tour by Faith, the co-owner of the property (they also live in the main building). The kitchen (stocked with amazing breakfast and selection of free drinks) was ideal for a 2 night stay, Peter and Faith were welcoming, available and amenable at all times during my stay. There is a large lounge with great TV and sound system, along with tapestry and ornaments befitting of the property. The spiral staircase to the bedrooms (a double bedroom and a single childrens' bedroom) and upstairs showerroom, again excellently presented. Downstairs, the building is next to the jacuzzi, sauna and massage table. Also the well kept gardens and bbq area. Note: The entrance is through large golden gates, and not obvious that you would turn in at this point given how the pavements are. Faith and Peter emailed me before the stay to give details of the entry and their service. They came in at 7.30 each morning to drop off breakfast and also tidied the rooms between 12-1pm each day. The cleanliness was excellent. Also note that there are onsite staff who also live in the outbuilding, which is adjoined to the rented out B&B. Would most definitely stay again and hope that my review does not increase the price! .
