• John (9/5): Very good value - would stay again! - There wasn't anything we didn't like! We found having to go through the entrance hallway to reach the bedroom/bathroom a bit odd at first but very quickly got used to it. We couldn't think of anything to improve on. There was nothing we would complain about.

Lovely to have a separate sitting room, in addition to bedroom and en-suite facilities. Lovely comfortable bed. Good breakfast facilities provided. Not really a dislike, but bath sheets rather than towels would have been a preference.

• Maged (9/5): Nice clean accommodation with good facilities at a very competitive price. - Kind welcoming host with secure, clean and good size accommodation. Generous host providing so many items like bottled mineral water, milk, cereals, porridge,jams and bread. You have fridge and both sitting room as well as separate bedroom with nice clean furniture. Sitting room though for your use only is separate from bedroom but next to it so you have to get out from room to room through the main door reception area.

She was a pleasant and caring host and had obviously taken a lot of trouble to provide all the facilities I could possibly want. The property was warm and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend Carole and her property and I would be happy to stay there again if I go to Peterborough. Carole provided an excellent breakfast and milk for making tea when I arrived. Nothing - all was very good.

• Philip (9/5): A brilliant comfortable stay with a wonderful host in a great quiet location. - The location, the friendliness received from Carole. Ease of access and especially the foods available for breakfast and the little extras in the fridge when we arrived. A parking space for the car. Only a suggestion.......As the temperatures were excessively high 33°C in the day and 24°C at night a strong fan for the bedroom might be a consideration going forward as temperatures are increasing unfortunately.

Thoughtful in provision of some toys, books etc for young children and second kettle and mugs etc in bedroom if you like a cuppa in bed. Plentiful breakfast of cereal yoghurt juice and toast
• Roy (9/5): Superb - Good location. Not far from local shop & excellent Chinese Takeaway. Nice pub (Windmill). A really excellent park nearby (Nene Park) with cafe and restaurant. Quiet & very comprehensively equipped.. Good parking & good wifi The mattress was rather soft for me, but fine for my wife! We supplemented the nice continental style breakfast with fruit.

• Joanna (10/5): Perfect for a weary traveller needing peace, quiet and a good sleep. - Utterly delightful. Really lovely to have my own little sitting room with mini kitchenette so I could heat a microwave meal and have my cereal in peace and not have to buy a take away. The hosts were lovely, when I mentioned I’d been poorly she rushed to kitchen to close the door so the smells didn’t get to my room. Bed was REALLY cosy and soft and neighbourhood totally silent and peaceful. Definitely staying here again. Nothing.
• Janet (8/5): 15th-17th May 2025 - I had a warm welcome, was shown to the rooms and was offered bread for toast in the morning. The bed was very very comfy! Everything you needed was provided, lots of variety for breakfast. There were even cafetiere and nice ground coffee. Really nice to have a fridge and milk, water, yoghurt, butter, juice provided. It was like a little flat with two rooms. The property met my expectations in a lot of ways. Overall it is a good, safe place to stay. The area is very nice. No worries about the safety of your car overnight. The bathroom wasn't clean. The bedroom was lovely but the light streaming in woke me up at 5am. Would be useful to fit some blackout curtains/blinds for lighter sleepers. The description said private rooms during your stay. I wasn't expecting anyone to go in either of the rooms while I was out but when I came back some things I had organised in the lounge had been altered. Then I read the description in more detail and it says daily housekeeping. Perhaps something to hang on the doors would be good to indicate if you want housekeeping or not. A minor thing but for anyone interested, the property doesn't have its own private front door. You go in the host's front door into their hallway and the rooms are to the left.

• Stuart (9/5): A great place to stop, - more like an apartment hotel than a plain B&B - The property has a separate large lounge with comfy charis, a television and a kitchentte. The bed was very comfortable and the room airey - I had a great night's sleep. Nothing.
• Kezia (9/5): Superb - Pleasant, friendly hosts. The accommodation was 2 rooms, both were spotless. Ensuite in bedroom. Lovely location. Bed was comfortable. Kettle in both rooms. Bedside lamp was working. Lots of choice for breakfast if you like cereals. Highly recommended. 9.9 rating. Minor things, I like porridge but not flavoured sachets. Also, the step into the shower cubicle would not be suitable for everyone. Everything else was very good.

• Michael (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable and well equipped apartment, 2 separate rooms and easy to make yourself at home. Pleasant, attentive hosts. So much better than a hotel and a fairly easy walk to two bar / restaurants. Nothing.

• Anthony (4/5): Disappointing and we will not be going back - Breakfast was fair, it was just cereal, juice, toast of two rounds of seeded bread each left in a Tupperware box that had been left on the table the night before, I asked for wholemeal bread and white for my husband but it looked as if she had not got any other bread as no notice was taken, The lady had just put a Xmas tree up in the lounge and she had not hovered up the mess on the carpet also you had to pull the tv out to see it which with all the leads was difficult looking at the tv and tv stand which had not been dusted for some time as it was thick with dust Not a very warm welcome it was just hello when we arrived and as we left I don’t think she was going to come to us but the door was locked and she had to let us out did not find her very hospitable

• Jagusiak (10/5): Cosy and warm stay! - The place was so clean and warm! Very homely, indeed. The bed, I must say was more comfortable than the one I have at home. Honestly, couldn't fault the hosts or their beautiful home. At the arrival we were asked right away about breakfast the next day.bas we were only stopping for a very short stay due to my Xmas party at work, we decided we would leave early so no brekkie needed. However, the frisge had water, juices and yoghurt which were available to us, so we felt very well catered for. Recommend 10/10 Honestly, for us, the stay was brilliant. The room may not be the most modern in design but it is clean, warm and cosy & comfortable.

It was so good to return to the property after a full day, and just relax. The hosts were on hand if I needed anything, but left me to my own devices, which was exactly what I wanted.

• Helene (10/5): Absolutely perfect, all requirements fulfilled and value for money to boot! - My stay was perfect. It was exactly what I needed, with all my requirements to allow me to visit my Father in Peterborough City Hospital which was only a 10 minute drive away. I could go back to the accommodation during the day to do some work in my room which was perfect and the wifi was more than adequate. I liked the fact that I had the freedom to come and go and had everything I needed at hand. Breakfast was great with a choice of cereal and toast and there was a microwave which I used in the evenings to prepare myself a basic meal. Let me also just mention the wonderfully comfortable bed too, lovely! The value for money was absolutely spot on and my hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would most definitely use again in the future, if I need to. Nothing, it was all great!

The hosts have clearly put a lot into making sure their guests have a very comfortable and relaxing stay with everything you could possibly need or want available, I felt very welcomed into their lovely home. The apartment is very well equipped and furnished, and I echo previous reviews about the very comfortable bed!! I highly recommend it!!!!! Nothing at all!
