Make sure to ask for the Pari Mahal facing views 🤠 We also had a quiet walk late evening on the Jhelum riverside, which is like 100m walk. Chinar trees, moving Jhelum waters and the breeze really set the tone for our Kashmir trip on day 1. We booked for Breakfast + Dinner options, and we're glad that we did that. Food was very good, specially the Nadroo Yakhni, Chicken Kanti, Fish preparation were especially great. The courteous staff is the bedrock of the experience here....Altaf, Shafaat and others were very helpful and polite all the way. Highly recommended stay!

But best of all is the quintessential Kashmiri hospitality. Danish and Sahil were extremely attentive. And Chef Shah Mohammed Ali was personally attentive to our culinary tastes— fabulous experience!

We came with our kids and he made sure that kids enjoy there meal with personal assistance and friendly behavior with professionalism at same time. We were desperately looking for having ginger tea which he made sure that we get as per our taste requirements. - Deepankar (6/5): Very expensive for the services provided - Location is good. Property is beautiful. The front desk staff is very helpful and resolved all our issues. Special mention to them for ensuring we had breakfast on our last morning even though we had an early flight. Restaurant is good, with good food and service. Hotel needs to invest money in rectifying certain things. The wifi system is erratic and devices get disconnected randomly. There is a limit to the number of devices that can be connected per room and we were only able to connect 2 devices for our room. In this day and age there are at least 4 devices per room. Also, the hotel does not have international charging sockets anywhere. Front desk was able to arrange an extension cord but there need to be at least one or two international charging sockets. Air conditioning needs to be improved, and central heated air conditioning put in instead of split ACs that are erratic. Washroom door could not lock properly - this is an important issue that should not be there in a 4 star hotel.
