• Gen (9/5): Lovely hotel with great staff - Very comfortable hotel in good location, staff very responsive. Breakfast was pretty good. The hot buffet was small, and we would have preferred eggs cooked to order, but the cold and sweet buffet extensive and regularly replenished. No complaints!

We were told to keep the window open which we had done and there was noise outside until 4am. Whe we told the staff this they literally shrugged.

• HENRI (5/5): - Nous avons aimé l'emplacement. La réceptionniste nous annonce un surclassement à notre arrivée. Super !!! Malheureusement déçu par les prestations. Chambre à 17°, télévision en panne, paume de douche percée. Linge de lit malodorant. Salle de bain très peu équipée (petit bout de savon) pour deux. Dommage !!! On ne reviendra plus dans cet hôtel, mais vue le nombre de touriste....notre commentaire ne sera certainement pas utile à l'amélioration des prestations.

My only disappointment was that upon arrival the spa was already fully booked for massages for the duration of our stay (3 nights). It would have been nice to have a massage since we were staying at a hotel that included a spa. Other spa amenities were available, however.

L'unica osservazione, che non cambia il mio ottimo giudizio è che le dotazioni fornite per lavarsi erano un po' scarne, non c'era il balsamo o lo shampo ma un unico prodotto per lavarsi in doccia e una micro saponetta per il lavandino.Solo un consiglio per albergo non una critica, aggiungerei un po' di dotazioni che sono apprezzate.

• Elliott-Smith (10/5): Beautiful hotel! - Such a lovely hotel right in the heart of Petit France. We had the Deluxe room and it was enormous! Beautifully and tastefully appointed with a huge comfy bed. Couldn't have wished for a better hotel, it really added to our Strasbourg experience.

Es hat zwar noch anderen Kaffee (mit Kocher und Pulver) - ist aber nicht das gleiche. Auch jeden Tag eine neue Flasche mit Wasser (eine langt auch) wäre schön.

The linens were exceptional- it felt so good to slide into bed after a long day out. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Not one thing.

Et la terrasse en omein cœur de ville est grande. Le spa est petit surtout qu'il faut payer 15euros pour 1h. Je comprends qu'il faille reserver pour éviter trop de monde est que cela.reste agréable. Mais faire payer pour un si petit spa est un peu exagérer.

Der Wellnessbereich ist klein, aber nach einem langen Besichtigungstag sehr einladend und willkommen. Hotelgäste müssen für die Benutzung des Wellnessbereich bezahlen. Hier müsste nachgebessert werden und nur beiExternen eine Stundengebühr für die Nutzung des Wellness erhoben werden.

Bonne sécurité Un salarié d’accueil (un homme avec des lunettes sur l’accueil 11/03 le soir ) son service était pas bien , c’est un peu dommage. On l’a demandé le transport au Parlement Européen , il n’a pas nous répondu. Lendemain c’est son collègue autre salarié sans lunettes nous a aidé . La fille pendant la journée 11/03 elle était très gentille et professionnelle. Désolée on ne sait pas leurs noms .

La chambre était impeccable : très propre, parfaitement insonorisée et aménagée avec des équipements de qualité. On s’y sent vraiment bien dès l’arrivée. S’il fallait trouver un petit point d’amélioration, la présence d’un réfrigérateur dans la chambre serait un vrai plus. Le personnel est quant à lui irréprochable : professionnel, attentionné et toujours disponible. Le SPA est également un grand atout de l’établissement : espaces propres, ambiance apaisante et installations très agréables pour se détendre. En résumé, un séjour de grande qualité que je recommande sans hésiter !

Easy check in and the room exceeded our expectations. Beautiful antique furniture that was functional. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the extra pillows in the amours. The shower was nice with an overhead and a wand, but it was hard to keep water off the floor of the rest of the bathroom. The separate toilet from the bathroom is a matter of taste. The room was very quiet so we slept well, and we appreciated the available Netflix (our account) and YouTube. The heating and air conditioner controls were either disconnected or not effective. The room was still mostly comfortable as to temperature.

• Catherine (8/5): Lovely hotel in lovely location. - It was a lovely room, very spacious and grand, but having stayed before I did prefer the first room we had which was the one pictured in the brochure. The hotel were very accommodating and when I had inadvertently booked the Saturday night instead of the Sunday they were prepared to change this although theoretically the booking was nonrefundable. Having stayed at the hotel before I was slightly disappointed with the room compared with the first one but nonetheless it was spacious, comfortable and warm. Also, having paid significantly more for the room on the Saturday night, rather than the Sunday when we actually stayed, it would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary breakfast or similar as the whole room rate was nonrefundable. There was no English breakfast tea provided and no milk and when my partner asked, he was given some mini cartons of UHT milk all of which were solid and quite clearly mouldy and out of date. A small fridge or mini bar with milk for teas and coffees would have been a nice touch. Nonetheless, we very much enjoyed our day.

• Eugénie (9/5): Fabuleux week-end, magnifique chambre spacieuse - Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans une chambre Prestige à l’hôtel du bouclier d’or. La chambre était très bien décorée, calme, propre, très grande chambre et salle de bain, et une super literie. La localisation de l’hôtel est parfaite, en plein cœur de Strasbourg, à 10min à pieds de la gare, proche des commerces, restaurants et bars. Le personnel était charmant. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel !

• Cornelia (10/5): Immer wieder gerne - Kleines diskretes Hotel im Herzen von Straßburg, super zentral und dennoch ruhig. Wir waren schon mehrfach dort. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, die Bäder modern. Das Frühstück kann sich sehen lassen und der Hund darf auch mit. Das kleine feine Spa muss vorab reserviert werden - es lohnt sich! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger Abzug in der B-Note: das Parken. Das Hotel bietet einen Parkservice. Wer den nicht in Anspruch nimmt, muss ins Parkhaus und ein gutes Stück laufen.

• ARZU ŞELALE (8/5): Gayet güzeldi. - Konum çok iyi, kahvaltı idare eder, odalar büyük ve zevkli döşenmiş, banyo büyük. Diğer odalardan sesler biraz fazla geliyordu, yerler ahşap olduğundan sanırım.

• robert (8/5): great location if you don't mind not parking at the hotel - The furniture is amazing, everything from the sheets, the curtains, the armoires, the painting was either quality antiques, superior quality, out of the ordinary for a hotel. It's always a bit of a bore having to sit down at reception being explained all the extras during checkin. A very minor issue.
