Rooms also very spacious with good air conditioner, had an amazing view of the pool. It is a shared space but the whole property remains peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very accomodating and relaxed. Breakfast was delicious, and we were able to hang washing out and the host called a taxi for us to get into town. I would definitely recommended staying here if coming to Siena. nothing :)

The location is very convenient to Siena escalator which gets you to the city center fast . Beautiful view of Siena and lovely gardens The room was very small in spite of getting a standard room. Also a guest was smoking in a room close by and that created a problem since our room smelled. This was not a fault of the hotel management but there was no one to complain to at night !

(To enjoy this property and day trips to sienna a car would be a must). A lovely property that is beautifully maintained.

La chambre exposée au nord-est etait très froide. Pas de possibilité de monter en température , peu d’ouverture. Les températures fin septembre étant fraîches, je conseille une polaire ou vêtements chauds, Le petit déjeuner étant à l’extérieur.

• Mark (10/5): Old world charm, comfort and hospitality - with a stunning view - View is stunning; Pool was bracing (end of September) but looks out over the city; breakfast was magnificent. Has lots of old world charm, while being very comfortable and perfectly situated. The walk to the Campo takes about 35 minutes (with a hill) but perfectly manageable. And our hostess was very helpful and accommodating - and had lots of suggestions for places to eat both inside the city and in the country. It might not suit you if you want a thoroughly modern place to stay. But its an exceptional place to stay with a strong sense of history and an ideal location in terms of accessing Sienna and its sites without a car.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns mit vielen wertvollen Tipps , Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten u. s. w und mit einem wunderbaren Frühstück am Gemeinschaftstisch, verwöhnten. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden bei einem erneuten Siena Besuch gerne wieder hier übernachten! Nichts!

Das Frühstück ist das beste Frühstück, welches ich bei allen Italienreisen bekommen habe. Es handelt sich überwiegend um selbsterzeugte Produkte aus dem Garten und der Region und das schmeckt man. -

Frukosten var trevlig vid ett stort gemensamt bord och god mat, mannen på hotellet ordnade en riktigt bra kaffe! Poolområdet var rent och fräsch och det märktes att de tar väl hand om stället. Vi vill åka tillbaka redan nu!

• Chloé (6/5): - Podere La Strega è una bellissima struttura, ideale per una coppia, è tutto molto romantico. La vista su Siene dalla struttura e dalla piscina è straordinaria. L estate la piscina è un vero "plus", nel giardino, perfetto per un relax in due. La titolare che gestisce il B&B è una persona molto a modo e disponibile. La struttura purtroppo non è per niente adatta a soggiorni con bambini piccoli. Il condizionatore della nostra camera era difettuoso, tante zanzare e formiche in stanza. Buona la colazione anche se servirebbero qualche porzioni in piu.

• Radovan (10/5): It makes the impossible possible. You can reach the center of Siena with ease and still enjoy peace - Exceptional location with stunning views of Siena. The hosts are incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to offer helpful advice and recommendations. We stayed in a newly renovated detached house overlooking the city skyline, which was beautifully equipped and very spacious. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need, including a dishwasher. The house also featured an excellent sound system with high-quality speakers and an amplifier. We greatly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation, while still being just a short walk from the town centre. -

• Dorothee (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf Siena - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön gelegen außerhalb von Siena. Es gibt einen schönen Pool mit einem herrlichen Blick auf Siena. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, hat uns viele Informationen gegeben, auch für gute Restaurants in der Gegend und für uns dann auch einen Tisch reserviert. Das Frühstück wird draußen von ihr und ihrem Mann liebevoll für alle Gäste an einem großen Tisch angerichtet. Das fanden wir richtig schön. Unser Zimmer war schön eingerichtet im Shabby Look. Nach Siena fährt man mit dem Auto 8 min, auch hier gibt die Gastgeberin Informationen für das parken. Wir empfehlen das Podere la Strega gerne weiter.

• CHRISTOPHE (10/5): 3 nuits en couple à Sienne - super séjour - Tout était parfait : propriétaires adorables , emplacement et piscine exceptionnel, bâtisse d’époque , petit déjeuners très bons et copieux …on reviendra ! rien
• Karin (10/5): Eine Oase der Ruhe und Entschleunigung in wundervoller Lage mit Blick auf Siena - Die liebevolle Ausstattung in Haus und Garten sucht seines Gleichen. Der Garten und die Poolanlage sind sehr gepflegt und bieten eine traumhafte Sicht auf Siena. Das Frühstück wird mit sehr viel Liebe von der Wirtin und ihrem Mann bereitet und mit allen Gästen an einem großen Tisch eingenommen, so dass man schnell ins Gespräch kommt, wenn man das möchte. Auch die bei der Ausstattung der Gemeinschaftsküche und des Aufenthaltsraum fehlt es an nichts. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und stehen ihren Gästen zu jeder Zeit zur Verfügung. Es gibt nichts, was uns missfallen hätte.
• Hannah (10/5): Stunning hotel with amazing views of Siena - Absolutely stunning hotel. Our stay here was perfect and we can’t wait to go back. This is a family run hotel and you get that feel as soon as you walk in. The grounds are breathtaking and the pool has more than enough room for guests. The rooms have an old Italian villa style to them but are very clean and comfortable. There is also a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. Breakfast is delicious, home made food by the family. The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere so is very peaceful but would recommend getting a car to get there. Siena is about a 20 min walk down hill but would recommend a taxi back. Would definitely visit again

• Sophie (9/5): Magnifique vue sur Sienne - Superbe podere avec une magnifique vie sir Sienne. Joli accueil de la propriétaire et de son mari. Très belle maison, jardins et piscine. Sienne est atteignable en voiture en 10 minutes et aussi à pied, par un certain de 1.7km que nous n'avons pas testé. Déjeuner sur une grande table avec les autres convives. La propriétaire nous a aussi conseillé plusieurs restaurants, à Sienne ou dans les alentours. Les deux qu'on a testés étaient très bon, l'un bon marché en campagne et l'autre plus cher à Sienne.(Osteria da Divo) , 2 styles différents Lit un peu dur pour moi mais pour les autres membres de la famille étaient contents. On reviendra avec plaisir.

• Bernard (9/5): Parfait - Vue de la piscine sur Sienne magnifique, gentillesse des propriétaires, le calme Chambres très agréables et beaucoup d'espaces partagés, que ce soit en intérieur (salons, cuisine) ou en extérieur Le lit manquait de confort. La route pour accéder au gîte est à double sens alors qu'il n'y a pas toujours la place que pour 2 voitures, heureusement peu de circulation. Les restaurants sont un peu loin pour manger le soir Le jus de fruit, comme partout en Italie

• Aidee (9/5): Beautiful hotel with amazing views and breakfast - This is a beautiful historical building with incredible views of Siena from the pool area which is also lovely. The husband and wife who run it are so warm and friendly and make an amazing and plentiful breakfast. Location is great with a 25 min walk to Siena or a 7 min drive to a good car park. Our room wasn’t the best, we had what was I think the only ground floor room and it didn’t have much natural light so was a bit dingy but luckily didn’t need to spend much time in there so wasn’t a big deal

• Aicha (9/5): - L’emplacement, le lieu est superbe, une vue incroyable sur Sienne !!! Encore plus beau que sur les photos. Attention à ne pas choisir la chambre 2 lits simples car la chambre n’est pas à la hauteur de l’endroit. Prenez donc une autre chambre pour que votre séjour soit réussi
