- Bachoua (10/5): We stayed in this place. We took all four rooms and it was pleasant. Just wish I was a little closer to some of the city - Was cleaned every day of the week that we were there. Great host decent location. I wish the mattresses were a little softer
- Bruchata (9/5): Very good location, clean room, nice and friendly personnel. - Tichá lokalita, dobrá dostupnosť na vlakovú stanicu a MHD, pešo do centra asi 40 min. Veľmi príjemné a čisté prostredie, klimatizácia, raňajky - balený croissant, muffin, džem, káva, čaj. N/A
- Martin (8/5): Very good - We liked how the owner met us in person & gave us all information. There is a communal kitchen & some small things for breakfast. We were allowed to store our luggage which was very helpful & much appreciated. It is a small room but was sufficient for an overnight stay.
- Karolina (6/5): Pleasant - The owner was very friendly and helpful, responded quickly. The location is pretty good - there is a train station nearby. The breakfast selection was very poor.
The shower was small and uncomfortable.
The window wasn’t soundproof at all - especially during the night it was very noisy.
- Mazhar (8/5): Very good -
- Krisztián (10/5): Very good! - Hospitality, helpful staff and cozy and very clean room. Close to public and train transportation. For my taste, just the breakfast was too sweet. I would prefer a little bit more variety. A little bit noise from the street.
- Natalia (7/5): Good - A pleasant accommodation im a very convenient location. Recommend for a short stay on Rome. :)
- Izzy (7/5): Good -
- Johari (10/5): Great location for a short stay: convenient, clean. Great host! - Conveniently located.
I had asked an extra single bed and there it was with plenty of towels.
Clean and functional room, ideal for short stays There are stairs that do not make easy to get in the apartment. It’s not a big deal as the apartment is almost at the ground floor, but still a point when you have several luggages.
- Jean (10/5): Clean and comfortable, in a nice neighborhood. - The location is amazing. It is not in the center of Rome, but it is near enough to walk everywhere. Trastevere is a lively neighborhood, you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, cafés and bars.
Sabrina, the host, is incredibly kind and helpful.
The best place place to stay.
- Tanushree (8/5): Very good -
- Natalia (9/5): Superb - The host was very friendly, you are just near the railway station Roma Trastevere and 20 min by foot from Trastevere. Room is very clean and you have a coffee machine and tea kettle in the shared kitchen Breakfast was very industrial
- Shiv (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mario (9/5): Superb -
- Efthymia (9/5): Superb -
- Badhan (7/5): Good - The host was very nice and room was clean. Breakfast was okay. There is Internet, fridge and you can make your own coffee at the kitchen. Only downside was that the room in which I stayed was very small.
- Nikulina (5/5): Passable - I didn’t like the separate kitchen. And the exact time at which you need to check-in, and not at the time of check-in.
- Jesus (10/5): Easy check in, friendly staff, clean, and comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here. - The place was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was comfortable. Easy to check in and when I had any questions I got a response quickly. Also close to the train station, which was great!
- Veiko (6/5): Pleasant - the location is good. there is a super restaurant across the street, the train station, shops and cafes are nearby. there was no ventilation in the room, i.e. it smelled of dampness. breakfast is not what you expect in Italy. Long-lasting packaged products and coffee capsules, tea.
- Tahmina (6/5): it's okay - very basic but good comfortable bed
breakfast - there were enough of them shower was extremely small.
also you could have put either crib or sofa not both.. the room became so congested that it was difficult to walk around. also you should have sent someone who knows english ... it was difficult to communicate
- Migena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was in a very central location, clean and comfortable. Also, Sabrina was very kind and always reachable. Great!
- Byale (7/5): Good - Room size . Bathroom was very very small for me but most of the European hotels have the same issue and checkin timing was not flexible aprat from that everything was good
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional - Sabrina was a great host! She helped me to get to the place as there were issues with the train to Trastevere. Also provide me valuable info about a public transport strike in Rome, which helped me to arrange my itinerary. NADA
- Donald (7/5): It was worth the price and staff was nice and understanding - Location had good access to the train and buses. Good places to eat within easy walking distance. The graffiti outside on the building was just hard to ignore and that seem to bring down the whole experience.
- Laurent (5/5): Passable - Breakfast
- Howard (7/5): Just what we needed. - A no frills room with a perfect location for our requirements. No fuss check-in and a friendly welcome. The room was ground floor so it was also easy to access. Use of the kitchen and facilities was also provided making our stay easy. Small problem with the toilet not filling. The shower is extremely small but fine for a short stay. A little noisy since the room is on the main road but that is normal for Rome.
- Maria (4/5): Disappointing - Bad.Wouldnt recommend it.Doesnt worth the money. We ve asked for the luggage room and the owner told us to leave our things either in the kitchen which is unlocked, or to take them with us.The neighbourhood is dirty and the transportation not well.
- Mayaka (9/5): Superb - • they offer you free welcome snacks and fill everyday
• the staff gave me a useful map with his writing
• near to train and bus stations
• air-conditioner works very well • if you are gonna check-in after 8pm, you have to pay 25€ extra. Honestly it’s a lot but everything else is ok.
- Trifena (8/5): Very good -
- Jade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karin (1/5): Bad - NOTHING and it is not recommended to go there unless you are a poor student maybe and do not care where you sleep.
Niente! Nada! Aber auch überhaupt nix! Eine einzige Frechheit!
We frankly doubt this is a legal business. The worst experience ever! As frequent travellers, we have never had a worse experience - not in Aisa, las Americas nor other European places! And this is from all the criteria you can think of. The details on the booking.com site do not really apply. This is not a hotel, not even a Guest house - it is a shared flat you get a very basic room in.
The entrance was hard to find and no one there at the agreed time. We were lucky to find some other person helped open the general gate to a huge building site with 4 blocks. At the respective block D, the name is not indicated on the door bell signs outside the building and you can only guess the bell that belongs to the flat. The state of the flat is poor; the bed was nearly falling apart. The room was narrow and it was noisy from outside during the night. You enter the flat into the basic old fashioned kitchen.
To get an invoice, we had emailed the details and the owner of the flat promised to hand it to us at check in, but in fact we had to ask and phone and email several times to get it: We only got it because we then went back days later again at a time that the owner forced us to be there then. Just incredible.
This might be a basic place students go to, but no grown up or business traveller will be happy there. Frankly speaking, to our mind this should not be included in booking.com.
- Geoffroy (8/5): Very good - Good location, near the center of Rome. Fast wifi connection, the owner is really kind and helpfull. The cleanliness is top ! Just a little more space in the shower would be perfect.
- Adalberto (8/5): If it wasn't for the shower, I would stay again. - Bed was very confortable and room was clean. Shower was extremely uncomfortable due to its TINY size, and I'm not a large person.
- Beatrice (7/5): Good - Very basic room, with own bathroom and a shared kitchen. The bed was comfortable, and overall a pleasent stay. The best of this booking place is the location, the Trastevere train station is literally a few steps away and there are bus stations all around within 3-5 min walk The breakfast is not so a breakfast, it’s better said a snack, at least for those who are not italian. Coffe/tea, biscuits, an (almost) croissant and some toast and jam. Worth mention that the croissant and toast are not freshly made, they are packed ones from the supermarket and left already in the room for the next morning.
- Abdelkarim (8/5): Overall great place to stay in. - Great place to stay for couples or a pair of friends. quite calm and near the center of the city. Had a hard time with the shower for being too small, but overall it works just fine.
- Massimiliano (8/5): Very good -
- Rosalind (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- MICHAEL (4/5): - We were not advised that this property required one to have access to a phone in order to contact the caretaker. We had no phone, no wifi, consequently poor access into the main building, into the property's building, or into the guesthouse commons, or the room. The caretaker messaged us to ask when we would arrive. We informed her that we would arrive at 5pm. It was 5:45pm before she showed up, after my wife went around the whole neighborhood looking for wifi to try to contact her. When she finally showed up her first words were to blame us and insinuate that our message "we will be arriving at 5pm via train" was ambiguous. She intentionally didn't come at the right time, perhaps because others have shown up late. But the fact is, we were there on time, and she was not, and she could have made things better by simply apologizing, not half apologizing and blaming us. If we had known this was a "non public" access place we would not have chosen it. Expedia's listing needs to be updated to specify that the property requires communication with the caretaker to even get in. It is not a hotel type establishment. Never, ever again will I stay at this place, and it has made me way more cautious and dubious of Expedia listings.
- Elizeth (10/5): - 5*
A simpatia da sra e sua cortesia foi espetacular. Facil ir ate Roma nos autocarros.
- Krasimir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krista (9/5): A lovely b&b in a good location :) -
- Ivan (9/5): Great location and host in la Lupa - The location is great very close to the Trastevere Train Station and close to Trastevere's restaurants, the host is great, supportive and helpful, she checked for us the available trains to Fiumicino and gave us valuable advice regarding bars and restaurant area! It is very hot in the bedroom so the air conditioning worked properly and it was very important to open the window to refresh the room.
- Áron (8/5): Very good - The host was really helpful and kind. The place was in a quiet corner of Rome, but not that far away from the center. The breakfast was pretty poor (only sweet pastries)
- Marion (8/5): Nice stay at La Lupa! - Sabrina was very nice and available, very responsive too if you need anything. The premises (the room and common areas) were very clean and you have everything you need for a short stay in the flat. Location is also quite good within 30min walk to the city center. We had a nice stay and recommend it. The breakfast is pre-packed croissant, orange juice and cookies. Coffee was good though!
- Stamatis (9/5): Superb - The location was very good, especially if you are traveling with a car. The room was clean and the owner very polite! The breakfast was poor.
- Patryk (8/5): Very good - * coffee express
* well equipped shared kitchen
* Sabrina (host) is a cool person
* room getting cleaned everyday * localisation - you have to be prepared to either walk for 30-40 minutes or go by the bus to the city center
* cleaning service left the door to our apartment open once ;_;
- Roberto (8/5): Very good -
- Simone (7/5): Good - -location
-very clean -extremely small shower.
- carlos (8/5): short staying - just be aware that this is a bed and breakfast place. I had difficulty communicating to host to inform any changes. due to I had no phone service at rome. overall it was pleasant. thanks
- Patricia (10/5): - Sabrina was an amazing host! She was always accessible and often at the property. Room was nice, very clean and we were never disturbed by any other guests. Very close to tram and bus stop.
Very pleased with this stay!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr nett empfangen und uns eine kurze Einübung gegeben. Welche Bahn wir ins Zentrum nehmen sollten, etc.
