- ivelin (10/5): That was a proper vacation relaxing and energizing. - Very well maintained clean with a great garden and view. It,s a little far from the city center, the good thing is that there was a public shuttle until 18:30 and the host gave us a ride after that.
- Janice (10/5): Our stay here was amazing and the proprietors were so gracious, helpful and kind! - The property was beautiful! Gorgeous views, amazing lemon trees and various foliage, was very cozy and well kept. It was so quiet and peaceful. A fantastic place to relax and unwind. It’s pretty far from the town center, but the bus stop was nearby. It’s a bit of a steep walk up and down the hill, so if you have mobility issues it could be a little challenging. We needed the exercise after all the delicious food though.

- Molly (6/5): We had a great time during our stay, the location was the worst part. Stay here for an authentic Italian experience with - A very beautiful property, lots of good spots to take pictures and a beautiful sunset view. The hosts are INCREDIBLY kind and cleaned our room for us and always made sure we were good, they also let us leave with some oranges and lemons from their trees. The location is incredibly inconvenient. It is on top of the mountain in a private area so taxis will only take you so far, and then you must walk up the rest of the way. A taxi from city centre is 40 euro to get up to the mountain. You must walk to get anywhere, up and down the mountain, unless you want an expensive taxi and still walk. The beds were not very comfortable. Cell service and WiFi is also not great.
- Leo (7/5): - Salvatore and Anna were very helpful and kind. Salvatore was awesome he picked us up from town at 9.30 pm a couple of times and dropped us off the train station.
Just really nice people..
It's a beautiful house with awesome views and great gardens. the location difficult if you have no transport.
- Maria (10/5): Beautiful Italian experience in Sorrento !! - It was beautiful and specially the warm welcome and help during our staying from Salvadore and Ana!!
We highly recommend VILLA IRMA - it’s only minutes away from town but there’s shuttle near by
A complete and lovely Italian experience 💜💜💜
- Nia (7/5): Beautiful little villa however not central as advertised. The hosts were lovely and facilities were clean. - It was a lovely stay. The quietness was nice, a the facilities were clean for the price. The hosts were lovely but do not speak English well so google translate will be a good help here:) The location is up high in the mountain so unless you hire a car or a Vespa you will need to walk 30 minutes to centre and it is quite steep. Cost us a decent amount in taxi fares to get back home. Good location if you’re looking to chill.
- Shchuplova (9/5): - We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful villa in Sorrento! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed – from local recommendations to small touches that made us feel right at home. This place truly has a magical charm. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning location with a host who genuinely cares about your experience – this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

- Gołębiowska (10/5): - Przemili gospodarze i życzliwi.
- Santulli (10/5): -
- Lekova (10/5): - The place is very beautiful on the hills of Sorento with amazing view to Vesuvius, Sorento and the sea.The house is big with a nice and comfortable rooms and bed. It was cleaned every day. The hosts- Salvadore and Anna are always helpful. There is no supermarkets around, but there is a nice restaurant with tasty food and in reasonable price.
By car or bus tt takes just 5 minutes to go down to town from villa Irma. The place is a little far from the town centre and up to the hills so it is difficult without a car. There are some buses but the last one is at.18.30. But host always took us after that time when we asked him.
- Evgenia (3/5): Poor - Clean, comfortable We spent 2 days in Sorrento where we stayed at Villa Irma.
The hosts were not only unfriendly but I would say rude as there was a mix-up with the keys on the day we arrived.
Of course they didn't even offer us a glass of water on the day we arrived!
They didn't give us any directions on where to go.
It was obvious that all they cared about was getting the money.
However, the room was clean with its own bathroom and balcony.
- Erald (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything abt this villa
- Plunkett (7/5): Good -
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Fidias (5/5): Passable - Far away from the center
- Diaz (10/5): Exceptional - Anna was very nice, it was a little hard to communicate since they only speak Italian and a little bit of Spanish. But she tried her best to communicate which I appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the A/C was perfect. Anna was very pleasant and always asked for anything we needed. She took us to the train station which was very nice of her. The only thing we didn’t like was the location. It was like 10 min drive. When we got sorrento through the ferry a taxi charged us 35 euros. So we didn’t want to spend a lot of money on taxi so we rented a moto. Which was the perfect idea. So if you go there I would recommend renting a moto.
- Fiumara (8/5): Very good -
- Ramirez (9/5): Great views. A bit far from centre. - Lovely hosts and beautiful views. It’s a bit far from the centre and tricky to get to without a car.
- Lily (5/5): Passable -
- Janice (10/5): Lovely b&b in Sorrento - The hosts Ana and Salvatore were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us! They had a beautiful property up in the hills and our stay was great value for money compared to other b&bs in Sorrento. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Nothing!
- Dylan (10/5): Great stay - Great stay, it was a good stay for our Sorrento experience. We really enjoyed it. The bus only comes every hour, but that’s fine. We had a car and there was parking on site. We really enjoyed our stay here!
- Camila (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing views Wifi didnt work, lack of privacy because the rooms are really connected to the main house, you need to have a car and some of the pictures shown are not a common area (they are the guests house and you cant use it)
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Hosts, Salvatore and Anna met us with cold water when we arrived. Lovely people - extremely helpful. Room clean and tidy, with nice balcony. Shame the shuttle buses don't go more regularly - it's quite a hike up the hill to the accommodation
- Carole (5/5): Passable -
- Gould (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were very helpful and hospitable and the location, having a car, was perfect
- Stephan (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): a nice place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the center of town - this is a very nice place open in the hills of Sorento. the owners offer a shuttle at night from the main part of town that is very convenient and there is a public bus that takes right down to town.
- Lauren (5/5): Relatively inexpensive, inconvenient location, seems clean, very basic - We could tell they take good care of their villa and take a lot of pride in it. The owners drove us home one night since it’s far from town, which was very kind. Our room had a balcony where you could see the water. Should not be advertised as close to the water or close to the town of Sorrento. Yes, it may be close distance-wise, but it is up a steep hill that many taxis refuse to drive up, and the bus stops operating at 6:45pm/only picks up every 2 hours. Makes it really inconvenient for a leisure traveler. The bed was uncomfortable, and only had 1 sheet as a cover. There was an extra blanket in the closet, but we didn’t know if it was clean. We slept poorly. Also advertised as a bed and breakfast, felt more like a home stay.
- Dimitar (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and very nice, very comfortable bed. The hosts was extreamly nice. Good location, bit far to walk, but close to local bus route which made it easy to commute to Sorrento Centre.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Good Location, bit far to walk, but close to Local bus route which made it easy to commute to Sorrento Centre, Hosts we're extreamly nice and helpful towards booking tours and excursions and even dropped us to the Train station our day of checkout.
- Mark (10/5): Villa Irma doesn't disappoint - Anna and Salvadore were the ultimate hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. When the shuttle for our Amalfi Coast tour didn't arrive, Salvadore drove us to the Port! He also dropped us at the station when we left.
The view was spectacular.
Very comfortable bed and very clean facilities.
It was a great walk to town with stunning views, that took us through some cute laneways, but was a bit too far for us up the hill going back.
It was a short taxi ride though, which was fine. Taxis are very easy to get.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Donal (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - We love the owners, they are so kind and go out of their way to make your stay amazing!
- Helen (6/5): We liked the hosts very much but many things were missing- no tea or coffee, no iron, no toaster, no duvet or blanket, o - Clean and comfortable- quaint and quirky Too far away from town and taxis expensive
Basic accommodation
- Zoriana (10/5): Exceptional - The Villa is wonderful , the room is so comfortable. We had a wonderful view of sea. The owners are amazing. They helped us with recommendations of places and picked us up .
If only they had breakfasts and dinners , I would never leave this place No meals included (
- Lauth (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property and the owners were very sweet and accommodating. They recommended wonderful, authentic restaurants, Le Colline di Sorrento and Restaurante Da Filippo. They had a lovely breakfast and Anna's homemade lemon marmalade was delicious.
- Kane (10/5): The hosts were amazing! - Nice property with nice garden and views. The room was was very nice, very comfy bed with very good air con. Was a little far away from main centre but we got a free pick and drop off from bus station in town which was great. Walk isn’t too far, good views on the way.
- Liljab (6/5): Far - The room is lovely and with fantastic view. Peaceful, beautuful. Nice owners. This is far away. Distances are not true; put at least 2 times more. Walking up to the hotel from bus stop needs heavy work. Last bus comes 18.30, so forget the dinner in town. The local bus was'nt in time either, can't rely on it.
- John (7/5): Great place to escape the congestion of Sorrento, quiet and comfortable, with car parking. - The house was lovely, rooms well air conditioned, pretty balcony, comfortable bed and accomodation. Rate did not include breakfast. We asked for breakfast next day and owner accommodated us with a simple, continental breakfast. Acceptable, not great. Beautiful views of Sorrento as we were high in mountains. Once you get the hang of it, the driving is acceptable once you get the feel for the conditions. Hosts were gracious and friendly. Difficult to find, difficult driving (mostly turning around), house was lovely, but outside area with lovely gardens, but the exterior upkeep needed cleaning. Because of the location -away from town in mountains, breakfast should always be provided.
Sorrento is picturesque but very difficult to drive and turning around considerable challenging.
- Laura (3/5): Poor - We arrived earlier than expected and could leave our luggage until the room was ready.
The location has free gated parking. Easy to get there by car/ scooter - have in mind is up the mountain. The room has no wifi, if you want to use it you have to be outside by another's guest room door. Humidity in the room - towels would not dry and they only changed them once during the week. The check-out information says at 10.30 but on the same day we received a message at 8:30 that we had to leave the room at 9:15, after telling them that we paid until 10:30 they came to the room to make sure we were leaving at 9:15. After that, they asked us to give them a 10 rating on booking if we liked it, and if not, not mention anything... Quite disappointed with their customer treatment.
- Doyle (9/5): Superb -
- Beryl (4/5): Not recommended - Compared to other properties I have visited through Booking.Com it was a big disappointment. The hostess did offer us three lifts to the station which was 4 km away - that was very kind and most appreciated. Poorly kept and poorly administrated. The explanatory advertisement for the property was deviously exaggerated, e.g. 1,3 km from sea, transport close by, etc ….
- Consue (10/5): The best guesthouse, peacefull place and lovely room. - The views from the terrace. Quite far for the center and few means of transportation.
- Aislinn (4/5): very far from town with expensive taxis to get to the Accomodation. misleading photos. expensive for what it is - The apartment was clean, and the location had beautiful views with fresh lemon trees on the property Room looked nothing like the pictures, we booked a room for three adults and one of us was on a tiny broken camping bed. the photos were misleading of the actual place. the shower had lukewarm water (was quite cold at times). I wasn’t going to leave a negative review as I don’t like to do that to people, however, on the morning of departure, I received dozens of phone calls and texts (not very nice ones) from the owner and also she reported me to booking . com for taking her remote for air conditioning. we of course did not take the remote. I found it very rude and unnecessary as we had only been gone about an hour before all of these persistent messages phone calls and a report. the room was incredibly damp and the bed felt wet at times due to this. the weather was quite rainy when we were there but when we woke in the morning water would be dripping down the doors and windows and the tiles were quite wet in places. we were there four days and not once did we get clean towels. we left the room one night (it’s high up in the hills and quite dark in the area, so we left a light on). we returned and the light had been turned off, meaning the owner had gone into the room and turned off our light which I found a bit odd. to top it all off, on the morning off departure I received a message saying that unless I was going to give her a ten star review, do not leave one at all!
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brianna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sebastian (4/5): Not what we expected - The bed was comfortable and the room had a small balcony. The place allowed dogs. We missed having access to something as simple as a kettle, since my wife got sick and we could not even make a cup of tea (had to ask the host several times, but did not feel very comfortable).
Although the place is supposed to be dog-friendly we felt that our two small chinuahuas were not very welcome (we could not let them walk on the property due to the fact that they had their own dog which was very protective of the area).
- Sabine (8/5): In general it was a good stay! - The property was located not too far from a Belvedere which was at about 5-10 minutes walk. The view was simply spectacular! The house was lovely! The inconvenience was that we had to go on the patio, a floor down to get Wifi and I would suggest to have a car if you stay there. It would be more practical!
- Alberto (10/5): Excellent - The peoples Everything ok!
- Alexandra (10/5): Great place - Amazing place with very nice hosts, they were welcoming and kind, and their house and garden are lovely! It’s a quiet area, feels a bit like countryside with nice view and the room was very clean and pretty make sure you have a car if staying here, or you love hiking uphill
- Manasi (8/5): Very good -
