kwok wing (10/5): - Excellent staff who are very helpful. The room was not big but it’s sufficient for one big and one small luggage to be fully open. It’s perfect for a short stay and it’s very comfy. Love that there’s lots of natural light in the room. There is a nice roof for us to enjoy a lovely afternoon.
COLIN (4/5): Surprised - The place was very cute, clean and centrally located, but... We arrived at 5:20 pm which was 20 minutes after the reception closes. It is called Vita & Bar which made me assume there would be a bar open into the evening, but that is not the case. Check-in is only from 3-5pm and then everything is closed. We received a code to gain entrance to the building and our unit. There is absolutely no parking nearby which was problematic for dropping off our luggage. The email we received for self check-in indicated we could receive a deal on parking, but didn't tell us where that parking was located. Needless to say, we chose a parkade that wasn't the correct one. Access to the building and unit has a large number of stairs to climb. We are fit enough that it wasn't too much trouble, but I could see others having a lot of difficulty! There is no mention of this anywhere. The unit itself is very cute, but very small. There literally was no place other than on the bed to access our open suitcase. Again, the unit had a great location and was very cute, but does not deserve a 9.4 rating, in my opinion.

Krista (10/5): Amazing - It was a wonderful stay! Staff, accommodations, location, service were all impeccable! If you are planning a trip to Granada this boutique hotel is charming and personable! Breakfast, even though it was for a charge, was well worth the Euros! Make sure you take your breakfast in a box up to the terrace. We were able to have them hold our luggage and still enjoy the tarraza for the afternoon before we went to the train station. If I were to ever come back to Granada I would definitely stay here! Wish I was staying for more than one night!

Nina (8/5): - 7/10: Clean, Convenient, but Be Aware of the Stairs and Limited Hours I recently stayed at this hotel during my visit to Granada and overall had a positive experience. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. It’s in an ideal location—very convenient for taxi pick-up and drop-off, and less than a 10-minute walk to the central part of town. It’s in a quiet area too, so I was able to get a good night’s rest. However, a few things to keep in mind: the hotel is located near stairs and inclines, so if you have mobility issues or cannot walk up hills, this may not be the best choice for you. Also, there is no elevator on the property, which could be an issue for some guests. Another thing to note is that the facility closes at 5 PM daily, so there’s no 24-hour reception or access to the property after hours unless you’ve made arrangements ahead of time —each guest has a unique access code to get in and out. Despite these limitations, the hotel was perfect for what I needed during my trip to Granada. If you’re mobile and don’t mind the early closing time, this is a great, clean, and quiet spot in a great location.

Coffee & Orange Juice was fabulous & breakfast is a good option, IF you are in a pinch on time. Walked 7 minutes to join guide for Alhambra (bus was option, too). Highly recommend!

The only downside was the rooftop closes at 8 which is too early but they do it to be considerate to the locals. We only stayed one night. Would have liked to stay longer but we were on the move. Love the little touches like nice bathroom toiletries and lollies being left after the room was made up. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the city, make sure to go up. Hotel is well located, only a 10-15 uphill walk to the Alhambra (Google Maps is incorrect as it will tell you longer) and 10 minute walk in to the centre of town. The hotel is located up a few steps, cars can't drive up to the front of reception so keep this in mind if you have large luggage etc. Overall loved my stay, would definitely return!
Shahzad (4/5): - We booked here based on the reviews and stunning photos of the hotel and its decor. It looked very homey and yet extra interesting from the pictures online. We booked the standard double room balcony tower for 100 euros a night. So let's start with the staff and location. Both are excellent. It's only 10 min walk to Nuvea Plaza and around the corner, you can catch a flamenco show. On the same street is a very trendy cafe where you can get breakfast for about 7-10 euro per person... mini bus stop is only a 5 min walk. Now the Alhambra is surely 15 min walk away, however it's a very tiring uphill walk for the average person who isn't very active and used to walking uphill and taking lots of steps up hill. So keep that in mind when you learn that it is only a short walk away. By the time you reach Alhambra on foot from this hotel, you'll likely be out of breath, and it could take about 20-25 min based on your stamina. Therefore, the ease to getting to Alhambra on foot is really dependent on the person. You can cab it or take the mini bus as well which is probably what we should have been advised to do by the front desk staff. Staff were all kind and pleasant. The front desk gentleman was nice enough to grab our laugage from the car and take them up to our room, up many flights off stairs to room 8. No elevator here.. so that was very kind and appreciated. Remember there is no car park near this place so we dropped off our laugage and then returned our car to the renta

The room itself was quite small and narrow but absolutely fine for a short stay. Even though we faced the street, it was very quiet and the blackout blinds meant we slept very well. Excellent location for visiting the Alhambra and for walking into the city centre.

Daniel (10/5): - The stay was beyond expectation and we found the accommodation unique, rustic, stylish and comforting. A late arrival meant that there was no front desk to check in. Extremely thorough instructions were provided instead and to our surprise, we had received an upgrade to the best room on the property. When meeting the staff the next morning, they were extremely polite and welcoming, providing ample information when asked for guidance. The staff were extremely friendly throughout. The atmosphere is relaxed and I did not for one moment, miss that I wasn’t staying at a larger hotel. This felt more personal and there is no shortage of great places to dine and shop, in the area. I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to the wonderful city of Granada. Highly recommended!

Jana (10/5): - It's in very convenient distance to walk to the Alhambra, but slightly away (like 10-15min walk from the city center). The room was not super huge, but since I was alone it wasn't an inconvenience. The bathroom was spacious, so it was a shame the shower was rather small and with the placement of shower battery it left little room to manoeuvre within the. The breakfast was rather lacklustre with mostly store bought packaged pastries and not much variety. But staff was very nice.

Decorated very cute and comfortable with plenty of naturally lit seating as well as a gorgeous roof patio (only open during the daylight hrs). The host was super friendly and spoke English with us. He made great recommendations in the area and we always liked forward to his greeting and smile. The breakfast was a great deal and you can take it upstairs to enjoy on the rooftop. They made excellent coffee as well. Note there is no host from 8pm-8 am. Highly recommended. Hasta luego!

The only concern I had was there's no window to outside and hard to circulate fresh air. I will come back next time to the room with better ventilation.

The location is superb as you can walk directly (although steep!) to the Alhambra. The rooms also have little touches that I appreciated such as a kettle for making tea. In a great area with a perfect local coffee shop just around the corner, lots of things to do (worth exploring the side streets), plenty of places to eat, and the Alhambra just a 15 minute walk uphill but also accessible by bus if hill is too much gor uou.

Olga (10/5): - El hotel está muy bueno para gente joven pues los taxis no suben hasta la puerta del hotel pues está ubicado en loma con escaleras. La localización es perfecta para subir andando hasta la entrada de La Alhambra y fácil de llegar a las diferentes paradas de bus. La atención del personal estuvo muy buena. El desayuno muy completo, incluye jugo de naranja natural, jamones quesos y buen surtido de panes y frutas además de un café muy bien servido!! Aunque nuestra habitación era muy pequeñita la cama estuvo muy cómoda y dormimos muy bien.

Kate (10/5): - The Vita & bar was so adorable, we loved the rooftop bar. It was so incredibly quiet at night! The front desk attendant was very helpful. Thank you so much for a great stay!
Charles D (10/5): An unexpected delight in a land of wonder - Six hours before arriving at the hotel I received an (international) call informing me that there was a problem with our room and asking me if a free upgrade was OK. Although nervous and suspicious, I agreed and thanked the caller. The call was legitimate and our room was wonderful. The hotel itself was excellent and noteworthy, but what made our stay exceptional was the host, Jaider (I hope I have not massacred the spelling of his name). He seemed genuinely pleased to see us every time we entered the lobby and his exuberance was contagious enough to get us bounding out the door eager to climb the steep shortcut to the Alhambra. My only regrets about our stay are not making the time to get to know Jaider better and for waiting almost 2 weeks to write this review.

shohreh (10/5): - Staff and service were excellent and helpful, the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The roof balcony were very nice during the evening or when the weather is not hot. They have prepared wooden trays for guests to take their foods and drinks with them to the roof balcony even food from outside of the property. The only thing that everyone needs to be prepared in Granada is the long stairs and steepy roads in historical places
Verified traveler (8/5): Do not pass up on this hotel! - Perfect location, so quiet in a bustling city. Check in so fast and helpful showing us on a map where the walking routes were etc. So close to the Alhambra which reception/ the owner helped with showing us a more direct route to walk to as Google Maps gets it wrong. Only one thing about the room was that the floors, being white marble, showed a lot of long black hair and as two males with cropped hair it was clear this wasn’t ours. Other than that the stay was perfect and couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Madeleine (10/5): Great Location & Breakfast - We loved Rooms Vita! When we arrived they were so friendly, and knowing we were traveling awhile, they gave us a glass of fresh squeezed juice while checking in. Great location and walking distance from the Alhambra and restaurants and shops. We added on breakfast both mornings of our stay and they have a great assortment of things. Coffee and lattes were delicious!

Yuyeon (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay here! Our room had a rustic vibe was but was very clean and staff here go above and beyond to meet your needs. The place is also beautifully decorated with plants and rooftop has an amazing view of the city. We were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast as they make you fresh cup of coffee/latte and omelatte/bacon and have a good variety of healthy choices. Overall, unique stay that matches the vibe of the city and would highly recommend!

Jacqueline (8/5): - Really nice staff! Good breakfast. Hippie/flea market decor might not appeal to everyone (lots of plywood). Weird smells in bathroom, but the customer service made that less of an issue.
