- Dana (10/5): -
- Emily (1/5): Save your money. Stay (and park) somewhere else. - The fitness room was nice. The ground are nice and well kept. The room is spacious with kitchenette and sitting area. I was charged $15 per day for parking without my knowledge or consent. The fees appeared on my credit card which I was told was needed for any “incidentals.” Upon check-in I was NOT informed of any parking fees even when given a tiny slip of paper that we were told needed to go on the dash to show we were guests. When I called to ask about it, the receptionist told me that tiny slip they gave us to put on the dash states there is a fee of $15 per day for parking. Super shady practices and at $277.50 per night (with tax), I would expect parking to be included. While the room is spacious it showed a lot of wear and tear and needs a deep clean. Carpet was very dirty (I wore flip flops the whole time). Shower needs upkeep and deep cleaning (nothing like standing I someone else’s filth while showering).

- Brandon (10/5): - The staff here is incredible. Specifically Abbie at the front desk. There was a little bit of a mix-up on our room and she handled it so well and moved things around to make it work so we could keep Our reservation but still be comfortable traveling with three teenage kids. The place is clean and smells great. The pond around is fun and tbe breakfast was good. Thank you!
- Solís (10/5): Excelente experiencia - Esta muy comodo y amplio Todo me parecio muy bien y limpio
- Alexandra (8/5): - The area was very nice and relaxing. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed our stay.

- Teri (10/5): Great! - Always great!!! Great Service, friendly, and convenient!
- Teri (10/5): Great! - Always a great place to stay, staff is friendly, its convenient, clean and comfy!! Great staycation place!!
- Karla (10/5): -
- Connie (6/5): - The room servicing was not good. It should have been every other day, but was missed. I had to request towels at the front desk and request room servicing. Replenishment of bar soap did not happen. Was expecting more from Marriott. The rooms and property are very nice and comfortable. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good.
- Rivera (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was amazing due to a customer leaving late whice it caused our room to not be ready on time they upgraded it for the inconvenience .
- Chelsa (10/5): - Very nice and quiet space. The room had more than enough space for our family!
- crystal (2/5): - Front desk service was rude
- Benjamin (8/5): Nice, but not great - This property has two bedrooms but not a fold out couch in the living room. I think that is a missed opportunity. They also don't provide roll away beds so there is only space for 4 people. For a larger apartment style hotel, I feel it should accommodate more than 4 people.
- Selena (4/5): - I loved the staff, they were very nice! The property and outside areas were well kept and really nice. As for the room, I’m sadly very disappointed. The room was not clean, the furnishings are run down, and the shower head needs to be replaced as there’s about four streams of water that come out of an extremely corroded shower head. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling and the curtains have been spattered with something and have not been cleaned. The carpet was really bad, honestly should be removed for health reasons. The room just needs an overhaul in general. An example of no one really caring is there’s a lamp in the living room part that the globe shade hangs off the the side, why you ask? Because the bulb is too big and no one cared to find a smaller one. For the price we paid to stay there I’m extremely disappointed, I usually like Marriott hotels and trust the quality. Not anymore.
- Emmanouil (8/5): Very good -
- cohoman (8/5): Spacious Suites - My family has stayed at this hotel several times while visiting relatives for Christmas, and we always appreciate the spaciousness of the two-bedroom suite, which truly feels like a home away from home. The front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Our experience was comfortable and quiet, though the hotel is beginning to show signs of aging. For instance, one of the kitchen cabinet hinges was broken, and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. The Wi-Fi speed was 10 Mbps for both download and upload, which was sufficient but nothing exceptional.
The hotel offers a free daily hot breakfast (except on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), but we’ve noticed the variety of breakfast items has declined over the years.
One drawback is the $15 daily parking fee, which feels unnecessary given the ample parking available in the area.
Overall, despite minor inconveniences, my family plans to stay here again the next time we visit Chandler.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): - The front desk people were kind and helpful. The shower floor needs to be bleach and the bathroom fan didn't work but overall the room was clean and nice. The breakfast was okay on Sunday no protein just carbs. The water was peaceful. I would stay here again.
- Christopher (10/5): - Fantastic place close to amazing restaurants
- 374elishaw (10/5): Great breakfast - Andrea was a 10 in the breakfast lounge. Had two exceptional breakfasts here while we stayed in Chandler. She went above and beyond with excellent service. She was quick to respond and willing to accommodate a lot of people at once. Thank you Andrea!
- Jill (10/5): - I love the peacefulness of the lake sitting outside by the fire and doing our own grilling had a great time. Would highly recommend this hotel
- Christopher (6/5): - The room was decorated nicely, great for longer stays with family. View was nice and the grounds well kept. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and tiny pillows for a king size bed. The free breakfast was decent. Our main issue with the room was that it smelled strongly of smoke. Someone brought some febreeze but it did not help. It was like sleeping in a stinky casino. Also, the charge for parking. The hotel has a huge parking lot and the area was in the middle of nowhere. Really no reason for the added expense.
- Jacquelene (8/5): - This hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly.
- Jim (10/5): - Breakfast and room was great.
- Angelica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vera (9/5): Superb - Location, hotel is located close to our daughter
- Moon (7/5): Good - It was clean and comfortable and I was able to rest on a comfortable bed. It was quiet and clean and the staff were very friendly. The lake and nature around are beautiful with many trees and flowers I stayed at this hotel for the third or fourth time. Everything was good. But this time, for three days, the breakfast was so bad that there was nothing to eat. Even if there are not many types of breakfast, I think there should be a harmonious and basic breakfast menu. My family and I were disappointed with the breakfast.
- Julio (10/5): - Great staff but the location is beautiful with lakes, a pool and jacuzzi for the long end of day drives to relax.
- Connie (10/5): - Close to great dining and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of parking. Staff was very helpful. Will stay there again.
- Eileen (10/5): - The room was perfect for our needs & the atmosphere is very relaxing.
- Brandt (10/5): - Overall it was a great property
They seamed a little understaffed though due to overflowing garbage cans after breakfast service and the uncleanliness of the pool area ie: bird droppings everywhere and leaves etc all over the pool decking.
- Mark (8/5): - Hotel was nice overall. Walkability was poor with dirty sidewalks around the pond area behind property. Breakfast was a bust. They ran out of food by 730
- Shahid (4/5): - to start with , to my surprise a bottle of water was labeled 5.00 for use, that is a cheap style to welcome guest. further while using the bathroom sink I found the tap was leaking when in use, at a different spot and made the bathroom flooded enough to soak few towels, It was late already but thenext morning I complained to the front desk, which was acknowledge that they will send some one to fix it or give me a different room. On my return in the evening nothing was done and no roon availbel to switch , instead the counter person gave me about 10 towels to use when it leaks . this is Marriotts , will avoid next time
- Ericson (9/5): Superb - Nice facilities. A little bit away from town.
- Matthew (8/5): - Honestly this is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve been to with residence inn / Marriott. Gorgeous, however there was a tear in my window screen, some writing was left on the counter that was purple waxy substance. The bathroom decent but the floor would get super wet with the European style open door concept and the soap dispensaries are in an awkward location making arm room even for a shorter person awkward in scrubbing body/hair. All in all the staff was great, breakfast was great and my overall stay was great! I would definitely return to this great location and staff! Even the cleaning staff asked me how my stay was and said why are you leaving early?! I smiled and said I wish I could stay but I’m flying home!
- carrie (8/5): - Quiet, nice outside area to walk around the lakes.
- Bavarian-grill (5/5): It was okay. Great area with a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. - Variety was okay. I loved the salsa for the eggs. The juice machine was leaking and looked very dirty. The eggs are really disappointing. Do something else. No one enjoys the fake egg thing anymore. Thank you for the salsa though!
- Yuval (7/5): Great location and a lot of room for improvement - , Great location for visitors coming to Intel's facility. nice boardwalk, room size Breakfast, houseclean, slow elevators, payment is old style: can't use phone ,takes the hot water long time to arrive.
- BubbyeNWA (2/5): Run away as fast as you can! - Hands down the very worst Marriott Residence Inn I’ve experienced! From walls and ceilings that are tissue paper, thin to the point that you can hear your neighbors conversations, to having a property this large not have any hot running water for a 10 day stay, not one unit has an oven in it no baking sheets, no fry pans… It’s a glorified room with a microwave. The furniture inside the units are so broken down that if you attempt to sit on your sofa, your backside will be lower than your kneecaps. Making it very difficult to get out. During our 10 nights stay, I don’t think there was a front desk person that had been there longer than one month. No management to be found whatsoever. Just excuses on top of lies! The shower area, which I’m sure at one time was White, is just covered with dirt. Even both beds in the bedroom were so broken down and sunk in the middle, that just added to a very uncomfortable stay. Extremely poor management response when you can finally get a hold of one. Took us almost a week before we finally did. To my experience off, 11 days after I checked out, they attempted to make two fraudulent charges on my credit card. this is a franchise Marriott, so you’re not going to get anything that you’re used to when you stay at a Marriott properly .
- Charles and Diane (10/5): - We stayed 16 nights and we were fortunate to have a king room with a view of the lake.
The room was lovely and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of bacon at breakfast. In 16 days, we had bacon only ONE day! The sausage wasn't very fresh on some days. The eggs were excellent.
- Eleanor (10/5): - Beautiful location on a man-made lake in Chandler, AZ. Room was well appointed and worked great for us as seniors. Really appreciated the walk-in shower. Only complaint was the couch, though comfortable, was really low so it was a struggle to get up from.
- SIMON (8/5): - We hear to well poeple from other room
Thé rest was perfect
- Barbara (10/5): - Ashley was extremely helpful with a great attitude.
Ashley and staff made us feel very welcomed.
Hope to return in the near future.
Thank you
- Juan C (10/5): - Heat place. Loved the stay
- Christopher (10/5): - Water was cold. Took several minutes for the water to heat up, although I noticed if more people were using the water it heated up quicker.
- Sandy (8/5): - Everything was top notch except for water temperature of the showers, was not consistently warm/hot.
Staff was excellent, very friendly and accommodating.
- Carolyn (6/5): Disappointed - First thing we were hit with was $15.00 parking fee, never mentioned on website stayed here previously for a week & very disappointed. Breakfast basically same every day & eating area not kept very clean. People's animals in eating area. Couch in room most uncomfortable ever. Shower was ok. Wasn't aware no maid service anymore. I guess that is changing of time but $1424 for 6 days & no maid is a bit ridiculous. Didn't ask for one as figured you'd charge for that as well!
- Patricia (10/5): - Beautiful and location was fantastic. Super quiet, Breakfast was great! Dogs are allowed. Only set back was shower did not get hot until 20 minutes after. Overall a great experience!
- Paul (10/5): - Hdyehd
- Patrick (10/5): - A spectacular property. A lot of dining options nearby. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.
- SHANE (10/5): - Nice place to stay!!!
- Sarah (2/5): NOT WORTH THE COST - The rooms were up-to-date and modern, but the property outside the landscaping was not maintained. They were dead fish oil floating full in the Lake. It smelt awful, the pool was not heated. As they said it was, the Jacuzzi was cold. The bathtub would have been warmer. I will not stay here again for what it cost. I can stay elsewhere for better immunity.. The breakfast was very limited and barely warm. I called the front desk to ask for more coffee. And it was never brought up to the room. And when I gave all my concerns to the gentleman that check out. He disregarded them.
- Carrie (10/5): - Great location & property!
- Tricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sammi (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location No fan when cooking
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Shannon (10/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable and quite spacious. The property is located in a very nice area of Chandler. I would stay here again.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- cohoman (8/5): Good hotel with issues on this stay - My family made a reservation at this hotel for a 4 day stay over the Christmas holiday. I had reserved a 2 bedroom suite with a water view, but when we checked in we were given an ADA room that was heavily modified for wheelchair access. I asked the front desk manager to switch our room to a normal non-ADA room, but was told there wasn't one available until tomorrow. So, our stay started out with an issue, but the manager fixed it the next day as promised, but we now have a view of the parking lot and not a water view. Some other issues came up during our stay, such as unreliable hot water, difficult shower activation, WiFi internet connection problems, dirty dishes, missing bathroom shelf.
Pros:
- Free complimentary hot breakfast (except Christmas Day)
- Nice laundry facilities
- Safe, walkable surroundings
- Reasonable room rate
Cons:
- $15/day for parking
- Paid for water view room but got a parking lot view
- The hot water for showering was very inconsistent. Mostly just lukewarm water
- The shower in the 2nd bathroom didn't work
- Maintenance crew seems to work inconsistent hours
- Given an ADA room because it was the only one available
- Our room was never cleaned during our stay
What I've learned from this experience is to use the Marriott app to check in as early as possible and ask for a non-ADA room. If the app is glitchy and doesn't seem to work, call the hotel directly and ask for a non-ADA room.
When I checked out, the general manager did ask about my stay and I filled him in on my experience. He did seem to sincerely care about what I told him, and offered us some compensation which was a nice gesture. As such, we will try this hotel again in the future to hopefully have a better experience.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The lighted trees around firw pits and pool. Very inviting. Alot of odd smells, NEVER any water pressure, hard to get hot water. 1 fire pit not running and was never fixed.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Nice, resort like hotel, helpful staff.
- Lea (8/5): Great mini stay - Great breakfast, large rooms, nice common areas with a bar that opens to a view of the small lake. Beds were a bit lumpy, bars was closed on the weekend and the pickle ball courts you could see from the lobby were not open to hotel guests.
- Michael (1/5): Never again. - The hotel is located in a nice residential quarter of Chandler full of ponds and water. No hot shower - in the evening, as well as in the very early morning or 7:00 a.m. only cold / slightly warmish water. The hotel was half empty according to number of cars at the parking place. No internet access over laptops. The hotel did not even formally appologize, and nobody seemed to be really interested in the problems. We were given a telephone number to arrange for a serviceman ourselves, what we declined to do, as it was the hotel ´s responsibility and not ours. The hotel however offered a 20% discount.
- Amber (7/5): Good - Had a good view. Also accomodations was good when they did not have the reservation and they upgraded the room for my uncle waiting 2 hours for it to be fixed. There was a bad urine smell in the stairwell it got worse when it was hot outside.
- Davon (8/5): Get bigger pillows - Everything was great except the bed pillows.
- Suzanne (8/5): - This property is safe and quiet but off the beaten path, not convenient to shopping or dining, and expensive when you factor in $12 a night to park in an almost empty parking lot. The room was fine, nice actually, but mine had a view to the almost empty parking lot, not the lake as depicted in the ad. Bummer
- Blanco (1/5): Bad - Couldn’t tell you my reservation through booking wasn’t received by hotel.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay! - Awesome visit! Friendly staff, especially Jennifer at front desk! Maria’s housekeeping team keeps the place spotless!
- Eve (10/5): Amazing Stay!!!!!!!! - We liked the canal and the size of the rooms.
- Deborah (10/5): - The breakfast they offered was really well thought out! They had several options and provided a lot of toppings for the oatmeal. The property itself is beautiful, the room was spacious and modern.
- Vivian (5/5): Passable -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing would def stop again
- Doug (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doug (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and big rooms Shower was a little small and flooded floor. Outside smelt like propane
