- Verified traveler (8/5): - Homely, very welcoming. If you like farms, there were horses, geese, ducks to explore. Also a lovely dog which was very friendly. The area is gorgeous with fields, a lake and so many mushrooms.... so like the traditional fairy toadstools. In the summer, there are several areas for sitting out. Madeline proved very friendly and would do anything to please.

- June (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Absolutely stunning home of Madeleine. She made you feel extremely welcome and her breakfast was incredible. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, croissant, full English. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She even arrange the taxis for our evening out. The farm house is in a quiet area but only 10 minute drive to the beautiful quaint little village of Belper. ( Just what we like).Cannot recommend this place enough. It was just perfect . Ooh and don't forget Izzy the beautiful German shepherd who also made you feel very welcome

- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was in a lovely quiet area, plenty of room to park. The accommodation was lovely, our room was extremely comfortable and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble for the owner who was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again and we are happy to recommend it.
