  Spacious apartment, with two separate living rooms and 1 kitchens. Ideal for two families. It also has a cheerful gallery that looks out over a characteristic Eixample-style inner courtyard that includes a dinning room as well as a nice corner with a large desk that is perfect for reading and writing. It also has two characteristic Eixample-style balconies that bring in plenty of light and overlook the famous Modernist buildings and exuberant life in the neighborhood. It has three double rooms with double beds, a room with bunk beds perfect for adults and/or children and three bathrooms with shower. The apartments are decorated to be warm and cozy with designer furnishings and are full of lovingly selected little details designed to make our guests feel at home.

• Azmeh (9/5): Idyllic - The set up and ambulance are charming. We were very comfortable. Everything is clean and gleaming. A few logistical issues - doors are very heavy for a disabled person, the kitchen tap is loose. And my toilet didn’t flush properly.

• Aine (8/5): Wonderful time, only small criticism would be maybe have details of buses etc that take you to centre. - Nice quiet location We had initially problems with lock on apartment door, but it was our fault we were not used to using an email link to open apartment door and were also unsure which door was our apartment.

• Emily (6/5): Good size apartment close to restaurants BUT needs a good clean - This is a big apartment close to facilities and sites but needs a thorough deep clean. We booked the day before and even though check in was 3pm, we didn’t arrive in town until 5. I had to message the property via WhatsApp, booking.com & email from 4pm until I heard back at 4.30. The cleaner wasn’t done until 5! No explanation just that the unit wasn’t ready. It smells of sewerage in the foyer and in the apartment - particularly in the third bathroom. There are two toasters and neither of them work. Washing machine is mouldy. You get old dishcloths for the sink. And the shower soap holder was still dirty and full of dregs from last tenants. Most things. Read above. It needs a deep clean and reviewing of appliances. Mould in corners of all showers. The stench of sewerage is foul.

• Laura (8/5): - L'appartamento veramente grande con 3 bagni finestrati, la grandezza delle appartamento che accoglie comodamente fino a 9 persone. La posizione nel quartiere tranquillo e pieno di locali. Abbastanza vicino alla metro. I termo arredo dei bagni 1 e 3 che non funzionano e quando esci dalla doccia hai freddo. Manca un po' di cura, le prese staccate dal muro non si possono vedere. Serve un piccolo restauro.

• Cam (8/5): Great location but check-in was rush and stressful. - We like the location. It was close to many restaurants, shopping and attractions. We did not like the check-in process. It was confusing, stressful to try to input all the travel documentations through a third party site and host was only available via text.

• Paula (10/5): Wonderful apartment in a great location - The staff at the restaurant next door were very friendly and great about storing our luggage since we arrived so early. The apartment is spacious and well stocked, clean and comfortable. The showers were amazing, great water pressure and hot water, for those of us with long hair, this matters :) I didn’t expect the bunkbed room to be so small and we had to use the second living room for luggage

Fantastic service to have lovely restaurant downstairs where luggage can be stored. Had a lovely meal and coffee there also. Nothing.

The apartment is located in a residential area where a lot of good tapas places are within 20mins walk distance. Overall fabulous stay. N/A. Bring your own detergent though if washings are needed

The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped, The location is perfect, in a great neighborhood full of restaurants and cafes and grocery stores, and in walking distance from main attractions and a subway station. Some of the equipment is a bit run down (but fine)
• E.t. (5/5): Big appartement but inside looked old and things were broken - The size of the apartement. It is really big. The apartment was really big but sorry to say that furtermore we were disappointment. The money we spend was quite high and not everything was good for example: Couch - leather was thorn apart. Seeling at front door is hanging down. Dishwasher wheels are damaged. Fridge door misses shelves for bottles. Frontdoor outside digital link was not working during our whole stay. For the money a visitor has to pay, I would really suggest update and clean the apartment for example new sealant grout in bathrooms and make corners and holes clean and repear everything.

Small space.Kettle very small and not suitable for 6 people. The phone app system to access the apartment block front door failed to work on arrival and on our 3rd and last day which caused us issues as we only had 1 back up key to share.

• Sophie (7/5): Lovely apartment, just a few niggles that need sorting - would stay again without children/when the children are a l - The layout and size of the apartment was great, and was perfect for the kids to run around in (without worrying about stairs etc!). The location was also really good, and was close to the metro! It was nice having a balcony on the front, and it was nice to sit out in the sun. We also liked not having to worry about a key, so having an app to unlock everything was handy. The lift wasn’t working which wasn’t ideal when we have two toddlers, two prams and luggage to carry up to the third floor. Also the glass tables were a nightmare as they were perfect head height for the children and would’ve done some damage if they had hit themselves on them. Some of the amenities didn’t work (dishwasher had an error code, so the fan at the bottom wasn’t spinning) or were so dirty we didn’t want to use them (the kettle was covered in limescale so we boiled the water on the hob).

• Lucy (7/5): It was fine, good location - There was a door code and it was in an email that I hadn't read. I rang the owner and she directed me to the email. I had to faff around a bit, should have read the email properly before I had arrived. It's a bit fiddly, but worked fine.

• Janice (9/5): Superb - The apartment is really beautiful and comfortable in nice building. Location is very convenient with cafes, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Cristina was nice and responsive The Tv don't work for the 3 nights we were there. Something to do with internet connection and messages in Spanish. When I informed Cristina, she did send someone to check the next day but didn't manage to fix the issue though. In the room with bunk bed, the bed was a lil squeaky when climbing up and down the bed
• Napapas (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is in a quiet area but walkable to the attraction or the metro. There is a small elevator to carry the luggage to the apartment which is on the 2nd floor. The bedroom is small but there are 2 living rooms so we have enough space for our luggage. The host allowed us to store the luggage at the restaurant close to the apartment after check out this is very helpful. They did not give us the shampoo in the bathroom, only soap that is available.

Many fantastic cafés, bistros, supermarkets, buses and metro close by. Good communication with the host, but did not meet her. The remote locking system worked, but an old fashioned key would hv been preferable.

• Stuart (10/5): Genuinely one of the nicest apartments I've ever booked and stayed in. - It was very easy and felt secure. Apartment felt secure and could only be opened near it. Instructions given via message which outlined the necessary steps to enter the property securely even when the first link did not work. The door was very heavy and at points felt like it wasn't opening well or at all. Reliance on phones to open door is fine for the younger generation but a key for the older generation would be easier.

• Yermek (5/5): Not what we expected - We liked the location as it is easy to get to major attractions. The property wasn't clean enough. The facilities are old. The apartment is large, but there are 2 kitchens which are redundant and in both of them there wasn't even a normal kettle. There are no windows in rooms where sunlight can go through. The furniture is worn out.

The property oozed with charm & over looked a communal court yard,it is located in the heart of everything, yet really peaceful. We loved it! A clothes dryer would be useful.
