Guest Reviews
- Allen (2/5): Think Twice - Had a lot of transients / city workers, which left the carpet unclean, changed rooms three times due to it. The third was cleaner but we had to request the bathroom be cleaned. At one point my wife felt unsay returning to our room and asked the front desk to walk her to the room due to one occupant.
- Paul (2/5): - The person that checked us in was down right rude.
Have not stayed in a Days Inn in years
Will be many years before we stay at a Dats Inn again!
- John (8/5): - Over all clean and friendly staff.
- Katelyn (4/5): - Lobby was newly redone, no elevator so you take stairs where the carpet is coming off and the steps are falling apart (coming down you feel like you’re going to slip off). 2nd floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room was newly painted and redecorated but the floors were carpet and stained and very dirty. Bed sheets had stains. Bed was also very uncomfortable. We did not know you had to request housekeeping and there in nobody on the property between 10pm-6am so we did not get fresh towels and only had 1 roll of toilet paper. We won’t be staying again.
- Randolph (10/5): - Clean. But could use a professional to upgrade it. Terrible prop for sink . Bad calk
- Mike (2/5): - The room smelled like mildew and urine
Shoer floor had something slimy and slippery
- Ken (6/5): - The virtual assistant was basically incomprehensible to my old auditory capabilities, sink in accessible room ready to fall off the wall, carpet was stained, couldn’t get the tv to open any channel, maybe because I’m too old?
- Robert (8/5): - #8,,
- Amy (4/5): - Roomed smelled like mold and tv didn’t work room 117
- Rodney (6/5): - Dirty towels, refrigerator leaking and toilet leaking.
- Christopher (10/5): - Set back from the main road. Very quiet.
- Danny (6/5): - The place was a little rundown. They need some upgrades but it did provide what we needed for a quick overnight stay. The bed was comfortable.
Also, we were lucky that we got there when we did because apparently the front desk is only open for so long during the night and we might not of been able to check in.
- Terry (6/5): - Convenient location to nearby facilities. Lobby was clean. Multiple stains on carpet in room. Patch of spackling on ceiling was gone. Tv required login into personal subscriptions otherwise couldn’t use.
- Amy (10/5): - Clean comfy our go to home away form home!! Nice staff, great hot showers.
- Dana (6/5): - The first room I was booked into smelled like dog urine. They gave me another room and it was clean. No issues. Front desk was very nice. Hotel older but looks to have been renovated.
- Anita (8/5): - Room smelled like mildew and the walls are thin.
- Bradley (8/5): - Several excellent restaurants are within walking distance.
- Amy (10/5): - Great as always
- Suzetta (10/5): - Jshs
- Bryan (6/5): - The staff was great. The rooms were average to poor in cleanliness (bad odor in 1 room, stain on floor in another). Gas and food nearby was helpful.
- john (8/5): - Very quite clean and friendly.
- Patrick (8/5): - Was good for work trip
- Branden (2/5): Disgusting experience - Hotel staff at the front was rude and violated American with disabilities act on my behalf.
- Jason (4/5): - I didn't like using a virtual check in
- Tonya (10/5): - My son and I had to be in town for a family function. I've stayed here many times over the years, it is my go-to hotel in the area. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable. It's Washington Court House. We don't look for 5 star service, but we are always in good hands here. Will definitely be back the next time we're required to be in town.
- Aigin (10/5): - Very clean and nice rooms.
Good breakfast.
Overall very good for the price
- Beth (6/5): - Mediocre hotel. The stairwells and hallways smelled of mildew. one of our sheets was stained. The shower/bathtub would NOT drain.
- Kristopher (4/5): - This hotel was previously Country Hearth Inn which was more than run down. The new owner has added some new paint and a very few new amenities but a pig with lip stick is still a pig. I guess Days Inn will let anyone be a franchise.
Never again!
- Christina (4/5): Problems - - Had to set up TV with your phone, which we did not do
- Refrigerator was not cold, although freezer portion was solid ice build up
- Bathroom floor was dirty
- No trash can in bathroom
- 2 skimpy bath towels in bathroom
- constant running fan when bathroom light was on
- Light switches were backwards... up was off, down was on
- Lamp did not have light bulb, reception desk said, yes they knew
- Difficult time getting key to work
Positives: Bed and temperature were comfortable
- Nancy (10/5): - Concenient location, pleasant and professional staff and easy parking.
- William (4/5): Outdated bad conditions!!!!! - Very outdated had to switch rooms shower has a hole bigger than my hand in the floor
Breakfast sucked hotel needs repaired bed was ok new room was better but still not in the best shape sleep and move on
- Verified traveler (6/5): It's what you expect - It's fine. It's exactly what you expect. It's pretty clean, it's safe enough. No front desk staff and check in is via some weird remote kiosk. But it works, you can get some sleep, and move on.
- Mary (10/5): - Breakfast left much to be desired and no one was available to check out in the morning. But room was very good and bed slept very well.
- Greg (8/5): - Staff was not available, especially in the am. For breakfast
- Omar (2/5): - They are not responsible
- Amy (8/5): - I booked a suite with jet tub when arrived didn’t get the jet tub room said through you guys I only booked my king bed room when it specified it was a suite.
- marilyn (10/5): Affordable Stay - Good for price. Only complaint was fan had to stay on with bathroom light. Very loud fan sounded like a jet engine. Elderly needed light on however fan way to loud. Evening desk clerk was very helpful and was so nice.
- Javier (10/5): Great place - Comfortable and reasonably priced.
- Joanie (4/5): - Did not feel safe here as I stayed alone. Carpet in my room was filthy. Went to take a shower and no soap. Will not come here again
- Fernando (10/5): - .
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Staff is very nice
- Patricia (4/5): - Clerk was never at the front desk. No hangers at all. Shower door was off the track. Bed was comfortable.
- Patricia (8/5): - The room was very nice. The bathroom was not as clean as it should be. There was mold in the shower along the shower door and around the drain. Also the bathroom fan was very loud. Other than that the room was pleasant and quiet.
- Patricia (6/5): - Booked a two-bed room two months in advance. When we arrived they had given the room to someone else. They put us in a king room with only one bed. My sister and I had to sleep in the same bed. Not happy.
- Charles (10/5): - The property is great! They are being remodeled. The room is really nice and big.
- Leanora (10/5): - Nice hotel! Breakfast bar is minimal
- Amanda (6/5): - The TV was really far away from the bed. When laying in the bed you don't have a direct view of the TV it's in a very awkward place of the room.
- Alan (4/5): - I reserved a ling room with a jet tub. I got a standard king room. I paid extra for the upgrade but got a standard room. The toilet would not flush correctly and had to flush it 4 to five times. The bathroom sink was pulling away from the wall. When I took a shower, the wash cloth ripped in my hands. I will never ever be back to this days inn. It was terribly disappointing
- Verified traveler (2/5): Free Smells of Crap Curry! - Smells like nasty curry...
Renovation was okay but still ran by same people.
All your stuff will smell like garbage curry becuase it is being used as a subcontinent flophouse.
- Danny (10/5): - Great Staff !
- randy (6/5): - Still under construction from previous fire. Parking lot was messy. Paid thru Expedia then got billed a second time after arrival. Called hotel about bill and was put on hold for a long time. I had to call Expedia to get hotel to issue a refund for charging me again for room. They did just get a new billing system so it could be part of the issue. But as far inside appearance the remodel looked nice. New beds tvs,etc
- Lyndi (2/5): Terrible place to deal with - I booked my room through hotel.com and paid for my room. They charged my card and refuse a refund. So I had to pay twice. The guy at the front desk was terrible and didn’t help
- Ann (2/5): - Appeared dirty and lobby furniture was destroyed and unusable. Staff unprofessional and unkept. This property was not appropriate and should never have been advertised for bookings
- Bobbie (2/5): - We didn't stay and I hope I'm not billed for it. It was under renovation and in the halls were machines and tools all over. It had no elevator and I have a bad knee. It looks nothing like what is on the website.
- Zachary (10/5): Just what we needed - This place is pretty basic, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was great. Would stay again.
- Kyle (6/5): - They don't have any breakfast other than a coffee machine.
- April (2/5): Bad - The hotel looks nice from the outside. When I went to check in a man had to wake the front desk person up they have no computers there so everything is done by paper. I was checked into a room, and when I walked in the room, the toilet was dirty the bed was unmade. There were dirty towels all over the floor, my room that they checked me and who was on the second floor there is no elevator, so I had to carry all my luggage Back down the steps to be reassigned another room on the second floor to carry all my luggage back upstairs
- Verified traveler (6/5): 50s flashback - Entire property is in dire need of repairs and upgrades.
- william (6/5): - Like: the staff was frlendly and helpful.
Suggestions: for a posted non-smoking motel the second floor hallway reeked of stale tobacca cigarete. first appearances are important. two different people at the event I attended decided not to stay at the motel due to the broken leather covering on the sofas in the enterance
- Jeremy (8/5): - Comfy and safe
- Samah (2/5): - I never see motel worth than this place . We asked to clean and change the sheets and towels twice
This place hasn’t clean at all
- Brian (4/5): - This place is a dive!! Go far away!!
- Candace (8/5): - Nice young man at front desk, prompt friendly check in . Area is semi country and very pretty. Very good value.
- Ken (10/5): - I had a good stay. My room was clean and no issues. The Country Hearth Inn was the only place under $170 I could find. My money went far and I'm satisfied with my overnight visit.
However, the facility is very outdated, not well illuminated, and the mattresses were laughably bad.
Again, I saved a substantial amount of money and the tradeoff was worth it.
- Damon (4/5): Dont go hear ,, ever !! - Filthy room
Sheets had black spots all over them ,
Clearly no one cleans the rooms good
Cobwebs and ????? All over in the corners and edges
Still have covid stuff up at check in , so ya cant hear anything, and its all sealed up 6/7 ft tall. Employees talking in the hall all night , and live upstairs, making loadddd noise alllllllll night
- Ronald (2/5): - Check-in slow. Room smelled like old smoke and Lysol. floor and remote sticky. No room service, we had to beg front desk for toilet paper. Toilet did not flush. Bee's attack you when going out side door. Juice machine sticky and not working. Coffee machine dirty and coffee was thick and old. No continental breakfast. sink was dirty.
- Brenda (6/5): - Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Needs much updating. Bed was hard, pillows were flat. linens and towels were thin and worn.
- Monica (4/5): - The beds were horrible. Springs were coming through the mattress. No breakfast. It was clean and quiet.
- Gary (2/5): - Got all the way there and they gave my room away before my check in time.
- Charles (2/5): Very unsatisfied - It all started at check-in. The front desk was very unpleasant. The last at the front was very good and disrespectful. When we got to our room it smelled very odd like mold. The AC hardly worked, we had to clean the filters and then it started working. My sister came to visit and no longer they walked in the lady at the front desk called our room and was very rude, saying "I couldn't have anyone in my room because of COVID-19". I would NEVER stay here again even if it was the last place available.
- Linda (4/5): Bad housekeeping - Worst housekeeping service I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I was there 6 days/nights . Had to ask for clean towels/ wash cloths, dirty carpets. Only good thing out of the stay was it was quiet
- Arthur (10/5): - Great price and in a cute small town
- Rosa (4/5): - In dire need of a deep cleaning. Sheets were stained.
- Katherine (2/5): Non friendly hotel - They refused to let us pay cash for another night stay
- Claudia (10/5): - I loved how the sheets and towels smell. Everything was very clean.
- TERRY (10/5): - Room was excellent. Clean and furnished well. If this hotel is rated as a 2-star, than it is a 5-star within that category, and I don't write reviews! Best sleep I got during that 11 day jaunt. If you are visiting anywhere near Washington Courthouse, it is worth the drive to come to this Hotel, and enjoy the peace and quiet of a very comfortable room. I am originally from Greenfield, I live in New Mexico, I came to visit family in London. My name is Terry Gloyd.
- Jason (8/5): - Nice place to stay at a great rate!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice people - Easy check in, good price clean room
- Larry (2/5): Not to nice - My coffee pot had mold in it
- SUSAN (10/5): - The area was clean, facility itself fresh, clean, well maintained. The receptionist had a little trouble finding my reservation (made several months in advance) but she attended me with attention and found my room. All was quiet - just what I needed.
- Amy (4/5): - This property has been neglected by the owners. The furniture in the lobby is very worn, cheap and needs to be thrown away. It is very dark and uninviting! The staff has limited ability to make it a decent experience. Just refreshing the lobby with a fresh coat of paint and getting new furniture to update the look would not cost much. Anything would make a better experience! Just because the cost per room is less than the Holiday Inn does not mean the guest should feel like they are staying in a dirty and uninviting space.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We stayed in two different rooms, as our plans changed. The first was a standard room and it was clean and neat. The second room was a jacuzzi room and it was also very clean. Very nice for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The shower door tracks were bad. Need to spend some time cleaning them
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible front desk person, very rude. We saw a cockroach, didnt clean the room. Real dirty. I wont stay ever again at that place. They need to do something with the front lady person. She is so rude... didnt want to give us a room even if i showed her our reservation info.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not hospitable. Advertised breakfast on list of amenities but when we checked in, not serving even though Covid restrictions lifted. Did not give discount for not fulfilling promise. Clerk got very rude and snippy saying, "You don't want to stay then? I paid $110 in Columbus with no breakfast!" When I explained that the web site listed breakfast as an amenity, then accomodations should be made. Her attitude was rude and condescending. BTW- our next stop in the same state had no problem serving the continental breakfast as advertised. So I am led to believe customers were being lied to and cheated. NOT HOSPITABLE!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our room was clean and the AC worked great. The property has some age on it and the breakfast area was shut down.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No thank you - Front desk had an attitude. Room was dirty, so very dirty. Towels were stained not sure of even clean. They had bed bugs, I checked didn’t see any fell asleep woke up to seeing one. Didn’t stay more than an hour and a half. Never staying there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was average. I got what I paid for.
- Eunice (6/5): - Rooms were small , bed was hard , have paid cheaper price for another hotel in the area , we thought was much better . We stay in the area quite a bit we have family there .
- Melissa (8/5): Good Price for Decent Hotel - Was a quick overnight stay, great price.
- Richard (8/5): Overnight stay during trip. - Room was clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. No breakfast due to Covid - as expected. Many places to eat very close by. Had an issue getting TV to turn on - manager fixed it herself. This hotel is a good value for the money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Pricey and - The toilet seat was up and urine in the toilet, the hot tub made a strange noise and smelled musty. The bed linens were soft but the bed felt like it had a dip in the middle.
- Melissa (2/5): So gross - The shower was absolutely disgusting! I didn’t notice the mold when I first stepped in and started to wash my hair. I turned around and black stuff was coming off from where the water was hitting it. The Indian woman at the front desk was so rude. I was speechless about her reaction and offers. She told me all rooms where like that. The room they switched me to wasn’t much better! So I guess she was right. Unbelievable.
- Chris (4/5): Nasty - Sheets had stains on them and beds were very hard had to change rooms this place has went down hill since the last time I stayed there
- James (4/5): Not worth the money. - The hotel was dirty and smelly. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work it was not a pleasant experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No frills - Clean and no frills. Could benefit from some updates but was adequate for my stay.
- Kathy J (6/5): Second stay - Had a small fire in the laundry room. Had to evacuate for a few hours to let the smoke clear. Otherwise, very quiet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The motel was reasonably priced and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was minimal.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We paid for our evening stay via Expedia. When we arrived, we were charged extra from the Expedia rate. The bathroom door didn’t close. Beds were okay, nothing great. Free internet advertised, but turned off early evening. We were able to eat their breakfast before leaving. I do not recommend this at all.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - A little out of my way, but a decent value moneywise
