Рекомендація була одна - платна вода з мінібару в розмірі аж однієї пляшки 0.5 на дві особи. Заклад готувався до замовленого весілля, тому їм було не до інших гостей. • Judith (10/5): Would love to return at some point and highly recommend it to others. - Beautifully refurbished little hotel. Friendly helpful staff, lovely greeting on arrival and throughout stay. The attention to detail was excellent, including the lovely smell as you entered! Lovely pool area, overlooking the gorgeous valley. The breakfast was delicious with good variety and made to order.
• Scott (7/5): I would have rated this excellent if not for the noise from the restaurant every morning & evening - Great location between Xlendi and Victoria. Pool and Patio Great. Good Breakfast although the waiter could be more friendly and a little more flexible. For example, one of our party wanted a single pancake with the eggs they ordered for breakfast from the included menu and he said no. All three of our rooms were right below the restaurant which has a cement floor. Every morning and evening when they open and close the restaurant they drag chairs, tables and equipment around the floor and you can hear it very loudly in your room. They held a wedding there on the Saturday night and the music and guest as well as chairs dragging across the floor continued until 12:30 and after we complained multiple times. We had a 6:30 wake up for the airport the next day so really not acceptable for this price of a property.

• Savitri Yvette (10/5): Easy, elegant and priced well. - I enjoyed my stay at Palazzo Castagna, I would gladly return. The former home has been tastefully renovated with an elegant palette and is a delight to the eye. My suite was spacious, very clean and neat as a pin. The air was fragranced with a light scent of bergamot, as it happens, is a favorite of mine. The bed and sheeting were a dream (pun intended) and I slept soundly. The owner and staff were kind, courteous and solution oriented. We tested the limits of solutions to address a problem with Booking.com. Many thanks again to Nirosha Tanti. A stunning hotel is only a building without lovely people that make the stay worthwhile and encourage others or a return trip. New towels

The hotel itself is traditional but then modern inside. The rooms are super clean with amazing balcony views over the valley. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was great - would recommend the granola! We only wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the pool as it looked so nice. The only thing we didn’t perhaps realise before staying (and might not be all rooms), is that our room didn’t have a shower - only a bath with a shower head which went everywhere when in use. Otherwise, we loved everything!

Belle terrasse avec piscine sur le toit. Emplacement parfait tout près de la petite station balnéaire charmante de Xlendi et aussi de Victoria/Rabat. La qualité de la décoration, de l’accueil et l’emplacement sont remarquables. Rien. À noter certains commentaires signalent le problème du stationnement. Il est certes limité en regard de l’hôtel mais si besoin on peut trouver un peu plus loin

• Neills092 (6/5): - I requested an extra large double bed, and they were just two single beds placed together with a sheet on them to make it seem like it's a big bed. While we slept comfortably, this "add-on" was misleading. The photos were taken at a wide angle to make the rooms, (and the pool) look bigger than it actually is - again quite deceiving. Overall it was alright, but not somewhere I'd be staying again.

• Maltese Sunset (5/5): A bit of everything since we did do what we wanted to do which is have a short break. - The location is amazing and the view from the breakfast area overlooking the valley is beautiful. Classic room was sort of OK. Room service was very good and we had the room done each and everyday as one could expect in a boutique Hotel. The pool looked inviting but the weather was not accommodating. Definitely breakfast especially if you are either vegetarian or pescatarian or other. Staff due to not being Maltese or Gozitan or at least understand English have a language problem. The room was overlooking the road so knowing that it was not a particular busy time for the hotel we think we should have been given an option.

• Charlene (10/5): I certainly recommend this hotel. - I stayed for a weekend break with my daughter, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was spectacular, especially the view from the hotel, which truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and well presented. The only aspect that was slightly inconvenient was the parking. There are only a few parking spots available, which tend to be quickly occupied. Additionally, the parking is along the main road, which I did not feel entirely comfortable with. That said, aside from this minor issue, we had an amazing and relaxing weekend, and I would certainly recommend it.

• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful and high quality small hotel, with stunning rooftop pool and terrace. - Beautiful hotel, gorgeous and very clean rooms with small balcony and views, and a lovely ensuite. Comfortable beds with good linen, warm room (we were visiting March/April 2026 in a cold, rainy and windy week), plenty of hot water, and extremely good breakfast - highly recommend their house granola with yoghurt. There was a lovely lounge and stunning rooftop terrace and pool - sadly the weather wasn't good enough for us to enjoy it. We had a small car and were able to park on the road outside the hotel by keeping close to the wall with our wheels off the white road lines. There was more parking on the road further away - approx 100 to 150 metres, so it would not have been a problem if we had had to park there. Nearby coastal village very pretty. Fantastic meal at friendly La Terrazzo restaurant above Xlendi. If you hire a car and use sat nav, driving around Gozo is a great way to see so much of this beautiful island. Nothing.

We even saw a rainbow yesterday on top of the hill. Breakfast was good enough. So close to Xlendi, walked 15 mins downtown for my diving centre Utopia. The hotel itself was an old stone building, so had lots of character, quite beautiful. Despite the heater in the room, the room felt cold. It was raining while we were there so it was already wet and cold. Unfortunately, the cold air was coming in visibly right under the door.

Good breakfast selection and very pleasant staff Bathroom without ventilation, i wasn’t expecting a window but as a minimum an extractor is needed. Every shower was a hassle as the walls would be dripping moisture wetting everything and of course transferring into the bedroom. Not sure how they planned this but it was a huge nuisance and plenty of humidity on the wall to show for it

• Lizy (9/5): Unforgettable - The bedroom was spacious and beautiful, with an amazing view to the valley accompanied by an stunning sunset. I really liked the bathroom, very luminous and with a good bathtub. The people in the reception were quite kind and knew a lot about the island, so they helped us with great recommendations. Finally, it was 15 min walk from Xlendi beach. If they could include conditioner in the bathroom would be great. Also, maybe to give the possibility to pay an additional to get a fresh fruit juice instead of paying entirely for it. I think you had to pay 3.75 to get a fresh orange juice, because the one included in the breakfast was a bottled one. To pay an additional of 2 euros for example would be more fair.
