Guest Reviews
- Dan (3/5): - locaton uncomfortable, a fire alarm in the middle of the night and a very nosy neighbours. too expensive for the facilities
- Jepson (9/5): Overall a pleasant experience and would return - Location, interior, staff and comfort Not a lot of hot water available and were advised not get the bathroom floor wet as it leaks onto the bar underneath.
- FRANCESCA (8/5): -
- Alan (10/5): -
- Eibensteiner (10/5): - Beautiful room :)
- Nichola (10/5): A great place to stay - Excellent, attentive and helpful staff, especially Lucas
Comfortable room full of character and charm
Delicious and varied menu
Cosy bar
Excellent location in the town and close to many places of interest All was good

- Siphokazi (8/5): -
- John (8/5): Enjoyed our second stay here - Lots of character in great location
- Wilson (10/5): Great place, great staff and great location. - Very good location for the town. Fantastic old building and the room was nicely furnished and very clean. Although we didn't eat at the Seven Stars some of my family who were staying in the town longer did and said the food was very good. Although there is no parking attached to the Seven Stars there is a reasonably priced car park on the side street oposite which also has EV charging. There was a little bit of noise occasionally from the pub in the room we had but nothing that would generate a complaint.
- Vladimir (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Loved this quirky hotel - I loved the room very pleasant and clean. Loved the quirkiness of the old beams and the slightly slanting floor. Facilities and location very good. The only slight issue was the parking as a solo traveller. For long stay the car was parked a little distance away, so transporting my bags was a little troublesome as was only staying one night. After staying elsewhere. So i suggest park next to hotel and unload first then park car. I paid on just park so the following day just extended my parking online. Saved having going over to the car park physically too extend parking. Food looked and smelt good but didnt get chance to try. Would stay again. Nothing
- David (8/5): - manager and staff were exccellent.Food service very good
- Sarah Lynne (10/5): Characterful old pub with lovely rooms. - Lovely characterful room. Comfortable bed and large bathroom with a tub.
Excellent double glazing so no traffic noise from the High Street.
Lovely breakfast menu and very good value. Nothing! (but very tall people may find the ceilings a it low!)
- Liz (9/5): Lovely independent pub with excellent rooms, great food and delightful staff. - The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The room was well-appointed. We'd booked a twin room but the bed was made up as a king size. The manager offered to change it back while we were having dinner. The food was excellent and although we asked for a negroni and they didn't have Campari, the bar manager made an excellent alternative with another bitter. The key situation on departure was a little complicated and we couldn't find the box in which we were supposed to leave the key. There was no breakfast, though we were directed to a nearby cafe.
- Paula (10/5): Will return - Lovely room great staff and food lovely as always
- Markus (8/5): -
- Emma (8/5): The perfect mini break location in a beautiful market town with friendly staff, good food and excellent drink -
- Rosie Braidley (7/5): Very enjoyable stay - Lovely room, friendly staff, great location. The noise travelled up thro the floor in my room. I think it would benefit from being carpeted. They don't do breakfasts in the week, which isn't a problem but I don't think that was clear when I booked it. Highly recommend La Maison Bistro which is less than a 5 min walk. Excellent breakfasts both mornings.
- Rosie Braidley (8/5): Very enjoyable stay - Lovely helpful staff, room very nice, good location I didn't realise that the hotel didn't do breakfast in the week. Not a big problem but its unusual.
- Alexander (8/5): -
- Katy (10/5): - The staff were amazing and friendly. Minor note about cob webs in the corner of the room but when asked to resolve it the staff were very helpful and on my return to the room it was all gone.
- Linda (10/5): - Stayed here for 2 nights. Was really surprised at how lovely it was. Room was stunning, staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast next day was lovely. Location was great. Would definitely recommend and would stay again There is nothing we didn't like about our room
- Peter (10/5): A lovely stay. A comfortable and clean room and very helpful staff. - Beautiful room. Enjoyable to be in. Very clean and comfortable. Nothing not to like
- Joseph (10/5): The building is beautiful but the real value of my stay was the friendly staff - Enjoyed a brief visit but would gladly stay again I hadn't enough time to experience everything
- Ruby (9/5): Very enjoyable - The hotel staff was very friendly and approachable, they even borrowed their charger for me to keep until the end of my stay. The room was very comfortable and offered cleaning service every day. Nothing
- Lorna (9/5): Very enjoyable - I liked the location, close to varied shops.
Also the style and age of the building
and the comfortable huge bed.
The staff were friendly and pleasant. It's not easy carrying a suitcase up the stairs
- Charlotte (9/5): -
- JohnJamieson (8/5): Pleasant stay in a very pleasant town. - No breakfast offered!
- alun (7/5): - Lovely building, friendly staff, good food Fire alarm going off twice in the early hours, poor pillows
- Vitor (10/5): -
- John (9/5): This is our third visit for a short stay. That fact in itself says it all. - Lovely location especially for the town centre. Plenty of parking nearby. Lovely atmosphere with real 'character' rooms, warm and cosy. Very friendly welcome. I was only sorry that breakfast was not available.
- alison (9/5): Great place to stay - Friendly staff and great food. Lovely room Price on booking.com did not say extra £15 for dog which we had to pay.
- Simon (7/5): Lovely staff, lovely food, rooms are fine. - The location is excellent and very characterful. The staff were friendly and the food was nice The room was a bit noisy as it is above the bar, which is, I suppose, to be expected, but it did sound like we were in the bar at times. The room seemed a little over priced. There was a lack of caffeinated coffee
- Marc (9/5): Lovely Christmas Stay! - Lovely large well decorated and comfortable room! Very charming due to the age, decorated respectfully due to age of site!
Excellent bed size, further attention to bathroom area but overall really pleasant!
Staff were really helpful and pleasant.
Great central location, we didn’t eat at site on this occasion but we have down previously but the meals did look wonderful! Nothing really
- Supenya (9/5): Recommended - Staff very friendly, the room is clean, bed so comfortable 😴 Please be aware about the noise from the bar below but nothing major.
- laurence (10/5): -
- Michel (8/5): Great location and comfortable. - Great location and comfortable. A bit overpriced for a room above a pub loud until late hours.
- Chris (10/5): -
- Eleanor (10/5): -
- Charlotte (10/5): The place I return to often - The friendly helpful staff and the excellent evening meal menu. Nothing!
- Clive (8/5): A lovely traditional Tudor House Hotel with a large comfortable bed - Very central to the town and the bed was so large and comfortable. Obviously because of the age of the property the floors were a little uneven. The hot water took a while to reach temperature but was very hot
- David (9/5): -
- Helen (8/5): - Lovely big comfortable bed, very spacious room and clean bathroom. Convenient town centre location. Didn't drive so cannot comment on parking arrangements. Check in staff were lovely and informative. Quite noisy below from the bar. No breakfast but there is a lovely cafe next-door but doesn't open until 9am.
- Clifford (8/5): Despite the disturbed night , we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. - Location was excellent and room had plenty of character. Breakfast was as described on menu. The bar was friendly The fire alarm went off at 2am ( a false alarm ). Our room had beams and a low ceiling , plus an uneven floor, all part of age and character of the building, but which during the night was disconcerting.
- Jo (10/5): Charming Pub in beautiful market town - Unfortunately didn't get her name but the young woman working, well everywhere! She was brilliant.
- Jamie (9/5): - Lovely staff, excellent food, and spacious room
- Sheila (8/5): The hotel was very comfortable, room well-supplied, staff welcoming, friendly and helpful . - Cleanliness - friendly and helpful staff - Would have appreciated wider choice on menu - and of course : Daily Breakfast! (though they did they offer this at weekends!
We breakfasted at a small cafe close to the hotel - it was very smart, well-staffed, and were open from quite early in the morning! Very popular with their customers, they offered a wide menu and we particularly enjoyed their delicious breakfasts!
- Vanessa (8/5): - Room, bar, location.
- Barbara (9/5): Thank you, i would stay here again. - staff friendly , room very pleasant, location excellent. Price rather high given there was no parking.
- Claire (10/5): Fabulous stay with great food and service - Charming

- Siw (9/5): - Historisches Gebäude mit Pub Restaurant, das Zimmer war urig mit den freigelegten Fachwerkbalken, authentisch und schön ausgestattet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist top.
- Nadkarni (9/5): -
- patricia (10/5): Very nice - Clean and very convenient to town
- Claire (9/5): - The room was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. It was in a great location and the staff were friendly. There were very nice shower products and plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Thankfully, there was a fan, as it was hot in the room. It was a bit awkward getting over the bath for a shower. Sadly there was no breakfast available onsite, despite it being in the description of facilities.
- Sally (7/5): Good value, nice room. - Comfortable large room, good value, great location. Very good value for money. Doesn't serve breakfast (Thursday). The main building on ground floor all locked up in the morning no staff, exited through residents door into alleyway. Seemed strange no staff, unfriendly.
- Jayne (8/5): -
- Supenya (9/5): -

- Kenneth (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and accommodating manager.
Excellent meal.
- Brian (8/5): Very good - Food was very good Room was noisy and hot. Also small with no chairs or mirrors in the bedroom, which we would have expected at the price point.
- Jansen (8/5): Very good - Very quaint pub - you get the full English country pub experience.
- Angela (9/5): Excellent - Great location. Lovely room, great bar and restaurant. Nothing.
- Thomas (8/5): Really nice helpful people. We will return soon. - Every ting worked well. We enjoyed our stay. Pity breakfast not always available but it worked out OK.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (10/5): Quaint and full of character with comfortable rooms and lovely staff - We loved it here in Ledbury, and the hotel was quaint and full of character with comfortable rooms and lovely staff. Nothing. It was more than we’d usually spend on a hotel room, particularly without breakfast included, but it was where we wanted to be.
- Clare (10/5): - The guy that is running it was very welcoming and helpful - definitely recommend
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - V good location , character nice staff Exit light in bedroom far too bright
Low beam in bedroom should be padded
- Iain (7/5): Could be better. - Staff were very welcoming and dinner in restaurant was exceptionally good. No breakfast which is a big down point.
Even a continental self serve option would be good.
Cleanliness of room was not so great, the loo in particular.
