- Jason (10/5): Nice and secluded - It was a nice quiet place. We would go back again. Make sure if it is cold outside that you read the binder to learn how to properly turn on the heat! It was nice having a hot tub in your room. They send you a door code so no there is no checking in there.
- Roger (6/5): Very Disappointed - Our initial opinion was favorable. However, after our first night as we were adjusting the sheets we noticed the linen was soiled/dirty. The shower screen/pole was not attached and fell when we first opened it. The light socket under the TV, when I pulled an electrical plug out...the entire electrical box came with it. The bracket holding the TV still had dirt/dust on it from when it was installed.
- Gary (2/5): - I had a terrible time on arrival. I thought I was fully”checked in” when I reserved the room. On arrival no one was around to give me my room key. Called the emergency number, left a message never got a call back. Went to MacDonnels got connected on my IPad and found message with the room number to get in. Got inside and jacuzzi was running, and running for 1 1/2 hrs as it is right next to the main room and TV had to jac up volume concerning since after 10 PM. Tried to shut it off but off switch locked behind the side service door of the unit. I found the maintguy next day and he shut it off and vacuumed up a large infestation of bugs on the sink and adjacent surfaces in the kitchen. The front door had to be slammed to engage the lock. Wanted to raise up the heat but Could not figure out how to do it. Would be nice to see instructions but the welcome book had little. Considering the $ Ispent for a night I think a 1st nite refund is in order.
- Kaitlin (8/5): - The area is secluded, quiet, pretty clean. There are small things you notice here and there but no deal breakers. We have been there the last 3 years for honey moon and anniversaries and haven’t ran into another person while we were there even when the parking lot was full. The price is fair for the accommodations.
- Lindsay (2/5): Mediocre - Entry way into the rooms smelled like mildew, and entry into the room was greeted by musty and mildew smelling air which was only penetrated by the even stronger smell of chlorine from the hot tub. The dishes had brown water on them from the previous wash, and the hot tub was only used for less than 30 minutes because the amount of chlorine used became irritating. For the amount spent, it will not be one we return to. Much was left to be desired and improved upon.

Not worth the money. Was really hoping it was premium but it's kinda close I guess.

Beds very comfortable, nice clean room with a balcony, an area out back of the property near a small lake/pond with gazebo and area out back with chairs to sit and have a fire, quiet and beautiful surroundings feels very feels and looks so expensive. Cons for us were not having staff on site when we couldn’t locate notification with our door code. Also our room was very hot and shower never got hot. In hopes of it was dumb luck we would go back and try again. We had a very wonderful and romantic weekend!
- Verified traveler (4/5): PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING !!! - No front deck service at ALL. I got locked out of our E-mail, I had to have someone go to our home to send the code to get into our room. Tried to contact them threw the contact ways with no response ! The place was dirty, The chain that flushes the toilet was broken, and the water pressure was VERRY LOW. The rest of the room is maybe average. The cost for two nights was $500. One would think for the way there add read it would be a great place to stay ( IT WAS VERRY DISAPOINTING). We will never stay @ one of their establishments AGAIN!!!

- Dennis (10/5): - The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a hot day and the AC kept the humidity down and was perfect for sleeping. Hot tub was perfect and very clean as well. Plenty of towels with a clean bathroom and shower. We were in room 3 and all around perfect experience.

The only thing we did not like was the hot tub in the room was full of grit or sand and we were looking forward to relaxing in it The chlorine in it was strong enough our eyes burned in the room for awhile.

- Michael (6/5): Room 15 - Very clean and spacious. Hot tub was great. Numerous wall outlets not working or in very poor condition. A number of lights not working. I was under the impression that it had a stove and refrigerator. Got to the room and no stove and a very small mini fridge with a mini microwave. And if you desire ice bring a cooler with ice because there’s no ice on the property. Probably won’t be a return visit.

All these things add up and seems owner just not interested in taking the care to make the improvements. If it was priced reasonably could overlook but it is overpriced . Beautiful location but needs work.

- Mandy (10/5): Peaceful couples getaway - The check in process is a nightmare if you have never used a service like this before. However, the room was amazing! It was a very nice couples getaway. The hot tub in the room was excellent! It is a short drive to all of the shops and hot spots in Nashville.

- Kenneth (10/5): - The property well maintained. I especially liked all of the tv apps and having access to them. I was shocked to see pandora was also included. Even though there is no front desk a host reached out to us. She shared her number and hours just in case we needed anything. Definitely would recommend staying here.
- Kelly (2/5): I’d give zero stars if I could! Do not recommend!! - Do not stay here!! We didn’t even stay and left after being there for not even 10 minutes. While the hot tub in the room concept seems nice the smell in the entire building is nauseating. We both had a headache after a few minutes of being in the room due to the chemical smell of the hot tub chemicals and there is no ventilation in the room unless you open the balcony door which isn’t practical in the middle of December. There was what appeared to be dried blood on the top corner of the bedding comforter which was clearly visible when we walked in, we pulled back the bedding to find long dark hairs in the bed, it looked like the bedding was never changed from whoever stayed there prior. There was no front desk to get assistance and no one answered the number they claim you can call. We left and didn’t stay and they refused to give us our money back. Do not waste your time or money with this place!!!

The ladybugs were terrible around the corners of the room but we were warned about this before coming and they let us know they could have someone come and vacuum them up if they bothered us, which was nice. This is something that comes with the time of year. The hot tub was very nice and clean as well as the rest of the room. The bed wasn't the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, however, the sheets and blankets were super soft and warm unlike most hotels you stay at. The couch in the room was also super comfortable and big enough for someone to sleep on if needed. We were in a room that walked out to the back of the building. It has beautiful landscape and had it not been raining we would have taken more advantage of that amenity. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend it to others.

Apparently there were two weddings going on but we literally saw no one on the property all weekend. It was like we had the place to ourselves. We will be back guaranteed! Our only complaint, which isn’t even their fault, is that you are completely off grid in Nashville. We had zero reception- but in many ways that was a good thing, too! I only point that out so people are aware when they go there. Thank you, Yellowwood!

- Winter (6/5): - This facility was well situated and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was kind and welcoming. The only drawback was the water damage, the damp smell and the heavy chlorine smell in the room and hallway. Having a hot tub IN each room is good in theory but not very practical if not well planned out with consistent air circulation. There was noticable and long term damage to the baseboards, ceiling and walls from humidity, leaks and/or spills. We also had the misfortune of having our wall AC steadily leak onto the carpet and wall. A few repairs, the installation of dehumidifier and air filters in each room and a few other adjustments would have given this room a very different score as the setting amazing and the privacy is second to none!
- Joyce (6/5): - The hotel was clean and the hot tub was very nice. It was definitely very private for a couples weekend. The bathroom was very small, it was not comfortable to use at all. For the price of the visit, breakfast should have been provided every morning. The parking lot needs fixed and better lighting from the road to see where to turn into the hotel at night. Overall it was a ok stay , not great though. I plan on staying at a different hotel next time i visit.

- Jeremy (10/5): Diamond in the rough! - This place was a little gem located only a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville, Indiana with all of their cool shops and wine tasting. We loved it! Who doesn't like a hot tub in their very own private room!!!

- Chelsey (4/5): - Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant stay here after our wedding. We had a TERRIBLE rotten egg smell in our room that overtook everything. We wanted to stay and relax but, couldn't get ourselves to even stay in the room due to the smell. I emailed the property to let them know and haven't heard anything back. For the price you pay for one night and especially for such a joyous occasion, I would have never expected this to happen. We couldn't wait to leave in the morning as the smell was so bad it was making us sick. Unfortunately, do not recommend at all.

We unfortunately unknowingly ended up drinking them throughout the night. #barf We woke up with them in bed, and everywhere else. Room dirty, had someones bobby pins all over the floor. Had a mini split heat system....That did NOT work. We called. We were there 2 nights. It was cold. Couldnt even use the hot tub because it was freezing in our room.

There were ants and a few mouse droppings in the morning which is not to pleasant but aftershave you are in the woods. That wouldn't stop me from going there again

Immaculate room, beautiful hot tub, windows overlooking the courtyard garden. The courtyard was gorgeous we sat out there had a glass of wine, then wondered around the property only to discover a large pond with beautiful flower arrangement, fountain, chairs and a deck needless to say we spend time there as well. We will be back.n

- Amy (2/5): - We had a horrible experience. It started with the whirlpool tub. After being in tub for 15 minutes, must of had reactions to whatever was used to clean it. Eyes burning, coughing, etc. Shower had no water pressure at all and took over 10 minutes to even get luke warm. Whirlpool tub had no steps to get in it...had to use small step stool. The lobby of the rooms had a very wet, moldy smell. We left at 530 am due to coughing, eyes burning in room. Immediate relief when leaving the property. Fear of mold.

- george (8/5): - The only problems were: No safety bars in the bathroom for us old folks, and the tree limbs were hanging down over the walkway. In dry weather the limbs probably wouldn't be a problem, but when we were there it was raining almost non-stop and the limbs were hanging low.

Big tv but with no place to view except a couch at a 45 degree angle. Heating and cooling system didn’t work very well. Outside bench was filthy with overgrown vines. Price was too much in relation to value. With more attention to detail this could be a real find!

Would have liked to have seen the fountain in the courtyard functioning and maybe some of the wysteria trimmed back on balcony so you could sit out on the balcony. Pond was nice and overall access to the property was nice. Would go back. Visit was for couple getaway.

- Hope (6/5): - Large, spacious room and very private overall! Comfy bed too. However, having NO WIFI was very disappointing as I had no cell service in this rural area and couldn't go online at all. The shower curtain rod was rusty, the freezer in the mini fridge was caked in frost (to the point you couldn't use it AT ALL), and there was a broken leg on the couch causing it to squeak loudly when getting up or down from it. I liked the check-in process (completely online, no human contact at all), and the property was gorgeous. It's just those little details that bothered me - I probably wouldn't stay again just because there was no WiFi.
- Kendra (6/5): - Not worth the money! It was clean-ish, just don't look behind hot tub and curtains. The room itself was not the greatest, especially for the price. You can tell where they tried to upgrade, but still needs lots of work. Toilet did not flush, outside area was not very nice, needs some work. Just frustrated because we wanted to have a nice romantic weekend but we spent most of the time away because the room was not as nice as promised, definitely not worth the price we paid. It has such great potential!
- Nicolas (6/5): - I enjoyed our room. It was comfortable and the but tub was nice. Provided a nice weekend without the kids. I didn't enjoy that the walls are very thin. For an inn geared towards couples having a romantic getaway, I was hoping not to hear everything the room next to me was doing. When my husband called the inn keeper there was no reply, which it was 1am, but no follow up the next day on the issue. Our 2nd night was quiet so it is possible they contacted the other guests without our knowledge or just a coincidence. I would stay here again but choose a different suite.
- Lisa (2/5): - The room was disgusting. Hair on everything, stained on comforter, couch was gross. We called to have someone at the very least change the bedding. Three different calls where they took our number but never called. I waited until 11:00pm before deciding to sleep on top of bed in full street clothes. The pictures don’t show half of this. I will say after a fourth call the next day, they changed out our bedding. If we had any other options we would have left but all surrounding hotels were booked due to IU events and big football game. I paid for two nights but got literally no sleep night one.

Half of it had a bed and a couch a little smaller than a love seat with a small side table. The other half was a large bathroom. The place that had the toilet was very small--a little claustrophobic. The carpet squares they used to create the floor of the bedroom were shifting. The outlet covers for half of yhe outlets were loose. The key code to get into the main building was not included in the email sent with the key code to get into the room. Positives: privacy, not far from the Nashville shopping area We wouldn't stay there again.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Loved that it was such a quiet, peaceful place. The hot tub in the room was definitely a bonus, but if you are prone to feeling sick from chlorine, would not recommend. A screen added to one of the windows or doors would've helped to ventilate. The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. They were having a sewer issue from another guest flushing something that should not have been flushed, so the smell was overwhelming outside the room, but not inside. Our wifi didn't work, but was fixed when we called. We ended up changing rooms to #6, and it was even better than #10 we thought!

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Located in a beautiful area but the room was awful. Black mold around the hot tub plus it didnt work properly. Also, black mold in the shower. The air conditioner would not cool the room. The sheets on the bed were put on sideways. The grounds were not manicured at all. Dead grass/plants around the courtyard. The fountain didn't work, water was filthy and paint chipping off all over it. A lot of the lights around the walking path were pulled up out of the ground. It definitely wasn't worth $230.00

The only issue we encountered was we did not get the room we reserved online and the room we stayed in had an awful smell but you adjust within minutes to that smell. I was disappointed that I reserved a specific room and didn’t not get that one. I spent a lot of time looking at pictures online and picked the perfect room for us. The room we had was nice and I loved having the hot tub right there!

Something with a red color was splattered on the white door trim by the refrigerator . The carpet needs to be replaced looks very old and worn . I would suggest replace it with the same floor as the bathroom . There is a common area with a fireplace this room smelled damp and musty (need a dehumidifier )Bathroom was very nice and updated . There is a great space outback for bonfires , weddings or relaxing it has a nice view . Over all not a bad place , just needs some attention to cleaning detail and updates .

No fireplace and the hot tub was located in the bathroom. We stayed cold all night because there’s no explanation on how to use the controller for heat. Smells like an old nursing home

- Deana (10/5): One night retreat - My husband and i just needed a night away. We spent a few hours strolling around the shops then headed to the hotel. Parking right out front. No check in desk, they emailed me a door lock code for our room. We let ourselves in and made ourselves comfortable. The room was nice and clean. We had a little patio looking out on the pond where the weddings are held. It was a little cold to sit outside but we did go for a walk. Nice quiet serene setting. Our hot tub was warmed up and ready to go. We were able to watch a movie while sitting in the hot tub. We had a wonderful relaxing night. Already planing on making it a more common occurrence for us.
- Michelle (6/5): Great concept, but poorly maintained - The concept of this hotel is awesome with no check in process and complete privacy in a romantic setting. My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway. We had issues with only half the suite having electricity. We weren’t able to watch TV and had limited lighting. There is no management on site, so no one was able to look into it. The room also smelled very musty as soon as you walk in the door. I’m sure it’s due to the in room hot tub, but there are other things that could have been done to make it smell better. There was also mold under the hot tub cover, obviously not cleaned in awhile. The bottom of the shower curtain was a rusty brown color, so it had not been laundered recently. The pictures on the wall above the bed had cobwebs and the coffee table was dusty. We were really disappointed in the lack Of cleanliness especially during a pandemic. I tried texting and messaging the owner of this property several times about the issues with our stay, and never got a response back.
