• Vikna (1/5): Final verdict: STAY AWAY. The only super thing about this place is how super terrible it is. - There is absolutely nothing ‘Super’ about ‘Super Collection O Perumpallam’—except maybe how super terrible the experience was. Everything about this hotel was a disaster, from the service to the facilities. The only thing we remotely enjoyed was the morning fog, and that had nothing to do with the hotel itself but purely the location. Avoid this place unless you want disappointment served to you on a silver platter. 1. Location – A One-Way Ticket to Hell This place is in the absolute middle of nowhere, way beyond the outskirts of Kodaikanal. If you're traveling with family, avoid this nightmare at all costs. The roads? A steep, rocky, pothole-ridden disaster. If you have a new car, say goodbye to its underbody. We literally saw a family burning their tires trying to climb the steep road while their car struggled for dear life. No streetlights, no proper signs, no directions—just pray you don’t roll off the hill. Oh, and roadwork is happening, so the path is half-dug-up. Perfect for an accidental cliff dive. 2. Staff – Clueless & Careless The hotel’s own staff refuse to go out at night because it’s unsafe, but hey, they expect you to drive there with your family. What a joke! They are completely short-staffed, utterly unhelpful, and might as well not exist. You’re on your own here. 3. Food – Would Rather Starve We were promised breakfast at 8 AM, but it finally arrived at 10:30 AM—cold, rubbery dosas with watery sambar that looked like it had been made last week. When we asked why the food was so bad, we were told: "Our cook went on leave and never came back." (Honestly, I don’t blame him.) 4. Rooms – A Biohazard Zone Filthy beyond words. Looked like a drunkard’s lair—walls covered in stains (either vomit or spit, I don’t even want to know), and the entire room stank of alcohol and decay. Sinks clogged with God-knows-what (vomit? Food waste? A failed exorcism?), and even when they changed our room, the sinks were still clogged. Bedsheets? Smelled like they hadn’t been washed since the British left India. 5. Zero Maintenance – Not Fit for Humans If you're thinking of booking this place for your family, just sleep on the streets instead—it’ll be safer, cleaner, and less traumatic. This place is only suitable if you're left with literally no other option and are willing to spend a night questioning all your life choices.

• Aruna (1/5): Bad - It's an OYO property and location given in the booking.com is wrong. We had extremely bad experience with the property owner. We booked the room and messaged the property about our checkin time. We reached at the give location at midnight with whole family, including 2 aged ladies and 2 small kids. There was no property found in that name. Contacted customer care and the staff tried many times to reach out property owner on phone. But they were not answering the call. After 30 minutes we got property owner on line and was asking us to move forward but didn't see anything even after going 1 km distance. By the time property owner disconnected. Tried again but he wants picking. Customer care staff provided another loction which wa showing 3 km away from the location we were. We reached thick forest with complete mud road. Only off road vehicle can go. Owner was not answering. again after 30 minutes he picked but no proper directions given to us. We had to drop the booking and search for another hotel. Horrible experience. And property owner is completely irresponsible and not ready to answer the phone or give directions. That too in the mid night. They supposed to understand the trouble we were in with 2 aged ladies and kids. Extremely horrible experience.
• Sibadutta (1/5): Worst - Worst property. The bathrooms and kitchen was dirty and unhygienic. We left the property a day ago. Showing something on photos and it's totally different where you stay. The stay was very far away from the city. No mobile network, WiFi is worst, food is bad.

The room and bathroom provided was very small and bathroom was not very clean. The road to reach the property is terrible. The location shown in google map is incorrect. Please contact the property owners and aak the exact location to be followed while going there. Also it is better to go there by own vehicles because the taxi rent is too expensive and we will be forced to give the amount asked.

Location is very tuff to reach. No water in bathroom. So never book stay there, if you really want to book good stay check RR Holidays In, near VGP hill.

Never Use Rifle Range Rd. - Surroundings Ambience Took 3 Bed Room for 2 Days 5A+3k Rooms are enough spacious with minimum required furniture Cleanliness is -poor, Need lots of improvement Floor, was slippery due to residue from cleaning chemical/Liquid. Wifi is there for Nothing. Poor signal and always cut off. Jio sim users can enjoy the stay,...away from all worries caused by connectivity. Location is beautiful with a bonus of away from town. (6.3 kms) with pathetic Road. ( hopefully will improve soon) Food is provided on request which is average. (Felt enough with dinner)
