The staff was kind, attentive, and flexible. We arrived after the reception was closed, but it was easy to access the room using the key box. Staff proactively reached out via message to provide instructions to access the key box. The room was clean and comfortable. I wanted a second pillow but I arrived after the reception was closed and there were no pillows available in the pillow case.

Das Hotel liegt nahe der Autobahn, aber angenehm ruhig und etwas abseits auf dem Land (ca. 5 km). Die Zimmer sind sehr gross, sauber und wirken frisch renoviert – perfekt für eine Übernachtung. Das Frühstück war frisch und reichhaltig. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber. Gerne wieder.

- Hans (8/5): Gemütliches Hotel in Ortsmitte - Das familiengeführte Hotel liegt mitten in Meckenheim. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Ein großer Hof mit Teich, Garten und Sitzmöglichkeiten fallen sofort angenehm auf. Sehr freundlicher Empfang vom Geschäftsführer persönlich. Wir hatten ein gemütliches ruhiges Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und Balkon. Es gibt keine Bar, aber neben der Rezeption einen großen Kühlschrank mit Getränken aller Art zu angemessenen Preisen. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Hier werden wir bei unseren zukünftigen Besuchen in Meckenheim (Familie) sicher wieder logieren. Gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Man kommt direkt in den Hof, wo man ruhig an dem Teich sitzen kann. Das Frühstück hat überzeugt, alles war frisch und lecker. Zudem wurden wir von der Mitarbeitern herzlich empfangen. Jederzeit wieder und klare Empfehlung.

- Dirk (9/5): Nettes kleines Hotel - Wir haben Appartement ohne Frühstück gebucht. In einer Villa gegenüber des Haupthauses im Dachgeschoss. Das Apartment war ausreichend groß, Betten hervorragend, Badezimmer mehr als ausreichend. Personal an der Rezeption stets hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

It has some car park spaces reserved, and the town car park (if needed) is a two-minute walk. Good place for an overnight stay. Nice people & service.

- Roman (8/5): Decent 1-night stay option for a group of 3. - Pretty good place to stay for one night in a road trip. Price is reasonable, I will add it to the options for the next time. 1. Check-in / check-out procedures. Perfect. Minimal time, all needed guidance provided. 2. Keys. I love german hotels in this aspect - this one is no difference - everything fits, everything clicks. 3. Atmosphere. Pretty relaxed. Despite they accept pets I had no any noise isolation issue. 4. Water / tea / coffee / teapot in the room + terrace. Not fully worked for us this time due to our schedule but it was nice to find. 5. Overall bed quality / black-out / easy to find and use facilities in the room. Most of the things were in place where you expect them and worked as you expect them. Not always the case. Nothing really important, small notes to keep in mind - easy to workaround if you are warned / prepared. I actually liked this place. 1. Parking. I found everything following the guidance from the hotel staff but it can be hardly called 'private'. There are several options to park on free public parkings around. It is small town / village - just a bit more information 'where' would save time for non-german guests. I would categorise parking as 'free public parking on the street' but provide some recommendations where to park - would work better as current layout. 2. Pillows. They are definitely too soft. Some people who are sensitive to this may need to use their own. I personally just put some clothes under mine - it was late and we were too lazy to ask for some help from the hotel - do not know if they have som solution for this. 3. Power outlets. Room had enough of them but only one was relatively close to the bed (2m cable).
- Michael (4/5): Hotell med risk för dubbeldebitering o extraavgift - Lite hotell för pengarna. Litet hotellrum för 3 personer med heltäckningsmatta och svartmögel i duschen för 1600kr/natt. Man insinuerade att frukost ingick och när den serverades. Emellertid tillkom en frukostavgift på 600kr för 3 personer. Vid utcheckning hävdade man också att själva hotellrummet inte var betalt, vilket det var, i förväg. Denna dubbeldebitering backade man dock på efter diverse telefonsamtal med högre ort.

- Jennifer (8/5): Beautiful place, I would go again - Very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel The room was above expectations. Very clean, good bed, nice bathroom. The breakfast time, I came 30 minutes before closing of the breakfast and it felt like they were closing and clearing the buffet already and I had to ask for them to add things that were missing. I expect to have good choice and not have to ask, and have the feeling of eating left overs. But the food was good and fresh.

- Rachel (2/5): - For the facility provided, 120 USD is definitely overpriced. The toilet was not even flushed (seriously) when we checked in. Booked for two guests but only one set of towel, comforter, pillow, and cup were provided. Breakfast is free but you get the quality that is "free". Internet connection is a joke. Again, I understand if the hotel just wants to provide the basic services but 120 USD per night is a no-go.
- PDScotland (10/5): Charming independent hotel - Stayed for one night on business (sadly they didn't have availability for the 2nd night of my trip). Small independent hotel / B&B, close to Cologne & Bonn. Spotlessly clean, simple & comfortable rooms - my top floor room had a great balcony overlooking the courtyard. Great Wi-Fi coverage, plenty of plug & usb points for business travellers. Price for bed & breakfast was also superb, and offered great value for money. Breakfast buffet was simple, continental style, but high quality. Service throughout the stay was superb from all the staff. Even before I arrived, the staff at the hotel offered to check some other local hotels to see if they had availability for the rest of my trip. It's rare to see such great service in any hotel. This will definitely be the first hotel I contact whenever I am next back in the area.
- steppeagle (8/5): Overnight stay whilst returning from holiday - Hotel ZweiLinden has comfortable and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was excellent and worth the additional charge that was levied on our bill (€5 per person). There was also an additional charge for our dog (€9) neither of which were specified when booking on line. It is right in the centre of Meckenheim which allows for a choice of restaurants as there is not one in the hotel. There is no off road parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and there is an attractive courtyard garden.
- JGCBA (10/5): Small, clean and lots of Charm - I stayed here recently with my wife as a stop over while travelling. It is a small hotel and very clean. Continental breakfast was very nice, and staff extremely friendly. It is ideally situated for exploring the nice town of Mekenheim. The room rates are also very reasonable. I would return here again, if I am in this interesting part of Germany.
- HAL_3000 (8/5): very nice small hotel! - very nice small hotel, little boring city but bonn and cologne are not far away, so Bonn is about 18 Minutes by train. The main station is near, i thing not more then 300 meters. The Staff is very friendly and the garden is marvellous. First time i got a normal room, nice but a little bit small, next time i got the "suite" which was really great stuff!
