- catherinemJ7505OH (10/5): Perfect base for a Prague short stay - My daughter and I spent a lovely weekend at the NH in Prague. The hotel sent a car to collect us from the airport and although we were unable to access our room, they stored our luggage and texted me at 12.30 telling us our room would be ready by 1.00pm. Our room had all the bits n bobs one would expect for a weekend break, I do wish hotels (universally) would leave sufficient quantities of tea/coffee and milk/cream.......it's pennies! We choose this hotel based on its accessibility to tram stops to get around, each tram was less than 100meters away, the tram system is fantastic. Peter in guest relations was fantastic, he provided so much information to me in advance of our arrival, it allowed me to plan in advance. Peter suggested two non tourist restaurants (at my request) one was a traditional diner in the train station, where we enjoyed lovely fried cheese and potatoes, the other a fish market...... both brilliant and not a tourist in sight. The fish Market was especially good and both were very reasonably prised. At the fish market you choose your fish, method of cooking, sides and enjoy. Our personal funicular to our room in the sky was so much fun. I would definitely recommend as a great stop off in Prague. Enjoy. X
- KatieL367 (10/5): Lovely hotel - The hotel itself was very wonderful. I didn’t realise that we would have to take a cable car to it - we arrived at the NH Collection Prague City desk and were signposted around the corner to a ‘lift’ which was a cable car up to the hotel! It was a welcome surprise and made the experience quite special. The room was incredibly spacious with high ceilings and large windows. The view from our room was great. The room was clean and well equipped. The only downside (and it’s small) was the television - the signal was quite poor and we could only get Sky News (we lost BBC news somehow). The remote control was quite worn and buttons were sunken in so it was hard to work. We didn’t watch much of it mind you but it was a bit annoying. The Sky Bar was very pleasant. We purchased breakfast during our stay and whilst they offered a great continental selection plus hot food (eggs, bacon, beans, sausages), it was manic! The dining room was full so we had to sit in reception or return later (this was around 9.30). I think though this would have been the same in any hotel at this time of year in Prague! The hotel allowed us a late check out for free until 2pm on the day of departure- we were willing to pay for more time but sadly our room was already booked for someone new. The late departure was very welcome with a late night flight. All in all, the hotel was great. Due to the airport/passport control situation in Prague, and the huge crowds, we would not return to Prague sadly.

The bar staff were rude and made the atmosphere uncomfortable, and the pool access was confusing as robes weren’t provided unless asked. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, a nice hotel but the service could be much better.

- JohnHart_13 (10/5): Hotel with funicular railway - This hotel is only 25 minutes or so from the airport by Uber and about 5 minutes walk away from the Andel (yellow line, B) metro station. The rooms were clean and upto date and staff helpful and friendly, they lent us an umbrella when it was raining. But the things that made it for us was the funicular railway (or elevator as they refer to it) which takes you up to the second reception and your room. What is there not to like about a hotel which gives you a free funicular railway ride every day! There is a pool, sauna and jacuzzi in the basement but we didn't use them. The breakfast was good with a wide choice of options, This has to be a 5* review for the funicular railway alone :-)

The room was very outdated and it was only cleaned one day during our stay. It was a very sad ugly room compared to other NH hotels. The cable car was a quaint idea but it was always super busy with hotel conference guest and we ended up having to walk up a steep hill at night after walking all day. The people were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was not up to NH standards. We might start rethinking our NH stays and this hotel mistake.

- angelasK843IB (8/5): Nice hotel - We have just returned from a weekend stay. The hotel in general is very nice and comfortable. We had bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was nice with a good selection. Hotek is about a 30-40 min walk to Charles Bridge. Some nice restaurants nearby, Masala Indian and Grosseto pizza especially. We had drinks in the Sky Lounge on a couple of evenings which was nice, great views. Just sit and a waiter will serve you drinks. The only downside is the cable car, which is a nice gimmick but only when it works. It wasn't working for a couple of days of our stay. When it was initially out of order, there were no signs of where to go. We just overheard that a shuttle bus would arrive. Very poor communication and when I say bus it is a 7 seater car. There is no queue system, so when it arrives, everyone just pushes to get on. If it's a long queue you just have to wait. No instructions given either if you do want to walk which we were happy to do. After a long day you just want to go to your room and not have to hang around. Once we found our the route using the bus, we decided to walk down one evening. You can do it by exiting on -1 through the wellness area. It takes you through the park, and be warned there are a lot of steps, but if you're fit and able, it is quicker. We also did the walk back up the hill.....much harder though! Frendly staff.

Rooms large with a view over the surrounding park. Roof top bar is pleasant with a nice view, red bar in the hotel at ground level is good for food and drinks at a reasonable cost. Breakfast plentiful with a station that cooks fresh eggs for you on request. Overall a pleasant stay, would recommend.

Zudem funktionierte die Klima in keinem der gebuchten Zimmer . Laut Mitarbeiter ist das normal , da die äußeren Temperaturen das nicht zulassen - so etwas hab ich bisher noch nie gehört . Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich .

ALL the staff were so helpful from the very beginning. The reservation department found our "lost" reservations (coursed to my spelling mistake) and changed the arrival date without any problems. Special thanks to the receptionist/concierge Petr Polacek. He organised a German speaking tour guide for us and the hotel car for our sightseeing tours. Breakfast was very good. Dinners (2x) excellent. Rooms clean and VERY spacious with nice views over Prague. One was ground floor with a nice terrace. The cable car to reach the hotel was a big surprise. We all loved it. And yes, it is a little older cable car and little "fragile" too. The 4 days we were there, it worked except one time. But for these cases, the hotel has a shuttle bus available immediately. We have such lovely memories from this trip to Prague and a huge part comes from our stay at your hotel. Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts
- riggyr2016 (10/5): Great Location, Great Staff, Great Stay - Incredible city break hotel. Thank you to NH Collection Prague for having us for my partner's birthday celebration weekend. The hotel has friendly staff who are always happy to help to go above and beyond. We had a wonderful time. The hotel has a tram station (Andel) approximately a 8 minute walk away and you can buy 3 day bus & tram tickets from the hotel's reception. A complimentary cable car to get you up the big hill and to your hotel. A wellness spa and pool (which we didn't get time to use) and a restaurant serving a great breakfast and evening meal. Breakfast is the same each day with your typical cereals, pastries and English breakfast items (scrambled eggs, hot dog sausages and bacon). They also offer omelettes to order. We made use of the taxi service too which was put on a room tab for our outgoing travels. The rooms are big and clean. Lots of space. A special thank you to Petr who helped us massively and ensuring that we had the best time. My partner has already said if we returned to Prague she wants to come back to this hotel. Thank you for a great stay!
- jaelke (10/5): Clean and convenient hotel with spacious rooms and indoor pool. - There are many hotels to choose from in Prague, but not many that ticked all the boxes for our 'must haves': convenient location, comfortable beds, bathtub, fridge, kettle, indoor pool, sauna. NH Collection did not disappoint! It was very clean throughout and the staff were friendly. As we had an evening return flight, we really appreciated being allowed a later check-out. The breakfast selection was very good and we had a pleasant meal one evening (when it was cold and wet outside) in the Il Giardino restaurant. The pool (included in the room rate) is a decent length for swimming, but quite narrow if there are more than two or three in the water. There were always sufficient pool towels for use. Bathrobes and slippers can be ordered on the hotel app. The sauna was a suitable temperature and the jaciuzzi very relaxing after a day's sightseeing. (The pool and the jacuzzi would be difficult for anyone with mobility difficulties to access due to the high steps.) The novelty of this hotel is the funicular which you summon just like an elevator from inside the building. It takes just over a minute to get to or from the NH hotel at street level below. During a few hours of maintenance, the hotel put on a shuttle minibus instead. The hotel is a short walk from the Nový Smichov shopping mall with well-known chains, including Tesco and M&S. (We're British,so being able to buy 'proper' milk for our tea was great!) The mall also has a food court and there are other good value restaurants nearby. There is a tram intersection and the metro which run from this location (Andel) and so getting into the centre of Prague is very straightforward - and cheap (or even free if you are over 65!)! It took us about an hour to get to and from the airport on public transport. We would happiy stay at the NH Collection again!
- blackeyes (10/5): Brilliant - We found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. It was a good location, maybe 7 mins. walk to Andel metro station. Quiet location but close enough to eating, drinking and shopping. We loved the funicular ride up to the hotel, through garden grounds. Our room was large with a view of the tennis courts, plentiful storage, a safe, good lighting, great water pressure in the shower, powerful hairdryer and lovely bathroom products. The only negative is that the towels could be softer. They need to be replaced as they are past their best. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. They even had fresh mint leaves for your tea! The made to order omelettes were delicious, as were the traditional Czech buns, fresh from the oven and filled with jam. Yum! We found all staff to be helpful and friendly. Luggage storage was available too. We didn’t use the spa but had a look and it was fine. We wished that the Sky Bar had been open as the view would have been amazing but I guess that this is maybe seasonal. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your visit to Prague.
- valerieannelane (10/5): Excellent City Break Hotel - This Hotel blew us away. We loved it from every aspect. Our room was always clean and fresh. The staff went out of their way to solve any problems and were always friendly and helpful. The view over Prague, from our bay window was incredible. The icing on the cake is the Funicular railway from the lower hotel to the top hotel. It was almost like being on a rollercoaster. Such fun and we are in our 80’s 🤣 The buffet style breakfast had everything you could want and the food was always excellent. Staff are on hand to fry an egg, fresh off the griddle plate for you, which you don’t find in too many hotels. Access to the city, following a short walk down a steep hill, was easy. There are always plenty of trams outside the shopping centre to take you wherever you wish to go. Just ask Hotel Reception staff for their advice. They are most helpful. The shopping centre is within easy walking distance (10/15 mins) and has lots of shops, including a big Tesco. The pool area is great, although we did find it was a bit chilly in the pool. However we soon warmed up in the jacuzzi and sauna. Plenty of ice and freezing water there if you need it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation recommending the NH Collection Hotel, Prague. We will certainly return there the next time we visit Prague.

He arranged for us to check in early and explained the layout and facilities of the hotel. He then took time to explain tourist activities in Prague. Petr was so helpful and a major asset to the hotel. Our room was spotless as was our toilet / shower room. Prague itself as a city was fantastic.

The Hotel is reached by a funicular railway, very novel and enjoyable, and the Reception hospitable and welcoming. The Rooms are large with a good sized, modern bathroom, and the whole Hotel is warm and very quiet. The Pool and Spa is an added bonus, especially lovely after a cold day discovering the amazing sights of Prague, and bath robes and slippers are provided. The buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, and both with hot and cold food, is served in a dining room overlooking a terrace. A very good stay at a very good price and I recommend it.

The front desk staff was nice, friendly and professional on both the morning and night shift. Rooms clean, cosy, lovely bathroom with good quality hairdryer, bed just right, neither too soft nor too hard, all top notch. Breakfast excellent, buffet style, really wide choice of salty and sweet, juices, cereals, porridge was also on the menu, which my boyfriend and I really appreciated. The hotel also has a spa, small but enough for relaxation, sauna and jacuzzi perfect, staff takes care of cleanliness and replenishing towels and sheets. I think the cable car ride up to the hotel premises is a complete unique experience, a pleasant surprise and experience. Hotel 10/10, wellness 10/10, food 10/10, staff 15/10 😊 We were totally satisfied with the whole visit, thank you very much and we will definitely be happy to return to the hotel 😊

The pool area is always full of kids in the evening its impossible to swim! Or to take a dip in jacuzzi! There should be limited time for kids use! The system of QR codes in the room is so terrible, we didnt get any new towells, or there was no explanation what coffee you are drinking or how much cost the mini bar. The information of services is different from the room’s book to reception. This is not a 4* hotel. Now I know why it was cheap.
- j (8/5): Good - The hotel is situated in a lovely part of Prague. Easy to get around. Staff is very friendly and polite, breakfast is fresh and plenty to choose from, sky lift is amazing feature and views from the top floor are beautiful. Pool is on the smaller size but perfectly sufficient for a nice swim. Jacuzzi might be a bit difficult to get into for shorter people and steps to the pool is a ladder, not great for everyone. The only issue we had was a very uncomfortable bed that was moving a lot every time one of us turned around and smell of drainage coming from the bathroom. For the price we paid I expected a better/more comfortable and up to date room but overall people working there made up for it.

Wellness-Angebote zu sehr eingeschränkten Tageszeiten, Fitnessangebote in einem fern liegenden Hotelteil, so dass wir sie nicht nutzen konnten. Personal überwiegend sehr freundlich. Technische Einrichtung des Bades z.T. nicht praktisch. Durchgehende Matratze des Doppelbettes übertrug jede Bewegung des einen Partners auf den anderen. Eine Schiebetür vor Schrankteil und Kofferablage, so dass man nicht direkt Kleidung vom Koffer in den Schrank umhängen konnte.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Ich fand das Personal gar nicht hilfsbereit und auch nicht Gastfreundlich. Preis- Leistung Hotel passt gar nicht. Und Prag selber werde ich nicht wieder besuchen. Unfreundlicher geht es fast nicht mehr.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is a pain if getting dropped off by shuttle as there is no allocated place for passenger drop off. Request to be dropped off at NH Prague City lobby from there you can take the cable car up to the NH and check in - both hotels are connected by this cable car. I found my stay at hotel enjoyable. It was only a 5-4 minute walk to the buses and subway station was another minute away. Their is a mall by buses with a giant grocery store which was great for picking up water and croissants to take back to hotel and for buying chocolate and booze to take back home!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Godt hotel - Godt hotel i Prag med en godkendt placering, i gåafstand fra indkøb osv. Store værelser og søde mennesker. Boede på toppen af et mindre bjerg, hvor man skulle op med elevatorlift for at komme op. Det var en oplevelse i sig selv. Spiste morgenmad ude i byen og ikke på hotellet.
