• Lisa (10/5): The perfect spot to explore Piemonte - Communication with our wonderful host, Alberto, was excellent. He helped us find tickets to the Alba Vinum 2026 festival, met us with open arms when we arrived, recommended restaurants, and made us dinner reservations for our first night in Alba. He had a great map of the area, which he reviewed with us, which was very helpful for planning our outings to Barolo, Barbaresco, La Morra, and Monteforte. It was very nice to have parking right at the apartment. The location is very convenient - lots of restaurants within walking distance. Alberto even had the fridge stocked with snacks, fruit, and morning coffee/milk. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had comfortable, big beds. It is exactly as pictured on the booking.com website. The most memorable meal was at Osteria Moderna, right around the corner. We also did Truffle Hunting and Cheese, Truffle & Wine Tasting near Alba (booked via Viator), which was fantastic. It ended with a wine tasting in Monteforte at the wine shop with the most engaging and knowledgeable owner. We ended up shipping a case of wine home! We stayed 8 nights, and there was plenty to do in the area. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Alberto!

• Douglas (10/5): Great BnB in the centre of Alba. - Alberto and Daniela were amazing hosts who made us feel welcome and could not do enough to make our stay special. The property is well appointed with comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast room in a great location just a short walk to the main street. The continental breakfast was very good featuring home baked breads and pastries. The parking is a bonus making it easy to head out for day trips. Nothing.

Alberto, the host, is the best host ever. He helped us with everything we could have wished for. He is the most genuine host taking care of us like a family.

He treats his guess almost as friends and goes out of his way to assist with any concerns or issues guests may have. In years of International travel, we have never had a more helpful and friendly host, pre and during our stay in Alba Alberto was exceptionally helpful and always friendly. I'm not sure there is anything that could be improved. Alberto was a mine of information, he was a tourist guide, booking agent (getting us much better prices for truffles hunt etc) and a fabulous ambassador for Alba and Piemonte in general.

A good base and a lovely spot to return at the end of the day from touring nearly vineyards and t - The property is in an excellent location (short walking distance to the historical centre). Alberto keeps his property in top condition. Rooms are generous in size, ample wardrobe space, comfortable beds, full bathroom amenities - absolutely a gem find for us. The best bnb that we have encounter in our 15 years of travel. It is almost impossible get a parking space in alba within the historical cita and Casa Angese has the added advantage of a car space which makes this air bnb priceless!! Absolutely nothing.

Roomy modern bathroom, excellent storage & secure wifi which many other accommodation providers don’t provide. Good breakfast including lovely homemade pastries. For those with a car secure onsite parking. Only a 5minute walk from train station. Alberto very engaging, providing good information & fine restaurant recommendations.

• Timothy (10/5): Perfect stay for seeing Alba! Why stay anywhere else?? - Perfect location. Quiet yet central. Easy walking everywhere. Spotless and comfortable. For breakfast, plenty to eat. Fresh fruit and fresh (home made??) danish, all nicely laid out. Alberto was there and helpful with coffee and any extras required, like gluten free bread for my wife. He happily toasted what she asked for. More than enough! In particular, Alberto, our host, was exceptional in making sure every aspect our stay was enjoyable. He checked the restaurants we booked, and the tours we had planned. He went way our of his way to ensure everything went well. He seemed to sincerely care that we had a good time - and we DID!! I cannot fault our stay, but the beds could have more comfortable sheets (wife's comment!)

He picked us up at the train station the day we arrived in Alba, and helped insure that our plans in the area didn't have any hidden issues. The room was quite large, quiet, and very comfortable. Breakfast was filled with more homecooked food than we could eat. If you are travelling to the Piemonte, this is a really good choice. Three thumbs up!

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable apartment with a great attention to details (such as the hair straightener and specific hair towel in the bathroom, the maps of the city in the living room, the chocolates and torrone on the kitchen table, and fruit juices and fresh fruit in the fridge). The apartment was fully equipped. The host, Alberto, was very kind and helpful. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

Unequivocally, this was the best of our stays and would highly recommend.
• Lisa (10/5): Perfect location, great innkeeper, spacious rooms. - Great location. Alberto was wonderful! so informative. Arranged dinner reservations and transportation for us. Nice breakfast. very clean, well kept rooms. Be aware the rooms are up several series of stairs. nothing
• Sandy (10/5): Fabulous apartment in central location - We stayed for 2 weeks in the Casa Agnese apartment. Alberto and Daniela have added a private apartment to their b n b. They are experienced hosts and provided a well equipped, immaculate apartment with private, secure parking right outside the apartment entrance. The apartment is in a central and quiet location within an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with its own AC and heat unit as well as very comfortable beds. There is a private bath next to each bedroom with a walk in shower. there is also a living room. The kitchen with a small dining area and has everything you need to cook a meal but while in Alba we ate out most meals. There is strong WiFi in the entire apartment even in the lower level bedroom. Alberto, the host, assisted us with reservations and was available all the time with quick responses.
• David (10/5): probably the best B&B I’ve stayed at - location is brilliant. Room was exceptionally comfortable with everything we could need. Breakfasts were superb. Alberto was an amazing host; a goldmine of information and so helpful! nothing
