The hot tub hasn’t worked for over two years and the pool is empty and filthy. We picked this hotel expecting a soak in the hot tub. Please amend your marketing.

But although the website and sign on road and guest information book in room states the spa is available between 4pm and 10pm we were told at 6:30pm that the people in spa atm were the last ones and we wouldn't be able to have a spa. After we challenged this decision several times we were told at 7pm that we could have a spa for half an hour if we hopped in now. Website, road sign and guest book also state sky tv is available... this is not true there is no sky tv

• Elizabeth (8/5): Family space in Levin - A large, clean, comfortable room with kitchenette and dining table. Decor a little tired but all facilities provided. Beds were very comfortable but the traffic was noisy during the week nights and a couple of trains go through. Have stayed before and would stay again. Convenient to town, supermarkets, takeaways etc.

The room had ants in it and they got in everything.my daughter had a tooth set out for tooth fair which was though out.

• Rolly (2/5): If you’re a train lover you’ll really like this. - The train practically drives thru your room. Wakes you up so you can enjoy the 1970s decor. Plenty of mood lighting in the room from the street lights that creeps in around the door which doesn’t really fit the hole it sits in! Then there is the bed that your partner can’t get away from you on. Love that roll together. Lights didn’t work in the kitchen so I couldn’t see how small the sink was. YouD have issues washing a sherry glass in it. The shower area so small I could close the door without turning sideways and I’m not fat. Your rating of 4.3 out of 5 was a gross mis-representation. The next person visiting this establishment should be driving a bull dozer.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Overnight in Levin - Traveling at short notice to Wellington. We made the booking about 3pm, arriving in Levin after dark. Check in was speedy, lovely big room, very comfortable bed. There was quite a bit of traffic noise, and possibly train, until about 10.30, but we slept all night. Service was great, even when we rang after we got back from dinner and couldn't start the gas fire. Clean, comfy and friendly, would stay again. Waitress and shopkeepers all friendly and helpful too, well done Levin.
