• Robert (2/5): - This was not a good value for money spent. The place was “cheap”. Uncomfortable, one lamp for two rooms, bad flooring, absolutely no warmth or personality. Smoke alarm went off at 4 AM, probably from fire pit in courtyard. Among the worst places we have ever stayed. Never again.
• Jillian (6/5): - The rooms where they had carpet were damp. The pull out bed on the couch was super uncomfortable. Luckily we brought a cot with us because our 14 year old preferred sleeping on that. The "wood" floors probably hadn't been mopped in months. I walked around with my bare feet and they would end up almost black from the floors. Also, there was no full length mirror. In between the two sides of the motel they had a nice large grassy area with a couple places to burn firewood. You had to go purchase your own firewood though. Also, there was a giant bright light in the grass that ruined the view of the sky after dark. There were pictures on the site of the northern lights, old pictures because that light gave off so much light polution you could barely see the stars. They did have a laundry room that housed extra towels, washcloths and blankets that you could grab. I know they have new-ish owners now, so I hope they improve. Cleaning would be a good improvement.

No lobby per se, contactless entry worked fine. Reasonable price.
• JIM (8/5): - Enjoyed quiet property and nice rooms with a cute little handy kitchenette, even had pots, plates, knives, forks, etc. Would stay again, but i would read listing closer and choose a room with two regular beds and not 1 bed and one sofa sleeper bed, not comfortable. Also could use updated TV that was larger LED so i could see it much better in bed.

If we needed anything we were given it right away (coffee, wash clothes, etc.). Would recommend to anybody considering a stay in Paradise. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

• Alesia (10/5): Wonderful Time - Taquamen Suites is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is close to Restaurants, groceries and gas. You are in walking distance to the above and to Lake Superior.

I would suggest adding a ceiling fan in the bedroom to avoid using A/C. The living/dining area need better lighting. A floor lamp or table lamp would be an improvement. The TV was difficult to manage finding more than one channel.

More than we reserved. Would be great for a large family getaway. No closet, but many large hooks and a few hangers in a large space designated for clothes (super for snowmobilers).Lots of high-quality towels and bathroom amenities. Management really thought this through.

• Kayla (8/5): - We loved our stay at Tahquamenon Suites Lodging! Everything was very clean and the check in process was easy. We loved the large green space in the middle of the property and the on-site laundry. The only critique I have is the pull out sofa-bed was extremely uncomfortable and needs to be replaced/upgraded. We ended up having to put the mattress on the floor in order to use it. Otherwise we loved our stay and will be coming back the next time we’re in the U.P.
• Christine (10/5): Beautiful and spacious - This place is amazing! It looks as though it's been renovated recently. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. One thing I really appreciated is that they don't skimp on the little things. For example, there were plenty of towels, which were of high quality and good size. They offered personal care items, such as shampoo, soap, and lotion which were also of high quality. There were two air conditioning units, one in the bedroom and one in the living area. I don't know if I had an accessible room or if they're all the same, but my room had a good number of handrails in the bathroom and shower. With my leg and foot, I really appreciated that foresight! I have stayed many places, and this is one of the best. I highly recommend it.

• Cheong (4/5): - You are sent a contract and door code via text except they failed to send the door code on two occasions. I had to submit a text request and wait for a response since there's no staff on site. I had planned to use the sofa bed for my son, but discovered that it would only lock in an inclined position and the sheets and blankets provided for the sofa bed were filthy. I again texted and they said that since no one was on site, it would take about 30 minutes for someone to come look at the issue. Because it was already late and we had planned for an early morning, I asked for a second room for my son until they could repair the sofa bed. They texted the next morning to say that the sofa bed had been repaired, but it had not, which we didn't realize until late that evening. When I mentioned it the next day, I got a note that said "I'll take a better look at it today. Safe travels." No apology, no price adjustment. They just don't care about tourists. Also, no duvet covers, just a flimsy sheet with a disgusting unwashed blanket. One good thing: its located across the street from the Inn, which serves good food and drinks.

• Charles (10/5): Perfect location for a real get away! - This was a perfect location for our group of 5 to enjoy all the fun things to do around Paradise, Michigan. The local restaurant was amazing and we enjoyed multiple meals there. The local gas station and staff were so friendly and helped get us started with gear for Yooper lite rock hunting which we found so many! The state park with beautiful waterfalls and trails were close as well. The room was furnished well, with equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
• Thomas (10/5): Large room - We chose a large 4-bed suite, very clean and tidy. This included a kitchenette with fridge, stovetop and microwave, but no oven (no pizza). A bit odd was a small table with only two chairs, but more folding chairs in the corner.
• Michael (10/5): - Clean, comfy and provides everything you'll need for your stay ; Wifi, TV, great heating/ac and zero contact. So checking in and out is extremely easy. Also has a great bar within walking distance.
• James (10/5): Will be staying there again!! - Very clean and updated room. It was great to have a kitchenette as there aren't alot of restaurants open this time of year. We will be staying there next time we are going to be up there.

• Bil (10/5): Perfect place to hibernate. - Now THIS is service. I have traveled a lot and stayed a lot of places but this is by far the best lodging experience I have ever had. Big bedroom with soft and comfy bed. Living room with TV and sofa-sleeper. Dining area with table and chairs. Kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishes and utensils. Bathroom with huge tub/shower and plenty of towels and toiletries. Soothing climate control. Manager is super friendly and check-in/check-out could not be any easier. Just an all-around great place to rest.
