• Vanessa (6/5): - Good size room. Nice, big fridge and decent coffee maker. More coffee making facilities downstairs. Easy to park and the area felt safe. Blinds don't block out the light sufficiently. There were curtains too but closing those would have blocked the Aircon unit. There are only 16 proper dining seats to sit and eat breakfast but the hotel had sold out so this meant that there was only a coffee table to sit at for breakfast. No staff available to check out - we just left our room key on their computer keyboard in the end. Teens woke us up, making a horrendous noise and playing loud music from their speaker in the pool area (beneath our window) at 8am, more children outside the door, playing baseball in the corridors. Obviously, those issues are down to fellow guests but, generally, this stay was still all a little bit disappointing for the money and we wouldn't return or recommend it to a friend.

The breakfast was awesome, great selection and the food was always hot. We’ve stayed here in the past and the maintenance could use a little adjustment to be at the excellence it is known for.

• Kimber (1/5): I will not be back. - I asked online for a room on the 1st floor. The clerk said they only put animals on 2nd floor. I was put on the 3rd floor and the minute I walked out of the elevator, bleach smell almost knocked me down. And then the room was just as bad. My eyes burnt. I told the clerk, and she just looked at me.

• butchart (2/5): Poorest experience possible - I booked my stay at this hotel for numerous reasons. I stayed here a year ago and had a wonderful experience. The hotel location was convenient. Easy access to the Interstate. Plenty of places to eat close by. The room is spacious and clean. Has a good privacy shade for the window that blocks the light really well, better than most hotels. The shower is not only spacious but has glass doors not the old plastic curtains. The breakfast is good with a wide selection. The hotel is a pet friendly hotel with grass areas to walk my dog the dog bag stations. I used to live in the area and I have looked for a good place to stay to visit friends and family when I pass through and thought this would be a good location. This visit was fine until I got ready to checkout. I went to the Lobby to checkout and didn't see anybody. I looked around and saw someone sitting in the office in the back. I told them I was ready to checkout and she told me to leave my cards on the desk. I told her I wanted to get a printed copy of my bill and she told me that I will get an email. I told her I wanted a printed copy and she proceeded to verify my email. I still insisted that I wanted a printed copy. She told me she couldn't do it. The system wouldn't allow it, that they recently changed the system. I told her that I stayed at other hotels on my trip and didn't have a problem at any of them getting a printed copy. She still insisted that she couldn't print one and I told her I didn't believe her. She eventually told me Good Day and walked off. I went to my car and access my email to see if I had an copy of the bill. I did. It wasn't right so I went back in. She was at the counter. I told her I got the email but it didn't have the extra charges for my pet on it. She told me that I wouldn't get that until I checked out. I told her I thought that I was checked out. We went back and forth and got nowhere. She eventually told me that I didn't have to stay there again and I told her that I didn't plan on it. She was the rudest person I've encountered in a long time. I already had a small problem earlier that I just ignored. I had gone down to breakfast around 8am. When I got down to the breakfast area, the pancake machine had a message on it that said that it needed more batter. I looked around and I couldn't find anyone in the breakfast area. I went to the front desk and once again there was no one there but the same person I encountered later was back in the office. I told her that the pancake machine needed some batter. She told me that it didn't work. I said okay and went back and got something to eat. After I finished my plate I went back for a little more. Two guys with the hotel had just refilled the batter. I got pancakes. It was obvious that there wasn't anything wrong with the machine but the lady at the front desk didn't want to be bothered with it. The funny thing about all this is that this hotel supposedly prides itself on excellent service. There are signs posted in the lobby and elevators that state that if they don't rate a 10 let them know. It is apparent after my visit this has no meaning. The extreme rude behavior of this individual had no regards to the success of this hotel.

They were well stocked and refilled the eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits, potatoes , grits and gravy regularly. Fresh fruit and breads & bagels . Dry cereals with cold fresh milk, assortrd oatmeal packets, several different varieties of yogurt, cream cheese as well as grated cheddar cheese for your eggs and grits. A really cool pancake machine and warm syrup. Fresh orange and apple juice too. Plus all the accompaniments... salt, pepper, hot sauce ketchup , assorted jams, honey and different muffin varieties. Everything was delicious! The microwave was not clean upon arrival, but promptly cleaned once notified of it. Behind the bathroom door had a good bit of build up dirt scum. If the housekeeping staff shut the bathroom door whilst in there cleaning, the would notice it for sure. Otherwise, housekeeping was very efficient and friendly. The bottom edge of the bed frame is quite sharp as it tore my husbands heavy duty tough work jeans pant leg when he passed by it, he became hooked on it. The front desk staff was amazing and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Loved the Tiger bot!

Easy solution tag them with GPS tiles and the staff will know where to find them or call to have them brought back to the lobby. I believe since I'm disabled it's a violation of ADA. • renitac509 (2/5): No Hot Water for Showers - 3 of us stayed here during Iron Bowl weekend...Friday to Sunday. It was cold outside! Friday night upon arrival we had hot water. Saturday morning one person took a hot shower. After that there was NO HOT WATER! I called the front desk and they said they would report it to engineering. I called back an hour later as we still had no hot water. The lady was short with me and said she had reported it. After 2 hours with no hot water we left to go to the game. I stopped at the front desk and inquired if they knew what was going on. They said it was probably because too many people were showering at the same time. They said they had probably ran out of hot water. Sunday morning at 8:00 am we tried again to shower. NO HOT WATER for any of us. We got ready and left. I reported it to the lady at the front desk as we were leaving. She said she would speak to the general manager and have her call me. Keep in mind we are paying higher prices for the room per night because it it Iron Bowl Weekend. No one ever called me. I finally called the general manager. She basically called me a liar because she said we had used towels in our room. I told her no one ever came to our room even after repeated complaints about to check on the reported problem. The coffee in the lobby is thick as syrup. I thought maybe the machine was out of water. I reported it to a lady working in the area. She asked if I was talking about how thick the coffee is and I said yes. She said yes we have really bad coffee!

The breakfast was disappointing; the coffee service didn’t work, the juice refrigerator was broken and there was no juice, the pancake machine was not in service.

We even got discount cards to eat at the Roadhouse across the street. Breakfast could have been better. The coffee machine was broken, the juice and water machine was broken, so there were no beverages. Hopefully they can get that corrected soon.
• Dawn (5/5): I would not stay here again - The location They overbooked and sold our room. They quickly found us 1 king instead of 2 queens like we requested. It was originally for my family and we would not be able to stay in a 1 king room. Thankfully, only my daughter was able to make the trip. The carpet was dirty and the smell was musty. The breakfast was nothing and they didn’t have juice either morning we were there.
