- Erwin (7/5): Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Saubere Unterkunft und ein schöner Innenhof. - Die Unterstützung des Personals war hervorragend. Alle waren freundlich und bemüht. Wir konnten 2 Restaurants die vom Personal empfohlen sind ausnutzen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse wodurch der Strassenlärm ziemlich laut ist. Durch gute Fenster wird der Strassenlärm aber abgeschwächt wodurch wir trotzdem schlafen konnten.
- Brian (10/5): Wonderful stay at Dimora Archimedea! - Firstly the staff were wonderful and helpful in every way. Breakfast was yummy and prepared when we came out of our room and sat down. The location of the property was excellent, right next to the Greek Theatre, further from Ortigia. Our room was wonderful also with a private and spacious rooftop patio. Veronika was a great resource and helped us maximize our trip by recommending locations and restaurants. I mean, if this property was located on Ortigia it could have been better. lol. Seriously, some of the guest slammed their doors in the morning, which woke us up and a few times. Getting into the property and parking can be a challenge due to the small amount of space.

- Pickering (9/5): Dimora Archimedea has bags of character and is a delightful choice - If you want somewhere slightly quirky and bags of character then Dimora Archimedea is a delightful choice: great staff, well organised information provided for restaurants, cultural venues. Next to the Archeological Park which is well worth a visit and many other sights no more than a brisk walk away. Good room, well appointed. It was fine for us but the Queen room may not be to everyone's liking - it's on two floors with access to the bathroom via a VERY narrow spiral staircase. Great fun!

- Marcello (10/5): Dreamy and romantic stay on the border of an archaeological site - This is a truly beautiful B&B in Siracusa located next to a large archaeological site, parts of which actually enclose the Dimora itself. We stayed in the Melograno Deluxe Double Room for four nights. This is a two-layer structure with a bedroom on the ground floor and a large bathroom downstairs. The connecting spiral stairs are steep and narrow, which may be challenging for older or particularly large people. The room is well-equipped. We had excellent breakfast on the central terrace with a beautiful view of ancient walls. We traveled by car, and the excellent internal parking is a real asset too. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return!

The location across from the archeological park was perfect. The drive to Ortiga was only 5 minutes. I thought this was the perfect place to stay. The breakfast was perfect as well.

Gazda extrem de caldă ne-a dat informații prețioase despre locurile unde urma să mergem. I-am urmat sfaturile si bine am făcut! Personalul discret și cu foarte mult bun simț.

The house has a beautiful garden, full of greenery and shade, where you can really relax and enjoy the summer breeze even on hot days. Inside, everything was spotless — very clean rooms, fresh bed linens, and a well-equipped fridge with everything you might need. Our hosts were extremely kind and welcoming; they even waited for us with a smile although we arrived late at night after our flight. We also really appreciated the free stay for our baby. They provided a spotless and well-prepared crib, which was perfect for our little one — his very first travel bed, and it worked out excellently. We were very satisfied with our stay and we would gladly come back again.
- Lukas (10/5): - Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Schöne Unterkunft. Einzige Verbesserungsmöglichkeit sehe ich darin, die Tücher öfters zu wechseln. Alle 3 Tage ist etwas selten. Sollte schon alle zwei Tage erfolgen. Ja es gibt die Möglichkeit, die Tücher öfters wechseln zu lassen. Jedoch gegen Entgeld. Was etwas merkwürdig oder knausrig rüberkommt. Auch wenn der Betrag dafür sehr tief ist.
- Julia (9/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. - Die Gastgeberinnen sind super freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Das Frühstück und die Dame, die es zubereitet, waren ganz wunderbar. Das Anwesen und unser Zimmer waren sehr schön, liebevoll gestaltet und sehr sauber. Wir fanden auch die auf dem Gelände lebenden Katzen ganz charmant. Für Personen, die gerne mit offenem Fenster schlafen, ist die Lage direkt an einer lauten und stark befahrenen Straße nicht optimal. In unserem Zimmer gab es mehrere verschlossene Durchgangstüren. Auch dass ist sicherlich nicht jedermanns Fall. Und nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber etwas nervig: der zur Verfügung stehende Föhn kann nicht im Bad eingesteckt werden. Deswegen muss man sich im Zimmer (ohne Spiegel) frisieren.

- Anna (10/5): Esperienza positiva e ripetibile ☺️ - La struttura è molto bella e ben curata, in posizione suggestiva perchè posta all’interno dell’area archeologica. Gli ambienti sono confortevoli ed ho particolarmente apprezzato la pulizia e la gentilezza dello staff. Complessivamente molto buona la colazione ma la torta del giorno non mi è sembrata proprio “del giorno” forse del giorno prima, comunque c’è ampia possibilità di scelta. I cuscini sul letto erano molto duri e gli altri, probabilmente più morbidi, erano custoditi dentro l’armadio all’interno di una busta, avrei gradito che fossero entrambe le tipologie messe sul letto per una maggiore garanzia di igiene, quindi non li abbiamo utilizzati nonostante abbiamo trovato scomodi quelli più duri.

- Nishma (10/5): Lovely spacious rooms - Accommodated our large group very well. All rooms were very spacious with good ac, fridge, living area, big shower space. Shower leaked from the cubical.
- Alasdair (10/5): Very enjoyable. - Attentive staff in a very pleasant b&b. Having breakfast or sipping a glass of wine in the courtyard was very enjoyable. It was as advertised with no negatives. However, a small plunge pool with a few loungers could make the the experience even better.
- Jiri (9/5): Very neat place to stay in Siracusa in close proximity to the Greek theatre archeological site. - The proximity to the archeological site is the greatest benefit. Room was very clean, spacious, airconditioned. Whole hotel/pension site is in great shape, beautifully refurbished. The personnel is very friendly and keen to help.

The interior, the communication before and during our stay, the breakfast options, the cats, the cleanliness and safety. We struggled with the A/C. The venue gets very hot so it is indispensable, but it left the air very dry.

- FABRIZIO (5/5): Bellissima la struttura, ma stanza molto al di sotto delle aspettative (e del prezzo) - La struttura, intesa globalmente, è davvero molto bella e suggestiva; lo staff, in primis Valentina, si distingue per gentilezza e capacità di ascoltare il cliente. La struttura si trova sostanzialmente accanto al teatro greco. La stanza "Mandorlo" presenta alcune criticità a mio giudizio degne di nota. In primo luogo, per la mia sensibilità personale, ovviamente, ho trovato la stanza abbastanza buia, avendo solo due piccole finestrelle che, a causa delle zanzariere, non possono essere aperte del tutto per far entrare pienamente la luce (o almeno io non sono riuscito a farlo). Il bagno, un pò stretto a dire il vero, non ha, inspiegabilmente, il bidet e ha pareti senza piastrelle che, per quanto suggestivamente evocative delle rovine greche che circondano ed impreziosiscono la struttura, non rientrano per nulla nei miei gusti (ovviamente personali).

Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit!

- Mark (9/5): Excellent, stylish B&B convenient for exploring Syracusa - Valentina and her team looked after us very well. Fluent English speakers and strong on pre arrival communications. Stylish property near city centre and about 1.5km from Ortigia. Very convenient for / adjacent to the archeological park, which is well worth visiting. Lovely terrace area screened from the busy road by the house. Everything here has been thought about and works efficiently. Advice about exploring and eating is provided. Delicious breakfast. There is limited on site parking, which can be arranged in advance with the team. Otherwise there is parking locally. Our room was small but comfortable. Would definitely return if we found ourselves in Syracusa again. The convenient location necessarily means that it’s close to busy roads. But noise levels fell back by bedtime.

Tolles Zimmer mit perfektem Bett und liebevoll persönlich zubereitetem Frühstück auf einer sonnigen Terrasse. Unübertrefflich ist die Herzlichkeit des Personals, das in jeder Situation wertvolle Tipps parat hat. Vielen Dank, Sebiana und Valentina und das nächste Mal in Sizilien kommen wir wieder zu Euch! - Florian (10/5): Villa mit Herz! - Diese Villa mit Geschichte ist ein wunderbarer Ort um syrakus zu entdecken! Die Hosts sind super lieb und hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück wird auf Bestellung zubereitet und ist qualitativ sehr gut! Parken kann man direkt und einfach an der Unterkunft. Es war wunderschön und es ist wirklich eine kleine Oase in der sonst recht wuseligen Stadt!
- CARLOS OLIVEIRA (10/5): Sentir-se em casa em Siracusa - A casa, do principio do seculo XX é linda. Mas o mágico mesmo é a área do patio onde foi servido o café da manhã. Com resquicicos arquelógicos e um belo pátio . O café da manhã é uma expereincia espetacular. Além disso a equipe dos serviços e atendimento são muito agrádáveis, simpáticos e extremamente atenciosos. Proporcionam uma experiencia de alto nivel em Siracusa. A cama do meu quarto poderia ser de 160 cm . Uma Queen. Seria mais confortável. O quarto apesar de ser uma antiga garagem tem um espaço interessante. Alem da cama, eu diria que a escada helicoidal que dá acesso ao banheiro é muito estreita.

The property is very clean and well located. It’s within walking distance of several nice attractions. The traffic on the street in front is busy and so entering with a car can be stressful. Otherwise we liked everything.
