• Ferdinando (9/5): Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende. - Die Zimmer waren toll eingerichtet und die Betten sehr bequem. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und der Besitzer äußerst aufmerksam und nett. Wir hatten vom Balkon einen wunderbaren Schwarzwaldblick. Leider gab es viele Treppen. Das war aber schon das einzige negative.

• Tineke1974 (4/5): - Bij aankomst was de deur op slot. Niemand te bekennen, geen teken van leven. Alleen een briefje voor de pakketdienst. Na even rondgekeken te hebben zijn we doorgereden. Het hotel maakte een verlaten en verouderde indruk. Na later contact gehad te hebben met iemand van het hotel, was de verklaring voor de gesloten deur, de veiligheid van de gasten...beetje vreemde gang van zaken. Zo zie je maar, niet alleen naar de prijs kijken als je een overnachting boekt!
• HotPasty (7/5): Not too far from Triberg - Hotel restaurant was closed but the friendly owner got us a table at the nearby bar, Restaurant Klosterstüble, where the food and company was excellent. Room decoration was sweet and the balcony nice. Hotel has a lot of rules printed and posted on walls, e.g. water 1€, no charging of eBike batteries - NB cycle tourists.

• Alessandro (10/5): Adatto a soggiorni romantici e rilassanti - Sicuramente la gentilezza e la cordialità del proprietario dell'hotel. Poi la posizione, la facilità di parcheggio. Ottima anche la colazione. Splendide le camere arredate in stile di montagna. Nulla da segnalare
• Eva (7/5): Zweckmässig für eine Nacht - Schöne Lage oberhalb des Dorfes in ruhiger Umgebung. Zimmer einfach, aber zweckmässig und sauber. Ich hatte ein Zimmer seitlich mit Blick zum Nachbarhaus, es gibt aber Bäume dazwischen, man sieht nicht an die Wand, das ist angenehm. Dadurch wurde das Zimmer aber halt eher dunkel und es war ohne Ausblick, was für mich persönlich nicht ideal ist. Aber schon klar, auch die seitlichen Zimmer müssen vermietet werden und nach vorne raus ist die Sicht sicher viel besser. Für eine Nacht ok.

Beaucoup d'escalier pour accéder à l'accueil ( équivalant de 3 étages) Porte accueil fermée 18 h 30 - manque indication interphone. Manque entretien extérieur (mauvaises herbes partout - terrasse - jardinières) . Après accueil en allemand de nouveau un étage pour la chambre. Chambre rustique dans son jus - Salle d'eau des années 80 propre mais vêtuste. Agréable balcon malheureusement avec une nappe sur la table qui date de 3 ans ( tachée -sale-usée) à ne pas approcher. Jardinière avec plantation de trèfles et une bouteille de vin vide !! . Déco et retouche de peinture fait par un amateur. Enfin aucune commodité dans la chambre si ce n'est 2 petites bouteilles d'eau au prix de 2,5 euros chacune. Restaurant de l'hôtel fermé.Petit déjeuner bien mais sans plus, ( croissants congelés et réchauffés et surtout morceaux de beurre qui trempent dans un bol d'eau !!!

Aucun garage sécurisé proposé : les vélos resteront dans la rue. L établissement est accessible uniquement par un escalier d une trentaine de marches. Abords extérieurs non entretenus.

Camera ampia e bagno un po' piccolo ma completo di tutto. Ottima colazione e gestore molto cortese Peccato non aver potuto sperimentare il ristorante, chiuso per ferie

• Srinidhi (10/5): Cosy, warm and welcoming in the Hills !! - Quaint little hotel in the Black Forest, very close to Triberg. Peter, the host, was one of the friendliest and charming person I’ve come across in my travels. The rooms have a very cosy, welcoming feel to them, and the attention the detail is amazing! Very clean and highly recommended !! Nothing could have been better!!

• Antonio (8/5): Una sosta nella Foresta Nera - Albergo pulito e stanza accogliente. Proprietario molto gentile, disponibile e piacevole accoglienza famigliare. Colazione valida in intima sala. Il locale bagno è da rivedere/ammodernare con doccia notevolmente alta rispetto al piano pavimento e getto acqua debole e incostante. L'albergo è inadatto a persone con disabilità o problematiche di deambulazione... dal parcheggio all'ingresso ci sono trenta alti gradini e, da qui, per raggiungere la camera al primo piano, altri gradini

• Diana (7/5): Centrally located in a peaceful road. Great value for money. - This was our second stay at this hotel, and it met our expectations nicely. The owner is extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms are traditionally furnished and we had a nice balcony with double doors that opened up to allow a good circulation of air which was very welcome as it was very hot during our stay. There is a good selection of breads meats and croissants for breakfast. Our shower head had a slight problem remaining in a fixed position which we mentioned to the owner at breakfast and we were delighted that he had fixed it by the time we got back later that afternoon. Great efficiency! The hotel is situated in a quiet road which was really peaceful and is fairly centrally located for touring around the area. Both the Source of the Danube and Triberg (the home of Cuckoo Clocks and Black-forest Gateaux) are not far away and there are a lot of other nice places to visit. Not a complaint because we knew before we booked - but just something to be aware of …. There is a long flight of fairly steep steps from the car park to the hotel. It was a slight struggle for my husband who has mobility issues, but we knew that beforehand and he managed ok.

Staff gentile e disponibile. Se si viaggia in macchina parcheggio molto comodo. Molto comodo da raggiungere da Triberg. Probabilmente la struttura è maggiormente valorizzata durante i mesi invernali, vista la vicinanza alle montagne e ad impianti sportivi.

• isabelle (5/5): Mauvais rapport qualité prix pour une chambre d'hôtel vétuste et sans cachet - Le petit déjeuner bien qu'assez onéreux (16 € par personne) était correct La literie Le calme Les escaliers très raides pour accéder à l'hôtel, les abords de l'hôtel très peu entretenus, l'accès aux chambres sans ascenseur, l'éclairage des WC/salle de bain par un néon qui n'éclaire qu'après un laps de temps trop important, la vétusté des lieux qui ne semblent pas du tout aux normes. Aucune vue depuis notre fenêtre. Le paiement uniquement accepté en cash.

• Wim (9/5): Een aanrader als je van rust en comfort houdt met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. - Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en meer dan genoeg, de gastheer was perfect. De kamer had twee stoelen en een tafel in de kamer en daarbij ook een balkon met eveneens een tafeltje en twee stoelen. Heerlijk rustig.

La stanza é accogliente e pulita e c'è un balcone che per me é indispensabile con vista anche sulla foresta.. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Ci resterà nel cuore. A me non piace la moquette , però sono stati così gentili e premurosi che non ci ho fatto caso.. non adatto per disabili perché manca ascensore.
• janusz (10/5): - An excellent hotel in the middle of the Black Forest. A veryv large and clean room with a large balcony. Superb breakfast every day. Great communication with the owner. He was so helpful and friendly. A large car park outside the hotel. The location is ideal for exploring Schwarzwald. So much to see. We stayed for 4 nights but there was enough to do for another week.

• P B (9/5): Heerlijk en gemoederlijk - We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar die er alles aan deed om het ons zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Hij boekte zelfs een reservering in één van de plaatselijke restaurants voor ons. Ontbijt was degelijk en goed.

Then another 20 stairs to your room with no assistance from the innkeeper . Hotel is located on the top of a hill in a sleepy town. Needs updating & keys that work in doors
