Guest Reviews
- Duncan (10/5): Outstanding Place to stay. - The château was fantastic. Everything about it was wonderful. The furniture in the bedroom was incredibly lovely and very fitting for the style and period of the château. The bedroom was spacious, clean and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was most enjoyable. The owner was really lovely, friendly and most helpful. She made you feel that you were at home. I hope to return as this was the perfect place fof me.

- sylvie (8/5): -
- Oscar (10/5): Una estancia maravillosa - Una experiencia maravillosa.
Totalmente recomendable
- Mark (10/5): - The homely hospitality.
The superb house and grounds.
Genuinely dog- friendly. Leaving
- Andrew (9/5): Very pleasant short stay and we hope to return. - Charming chateau and our room was very comfortable. Madame Natalie was both interesting and very helpful. Nothing.

Bijzondere sfeer. Dicht bij de weg maar niet hinderlijk. Niets
- jean (6/5): -
- Jean-Yves (9/5): -
- Stefan (10/5): So geht Hotel. Empfehlenswert! - Sehr herzlicher und freundlicher Empfang. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Zimmer perfekt, sauber und mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Bad, Zimmer sauber.
So geht Hotel. Vielen lieben Dank.

Madame spoke very good english and was very hospitable. not many places to eat in the evening. There was a high class restaurant but not very much else, which we were a bit too tired to enjoy. We ended up in a bar owned by a Lebanese family who were very kind and cooked us a small mezze/tapas meal.

Welcomed by Nathalie (owner) with great stories, lovely plate de charcuterie et frommage for dinner. This place is placed on a large quiet estate with nature, horses, pigs, chickens and cats. The hosts are going out of their way to facilitate you and are absolutely lovely. Definitely a place to keep in mind for future stays (again)
- Christopher (10/5): Wonderful stay in a fantastic location, great restaurant a short drive away. - Fantastic old chateau with wonderful rooms and grounds. Nothing.
- Prudence (9/5): Lovely welcome and comfy beds. - Comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Brilliant space inside and out. Lovely grounds to run around and space in the room to chill and spread out. Warm and friendly welcome from the host. So hand for Limoges (although we used as a stop off on our journey north). Local produce at breakfast Not much in room information- e.g. breakfast time, how to get back in if we go out.
- Helen (9/5): Lovely - Beautiful building and grounds. Owner Natalie extremely welcoming and friendly, gave us a tour of the property and the history to the castle and area.
- Liz (9/5): A lovely stopover on our way south - everything was good! - Gorgeous , great location close to the autoroute, delightful rooms and very charming host

Wifi was good. No other facilities in the bedroom - no TVs anywhere which aided the peace and quiet.
- Twp (7/5): A great place to stop over - The Chateau was lovely, clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the staff were excellent.
The staff were really invested in our stay, even sitting with us at breakfast to translate between the French and English guests.
It is conveniently close to the motorway and very easy to find, so useful after a long drive. The Chateau tries to preserve much of its historic past with sympathetic decoration and furnishings, to some this may present as requiring updating or needing some TLC.
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -

- Robin (8/5): Very good chateau hotel - Great location. Quirky room but very comfortable and an excellent bathroom. Bottles of water and a coffee maker would be nice. Impressive grounds and house. Very good breakfast. Friendly and knowledgeable owner.
- Bob (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (10/5): An elegant château that exceeded our expectations in every way; we will return! - The care taken by the owners was exceptional; very friendly and helpful with lots of advice on how to enjoy the Limoges area.
Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable.
Having access to a full kitchen was a treat.
The French-style breakfast provided was delicious.
All in all a very special place to stay and one that we plan to return to soon! Steeped in history, elegant and surrounded by beautiful gardens/fields with horses roaming.
- Geoffrey (9/5): Very enjoyable. - Friendly, very quiet, an historic building with period furniture in a lovely setting. off road parking and close proximity to motorways.
- Marijke (10/5): A truly grand experience in a relaxed environment. - Absolutely gorgeous! Like sleeping in one of the chateaux we’d been touring all day! - Christine (10/5): Fine château...fine setting...great atmosphere. - An excellent start to a 10 day holiday in Haute Vienne. The grounds are gorgeous...horses in their paddock a splendid sight. The château has great atmosphere and in parts is ancient. Convivial breakfasts at a shared table...white tablecloth...vibrant colours of seasonal fresh fruit. Many guests with their dogs...delightful.

- Peter (4/5): Very comfortable but dated. - The breakfast provided vas a typical continental breakfast and was adequate. The location was great just off the motorway and there were lovely views from the rooms The property had been renovated approximately 20 years ago, it is now ready for a face lift and investment. the shower was great but there were 3 different wall finishes finishes, the bedroom had carpet tiles which were worn out.
its a nice property but needs some re-modelling to present at its best.
- Susan (9/5): Relaxing and delightful. - A beautiful place to stay with friendly and helpful proprietor. Not a hotel, and for us all the better for being a family run b&b. Great to chat to other guests from different countries and the owner, who speaks good English, was great at facilitating conversation over breakfast.
We appreciated the chance to say hello to the various animals in the grounds. There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a treat to stay in a chateau with genuine furniture in keeping with its history.
Guests should remember it is not a hotel and have reasonable expectations.
- David (9/5): Very pleasing in all respects - Excellent location and grounds. Very good breakfast. Would recommend it to anyone.
