• Karen (10/5): Excellent beach stay while on the Camino! - It is right across the street from the beach. Rooms 1-3 have windows that look out over the water. The living room has a great view. Small but excellent kitchen with spices- oil and other odds and ends for you to use. 4 minute walk to market. Room 5- no view but has its own bathroom for all 6 bunk beds! Front desk support- very helpful! It is a high rise so no yard to go outside. However the other amenities make this place rise above!

• Francis (8/5): Excellent location and good facilities and super helpful staff. - Excellent location, fantastic views of the beach, great facilities and a very helpful lady on reception whose name unfortunately I have forgotten. I’m 6ft1inch and kept hitting my head on the ceiling lamps in the chill out zone!!!! Otherwise all good.

Incluso hay muchas ideas y opciones como usar el paddle board o un skate!! sitio para colgar la bici y la zona para dejar las botas un gran acierto!! Tapones para los oídos, colgadores para cada litera, cortinas y luz individual!! Nada.

• Luke (9/5): Mostly great; they might come into your room early - Very clean. "Private" bathroom in my shared room of 6. Very nice installations for blocking the sun (metal sheets, curtains, etc.) although it depends on if your roommates want a breeze or not. Lovely community space with a view of the beach. They came in to clean at like 10:15. I was the only one in my room who hadn't left, but still... I didn't have to check out until 11. In my mind, that means I should have the room to fully relax in until 11 without having to move stuff so the space can be cleaned. In fact, I wanted to use the bathroom one more time before leaving but was asked to use a different bathroom because mine had already been cleaned (it was like 10:45 at this point). Again: If check out isn't til 11, I should have free reign of that space until 11. If you want to clean earlier, tell people check out is 10:30! That's cool. Just give us proper expectations so we can plan accordingly.

• Ana (9/5): Absolutely wonderful hostel - Amazing cozy hostel with a wonderful view of the beach. Thought put into every corner of it. Clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. Cute kitchen with lots of appliances and tea and coffee. Bed comfortable, have curtains. Very pilgrim friendly. Would defitinitely stay here again if I happen to be in Gijon. A bit on the pricy side for hostels off peak season, but worth it.

• Rebecca (10/5): Amé la vista al mar. - ¡La locación es excelente! Cerca de la estación de bus, caminando como unos 15 minutos. Lo más impresionante para mí fue ver la ventana del cuarto con la vista directa al mar, y que tienen ubicado un sofá y un escritorio muy bonito para sentarte a verlo. Se nota que le han dado cariño y muy buena intención a las utilidades. Los baños son cómodos, lindos y limpios. El staff muy buena gente. Algo que no sabía que me interesó mucho es que tienen un cuarto de estar con muy buena vibra y cosas de entretenimiento como patinetas para usar en la calle. Te guardan los bultos hasta las 4-5pm. Tienen cocina cómoda. 100% recomendado. ¡¡Hasta te ofrecen “earplugs” para dormir!! Es un lugar muy consciente. No tengo algo que decir.

• Armando (10/5): Ubicación espectacular frente al mar y máxima comodidad - Nos encantó la ubicación espectacular frente a la playa. Es un hostel muy cómodo porque no necesitas coche para moverte por la zona, pero si lo traes, el parking de al lado es un gran plus. La zona tiene mucha vida: hay sitios estupendos para desayunar y servicios básicos (como un estanco) justo debajo. Repetiría sin duda.

• Lila (9/5): Estoy segura que voy a repetir, muchas veces. - Ya quiero volver en vacaciones. Me sentí en casa. La ubicación es increíble, bajar y tener la playa.. Levantarte y verla.. Dormir con el ruido de la marea. Me gustó mucho. Es un sitio muy bien gestionado. No me gustó que el baño no tiene cierre. Y puede entrar más de una persona a la vez. Aunque es un baño compartido, no sientes mucha privacidad al no tener un cierre principal.

• Viggo (10/5): - Franchement ! Un lieu de rêve pour faire étape sur le Camino del Norte. Accueil au top, lits confortables et bien équipés (draps, rideaux, prises electriques et serviette de bain). Sanitaires très propres et cuisine disposant de tout le nécessaire. Le tout avec une vue directe sur l'océan, en plein coeur d'une ville très belle. Un vrai coup de coeur !

• Beena (10/5): Stay here and fall in love with Gijón ! - One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Offers spectacular views of the ocean. Check-in was smooth. The kitchen had everything that one might need. The bathrooms were clean. Would definitely stay here, if I happen to visit Gijón again. What's not to like ??? Everything was great.

The lady at the front desk ,friendly and helpful, the tea to refresh you after one returns after having all the fun😁the little things with big impact like oil, salt and pepper which you don"t carry but need if you cook!! I didn't like leaving the place.....

La cocina tiene de todo y hay una caja de cosas que la gente comparte para comer, la verdad que la convivencia me pareció maravillosa. Los baños tenían incluso desodorante y tampax, la verdad que son detalles que marcan la diferencia. A pesar de ser partes comunes estaba todo muy limpio y respetado

• Eduardo (2/5): Worst service ever experienced in a booking property - Nothing. Due to misleading information, we found out the same day we were arriving late for the check-in. Despite contacting the property, they made no effort to accommodate. They even deleted the check-in info from whatsapp. Of course they kept the payment Attention from the staff was really disappointing. Misleading info, as they claim self check-in but then they have to open the building door which they refused to ("hostel" is in a normal living building). They purposely didnt reply on whatsapp and they only offered a late check-in hours later, when they knew it was too late as I was travelling to the place and had to interrupt the drive to look for an alternative
