• Chad (10/5): Amazing staff, great pools, clean, comfortable. - This resort is amazing! The staff are so kind and helpful. Arranged boat trips for an excellent price, comfortable boat, friendly driver, not rushed, very relaxed. Breakfast is great with many choices. The poolside rooms are spectacular. Cleaned several times a day, so nice to sit in and relax. Better than a large pool on a hot day actually. Loved the kayaks available. The daily cleaning of rooms was great. The ladies do such a good job. Floor to ceiling windows and they get them so clean you can’t even see the glass!!! We would love to come stay here again :-) This place is fantastic.

The restaurant was really good. Proximity to Charlie Beach is a big plus. The wifi was a bit spotty. But, thats kinda expected for an island.

• Glenda (9/5): Relaxation at is best - Loved the surroundings, peaceful and quiet. Room was very comfortable and had all we needed. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and very helpful especially as we needed help to change our transport ticket. The breakfast was delicious and ample food. Dinners were always enjoyable with a nice vibe in the restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay.

Rauhallinen sijainti vähän erillään kylän sykkeestä, kuitenkin palveluiden äärellä ja nopean matkan päässä kylästä. Todella kaunis ja hyvinhoidettu pihapiiri, hyvä aamupala jossa sai tilata haluamansa annoksen listalta ja siisti majoitus. Aivan ihana paikka jonne haluaa palata! Hieman kulumista sisäpinnoilla, mikä ei kuitenkaan haitannut.
• Manfred (9/5): Für ein paar Tage zum Relaxen die richtige Anlage - Toller Bungalow mit kleinem Privatpool. Die Anlage liegt etwas abseits - aber man findet immer ein Rollertaxi das einen für 100 THB in den Ort oder zurück bzw. zum Strand und zurück bringt. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Laundry Service für 70 THB pro Kilo. Man kann auch Kayaks benutzen - haben wir jedoch nicht gemacht. Die Anlage liegt direkt am Meer - ist jedoch wegen der ständig wechselnden Gezeiten nicht zum baden geeignet. Man kann in der Anlage auch einen Roller mieten - haben wir jedoch nicht in Anspruch genommen
• Roberto (1/5): ESTAFA EN MAYÚSCULAS. Nada es lo que parece - Nos timaron así que nada Nos timaron y nos dieron una habitación que no correspondía. Usan fotos de habitaciones con piscina y cuando la reservas hasta en la reserva salen las habitaciones con la pisicina y te dicen que son de ejemplo y le pasó a varias personas más del complejo que les dieron una habitación que no era la que esperaban. Te engañan también dentro del hotel los propios trabajadores diciéndote cosas que no cumplen. No recomiendo para nada este alojamiento. MENUDA ESTAFA
• Marie (8/5): - Till en början trodde jag vi kommit till ett träsk, men det visade sig vara ebb/flod så vattnet kom o försvann. Ett fantastiskt mysigt ställe med trevlig personal. Väldigt hjälpsamma med allt. Luktade lite väl mycket avlopp som de försökte ”gömma” med doftpatroner när vi anlände.

• Michael (10/5): - Náš pobyt byl naprosto skvělý. Recepční byl úžasný člověk, velmi ochotný a milý, splnil nám každé přání a vždy se snažil pomoct se vším, co jsme potřebovali. Díky němu jsme se cítili opravdu vítaní. Pokoj byl krásně čistý, voňavý a velmi příjemný. Vše bylo perfektně uklizené a udržované. Určitě se sem ještě někdy vrátíme. Jediné malé mínus je lokalita – bez motorky nebo dopravy je pohyb trochu složitější. Na druhou stranu, pokud si chcete opravdu odpočinout, vypnout hlavu a být v klidu, je to ideální místo.

The food at the hotel is very good and the staff were always on hand to help with anything. The taxi service they have is great as it is in the middle of no where but still only 10 mins to the busy street. The point is your out in the sticks to just enjoy it and we certainly did!

• Andreas (10/5): Tolle Menschen, super Aufenthalt 🙏🏼 - Wunderbar ruhige Anlage ( kla hört man die LongtailBoote ) Die Menschen die dort arbeiten, machen wirklich alles, um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Bei Flut geht man um die Ecke und hat einen Strand für sich allein und kann in Riesen Fischschwärmen sitzen. Ins „Dorf“ kommt man fußläufig und n „Taxi“ kost pro Person 50THB 🤷🏻‍♂️😉 Wir waren sehr zufrieden 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Des endroits pour manger er boire, bref un très bel endroit 💖 Très beau resort, propre et l'endroit pour dormir WOW. Le bord de mer est très ordinaire, pas vraiment un endroit pour se baigner.
• Michael (9/5): Like staying with a family - If you are looking to support a family run business please come here. The owners are really friendly and you feel you are staying with a family. The food was good, the rooms were comofortable and clean. There were a few minor problems but they took care of them very nicely and efficiently. The area is in a very quiet mangrove forest area and is just a 15 minute walk to Charlie beach and another 20-30 minute walk to a number of restaraunts. Highly recommend!

• Maxim (10/5): Würde es meinen engsten Freunden und Familie direkt weiter empfehlen! - Die "Deluxe" Bungalows direkt am Meer mit kleinem Pool vorne sind wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Würde sagen, dass dies die beste Unterkunft unserer 3-wöchigen Thailand-Reise war. Würde diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen an Freunde. Der Besitzer und seine Mitarbeitenden waren alle super angenehm und freundlich. Das haben wir sehr wertgeschätzt! Roller mieten von der Unterkunft aus war kein Problem. Kayak bekommt man kostenlos. Und ein durchaus empfehlenswertes Restaurant ist auch direkt in der Unterkunft. Haben dort tatsächlich mehrmals gegessen, weil es so lecker war. Von der Lage her war es für uns perfekt, weil wir es nicht mögen, direkt im Zentrum zu sein. Es war so schön ruhig zum entspannen. Direkt am Wasser. Unweit vom größten Strand "Charlie Beach", und auch noch gut zum Zentrum von der Entfernung. Und rechts rum kann man auch etwas entdecker-mäßig wandern um die Insel zum "Mermaid Beach" (so eine Meerjungfrau Statue). Gerne wieder! Fällt mir nichts ein!

• Liselotte (8/5): Lugnt och skönt - Mycket hjälpsamma och bra service! Ett litet familjeägt ställe. Jättefin bungalow (större m pool). Bra frukost. Ingen badstrand pga tidvatten och mangroveträsk men är lätt att ta ”taxi” till både beacher och övriga restauranger. Vi gillade det lugna läget och framförallt personalens bemötande, vi stannade en extra natt och hade gärna stannat längre men det var fullbokat. Inget men man ska vara medveten om att det inte är en badbeach framför.

Le seul inconvénient est l’accès à l’hôtel le soir lors de la marée haute. C’est un peu compliqué il ne faut pas avoir peur de se mouiller les pieds. À l’avenir un petit chemin pour accéder à l’hôtel serait super.

They were very helpful when we wanted to rent a bike within 2 minutes of asking we had one!! Just 10/10 all round I have not a bad word to say about that property but all I would recommend (as someone who likes to have a lay in) is maybe end the breakfast slightly later 🤣🥰

• Angelina (9/5): - Es ist ein kleines bisschen abgelegenes resort mit Blick auf den Mangrovenwald und das dahinter gelegene Meer. Es ist nicht weit bis zum nächsten Strand. Zu Fuß ca 15 Minuten und mit dem Roller keine 5 Minuten. Den Roller kann man sich direkt im resort leihen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird täglich sauber gemacht und man kann sich vor Ort die Wäsche waschen lassen. Wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen.

Super venlige, hjælpsomme, og en massaman som blev bedømt som verdens bedste. Kun 2 ting ønskede vi anderledes. Stranden foran resortet, samt stranden som vi skulle ind på resortet var fyldt med skarpe sten og 2 gange om dagen var der højvande.

• Sascha (9/5): Nice place to stay for some days if you want to have it to be in a quite spot - Communication with the Hotel upfront and at their place was great! The Food was very delicious even a bit pricy but the portions are big. The whole hotel was clean as well the rooms. The location is great. If you want they have a Taxi service. Taxi on the island is always 50THB per person. But you are also good to walk 15 minutes to the "city" and 15 minutes to the beach.+ Free Kajaks at the Hotel! There is no direct way to the entrance. If you come at high tide you need to make your way to walk arround the water to get there. The bungalow was a bit humid and felt narrow inside.

Gutes Frühstück mit kleinem Restaurant. Privater Pool vor Standhaus aber nur eine Reinigung bei Ankunft, schnell voller Blätter, für uns nur bei Ankunft nutzbar. Freundliches Personal.

• Hanna (10/5): Beautiful and quiet place - Really beautiful place in the middle of the mangroves. The staff was amazing, always smiling and very helpful. The food was also great. All the garbage coming in with the tide is really depressing, but this is a problem everywhere.

• Lecky (10/5): Hidden paradise - Paradise in a coconut grove! We come to Muk alot and can't believe we didn't know about this place! So pretty and secluded, private. Like an AI picture on a sunny day. So green , grassy lawns and facing a mini mangrove forest. Get up for sunrise - or leave your curtains open a tiny bit and watch from bed.. Kayaks are free. go read your book in the mangroves in high tide. Free bikes so go around the village and pier. Amazing staff. You can also walk to mermaids bay. Low tide is best.. i went .morning. was a 2 HR round trip walk in proper shoes with lovely secluded swim spot along the way. Amazing local Thai food here omg. We went here for dinner each night even after we left to a new place . We don't understand any bad reviews on that. Unless those ppl order Western food or something....this island isn't the place for that. Ask them to cook you local food not on menu. Geng Gatit (fish coconut curry), haw mook (stream fish curry) seafood curry powder and the best local dish on island Chu chee Fish (ate every Day). Did not wanna leave. Treat yourself for a night or 2. Nothing! However....People giving bad reviews on food and smells etc..... this island has unreal local ingredients ...order local food only. All the Coconuts are grown herez and cashews grow everywhere. If you want luxury with proper infrastructure go to Phuket. However the smell issues are everywhere... Bangkok, Phuket, phi PHI and everywhere inc. here. Look beyond this and the Island trash problem ( which is being addressed) you will see it's paradise.
• Mark (7/5): A lovely place to stay! - Friendly staff and peaceful location adjacent to a mangrove. ‘Deluxe’ bungalows do not have a small plunge pool. Photographs used for room were somewhat misleading in this regard and included the larger ‘villa’ which do.
• Mark (7/5): Sweet but needs better hospitality - Its In a white area and the room is small but comfortable enough - and the little pool you have was nice to soak in it every now and then Comparing it to other places it del that the people where not so warm - it didn’t have the right energy - something was off - they told us not to cook in the room - it felt like we couldn’t be so relaxed in the place and always making sure we payed for every thing we took

It is one of the quietest locations on the island, and the six bungalows are well spaced out in a beautifully planned mature garden with plenty of bird life. The mangroves mean any noise from the longtail boats is muffled, which can be quite a nuisance on other parts of the island. It's still only a 20 minute walk or 5-minute scooter/tuktuk ride to Charlie Beach, and the same distance from the main town and restaurants - and there are other bars and restaurants even closer. The restaurant on-site makes one of the best green curries we had in Thailand, and the staff are lovely. There are free bicycles guests can borrow to pedal into town, or hire a scooter through reception. We stayed a week and wished we could have stayed two. Koh Mook is a simple and relatively undeveloped island. In return for this simplicity and a relaxed way of life, service levels are a little lower. The toilets do often smell, and the mangroves are not suitable for swimming or sunbathing. If you are looking for a luxurious resort or perfect facilities, go to Sivalai Resort. But if you are looking for a laid-back and quiet place to stay, with some extremely friendly people, it's perfect. Some of the guests we met to come back every year.

• Fiona (7/5): Had a great stay overall and it made a great base to explore from. - Had a lovely welcome and were shown to our room which was lovely and clean and had a great view. very easy to get tuk tuks to the beach or town all at a set price. The access was slightly tricky when the tide was high. also the pools on the deck are not inviting as they look in the pictures.
• Clive (8/5): Pleasant small hotel in a quiet location with helpful staff but ... - A nice little property in a quiet location although the area is very scruffy and, like so many other places around, would welcome a good clean up. Breakfasts are good, the views (especially when the tide is in) are nice and the staff helpful and welcoming We did not expect such a small room with not any closet or drawer space at all. Wouldn't it be good if they spent some of their money they make from the tourists on cleaning up the area which is unfortunately, like the rest of Koh Mook, a tip
• David (8/5): Very good - Pleasant stay on Koa Mook. Good access to Charlie beach. Place was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good food great service. Like a lot of Koa Mook it’s a shallow island so the sea goes out a long way. The area around the hotel is Mangrove. But the outlook was good, much better than other properties we saw on the island.
• Mads (7/5): Good - Really amazing place with lovely view, remote and authentic vibe. The staff were super sweet and helpful. Close to the beach and easy to reach any area of the island by scooter. Very nice breakfast. The small private pool was nice to look at, but we didn’t use it too much, because the water was a bit cloudy. They have really efficient airport shuttle that is not included in the hotel price.
• Mark (10/5): Fantastic stay at Mook Tamarind - The location is tranquil and easily connected to the beach and nearby town through taxis for 100baht. The hotel is family run and everyone is very friendly. The food is great in the restaurant. The room was comfortable and clean with fantastic views. I would recommend taking the emerald cave tour that the hotel provide which includes a full tour of the island including emerald cave on your own private long tail boat for only 1000 baht. Nothing
