• Ariella (8/5): Lovely little holiday stay. - Great location, house was very clean and had all facilities we needed and more. Shea was incredibly helpful and made sure we had what we needed. We came with 2 little children so the metal staircase in the middle wasn't ideal for them. We were warned about it so it's not a negative reflection on the place or staff. We also put plastic covers on the carpet around the eating area as it was carpeted and we didn't want to make a mess with the kids. This is all just relevant for having small children there but the place was lovely and we all enjoyed it.

• Rhona (10/5): Rhona, Ireland - The house was fantastic, very clean, beds comfortable. The host thought of everything. We were there for Cheltenham and it was just a short train trip away. We really enjoyed it and would definitely return.

• Angela (6/5): We made the most of our stay but couldn’t sit out and enjoy a glass of wine for being overlooked and shared garden - Nice towels and bedding Very misleading photos of location … was over looked by neighbours in fact a shared garden with them , on a busy road , photos made the property look detached in its own grounds but this was not the case Cleaning was not up to scratch glasses toilet products signs greasy Outdated food offered milk off and pkt nuts out of date Shocked at the fact there was a lock on a sofa bed in lounge 😧 The last insult was a few bags on entry with washed and used slippers ( who would ever use other people’s slippers even when washed ) and there was a sign to tell you could buy them for 25 pounds !!!
• KEITH (9/5): Overall a lovely place to stay. Would definitely recommend . - Good location for our stay. Easy to access. All we needed regarding equipment and facilities. Very clean and cozy. Our bed was too close to the floor for our ease of access at our age.
• Fidelma (3/5): Not interested to return again our family wedding was ruined by the owners anger - Close to the city would not recommend this property to overseas clients as the owner was very strict with her rules and when she shouted at me on the phone and was very rude I was devastated and she threatened to evict us as my son had not parked our car in the correct place No privacy as owner was watching us all the time from her house no washing machine or drier available no proper fans as weather was hot and very humid .too small for our family

• Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Compact accommodation just the right layout, owner sent detailed instructions all super organised for our stay so was stress free. Clean, immaculate facilities, thoughtful additions like brew facilities. Nothing that we didn't like.
• Alys (10/5): Excellent comfortable stay. - Really comfortable, everything that you might need was supplied. Great location not far from the city centre with a frequent bus service from a stop just around the corner. Very quiet as set back from the relatively busy road. Would highly recommend.

• Nicola (10/5): Gorgeous well equipt property and fantastic host. - Mother-in-law and I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights between moving house. This was the perfect place to come back to after a hard days work and with belongings now in storage. Everything was provided such as toiletries, slippers, towels washing up liquid, salt and pepper etc etc. The layout suited us perfectly and was cosy and very well appointed. Shea, the host was fantastic - even leaving some money off coupons for a local restaurant for us. She obviously takes such pride in her property and it is kept to a high standard, she is a natural host. She made our stay relaxing and easy in what was not a very relaxing situation! Thank you Shea.

• Philip (10/5): Excellent property but smokers should avoid as cannot smoke even in the garden! - Very clean and with all required facilities. Whilst I appreciate that smoking or vaping is not allowed in any premises (including my own home), it was very disappointing that we were not allowed to smoke or even vape in the garden and we had to walk to the main road to smoke. If you smoke or vape I would avoid this property.

• Christopher (4/5): Hobbit-sized but well built bijoux annex. Minor disconcerting issues about advance arrival processes - The interior finish of the property interior is positive. The annex appears well built and equipped, with a pleasant garden presentation. Bijoux in size overall, it allows two couples or a small family to provide for themselves during a short stay. In spite of our remarks about unnerving credit card authorisation procedure, in full transparency we were able to confirm after our stay that no deduction had been made. Our view of the host overall is positive. The highlighted disappointments are of a commercial 'hygiene' nature and need to be viewed in the context that she provided a good service. *Advance damage deposit*. Prior to arriving, there was a dubious and disconcerting credit card authorisation procedure which raised security concerns. Host required card details for pre-authorisation of damage deposit over phone and told us she was inputting an amount of GBP75. This was not entirely accurate, and various remarks by host led us to call our bank to check status and seek reassurance we had not been duped into authorising an unlimited deduction. Principally, our doubts were whether there was a genuine GBP75 cap. Host flimflammed about needing to protect herself against damage, which we never doubted. BUT, her process left ample scope for confusion about the extent of potential withdrawal. In our view, the host needs to choose - AND DISPLAY AT THE POINT when taking card details - whether pre-authorisation is genuinely limited OR to increase the damage deposit she actually wants pre-authorised. To summarise, it is unnerving that she claims her deposit will be fixed at £75, but is unable then to prove or provide reassurance - at the point of taking card details - that guests' risk exposure is limited to that amount; *Not cheap* - £125/night for granny annex away from town centre; *Size - built for hobbits*. Ceiling height in upstairs bedroom is c.6½ foot, with slanted ceiling in shower room. Although I'm not especially tall at 6', I had to kneel to use the shower! *Communication* - deluge of comms in the days immediately before arrival, often repeating data (literally, four messages with same content); *Noise disturbance* - dog barking in neighbouring property (can't be controlled by host).

• Jodie (10/5): Lovely property in the Gloucester suburbs - The location was excellent, on a quiet residential street about 15 minutes from the Longlevens National Express stop and around 25 minutes from the city. It is very comfortable and there is plenty of space for a couple or family.

The house is very well equipped, and we absolutely loved the attention to detail. What a fantastic little holiday we had and I would absolutely recommend it.

I had to provide my credit card details including cvv for future use by the owner in case any damage is caused. This information was not provided when I booked. Just before 1 week of booking dates I have been requested to provide my credit card details.

• Urvi (8/5): Great place for short getaway! - The house is located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. The interior is very well decorated and set up. We received detailed instructions on accessing the house and for our stay. The complimentary slippers and bathrobes were a welcome surprise :). There was great attention to post-stay cleaning too.

• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - A truly stunning property that's been tastefully restored. There is everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness was top notch! Hosts seem to of thought of everything. Myself and my sister slept comfortably as both beds had really good mattresses and quality bedding. Communication with Shea was on point and nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% recommend staying here, and hope to stay again in the future Having to go out onto the street to vape/smoke especially late at night as felt we may of been disturbing the host's or neighbours. A little designated area in the garden would of been perfect. This did not affect our stay and would not put us off returning in the future.

• Nuntavun (6/5): Pleasant - 1. We have already paid all of rental price before check-in date. We tried many times to pay deposit to the property owner but the method is inconvenience. We offered many ways to pay deposit to the owner but the owner still insisted that way. We cannot access the property in spite of fully paid of rental price because the owner only insisted to receive the deposit before inform us how to access. After problem solving, the owner informed the problem came from language berrier which is not true and unfair to transfer risks to us. 2. We found some equipments are dirty such as the oven and microwave. I feel uncomfortable. 3. If the owner think the deposit is very secious, the equipments should be cleaned and ready for customer to use.

• Thezcm (10/5): Perfect Two-Bedroom Apartment in Gloucester - This stylish two-bedroom apartment is spotlessly clean and is equipped with all the facilities you need during your stay. The place is quiet and the beds are comfy which allowed us to have a great sleep. The host was very friendly and helpful.
