- Abdulaziz (2/5): - My stay at this hotel was far from satisfactory. The staff was consistently unfriendly, and the issues began immediately. I discovered bedbugs in the bed, and when I requested a room change, the staff refused, claiming they were fully booked. Despite offering to pay extra for an upgrade, the receptionist declined, leaving me with no choice but to stay in the infested room, with no offer of a refund or alternative accommodation. The situation worsened on the third day when a new receptionist, Nihan, called my room at 1 AM, demanding my girlfriend leave the property. Despite my girlfriend being registered as a guest, Nihan claimed she couldn't find her in the system, which was a result of the front desk's initial error during check-in. Even though I showed her the reservation details on the app and the email, she dismissed them, insisting on an official email from Expedia. We were forced to wait in the reception until 2:30 AM to resolve the issue after an Expedia agent called the hotel and sent an official email. The service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Upon speaking with the hotel owner, their explanation was that it was difficult to find professional employees after the pandemic. Furthermore, the room's cleanliness was appalling, with visible dirt from previous guests. While the hotel's location is convenient, being in the middle of Istiklal Street and close to the Galata Tower, the poor service and lack of care make it impossible to recommend this hotel.

- Max (4/5): - We had our flight delayed and arrived later than the breakfast was served. We had paid one extra night prior to our arrival so we could do early check it. Considering the delay, we just have them 50€ more and they didn’t even assisted us in getting something from the breakfast. Their English is also very bad.

Breakfast u have to go to another hotel to have and air conditioning u can’t change the temperature and u have to call the receptionist to change it. We asked for an iron and they gave us a broke one and didn’t have another one and too dirty iron table. The hotel is too old maybe for 50 years they didn’t do any maintenance too many stains on floor and walls and the bathroom was too dirty. THEY CHARGE US FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER AND SAID ITS NOT FREE EVEN THEY WROTE THAT ITS FREE.

However, there is a club next to the hotel that plays loud music late into the night, making it difficult to fall asleep. Breakfast is served in a different hotel located a few streets away. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful, but the condition of the room is only okay, with no minibar and an outdated water heater. Additionally, the walls and ceilings are not soundproofed, making the noise from neighboring rooms easily audible. Overall, the stay at the hotel was okay, but due to the lack of peace and quiet, the location and building, we would not choose to stay there again.

- Sündüs (4/5): - Wir waren 9tage dort.. hätten wir die Möglichkeit gehabt hätten wir gewechselt… dann wollten wir im Haupt Hotel, das wo wir waren war das kleinere, sind sie uns gar nicht entgegen gekommen wollten sie noch 100€ nochmals pro Tag wo wir schon 1500 bezahlt hatten… Zimmer mini man kann sich kaum achwas gar nicht bewegen sobald der Koffer offen steht gibt es keine Möglichkeit sich zu bewegen… Dusche Katastrophe nach jeder Dusche stand regelrecht das Wasser im Zimmer Schuhe ausziehen war gar nicht möglich, zum Frühstück wir hatten mit gebucht, musste man ins Haupt Hotel ca 5 min laufen…. Das einzig positive waren die jungs an der mini reception sie haben morgens ihren Tee und Kaffee mit uns geteilt…könnte noch einiges schreiben….schade

- Nadine (10/5): - Maroon Tomtom is an excellent choice. The hotel is modern. The furniture and bedding are new. The staff is very attentive to details and responds to requests immediately. They changed our room as soon as I told them the hairdryer isn’t working. Cleaning happens daily along with changing towels & refilling hair&body care bottles. Tomtom is apparently a sister hotel to Maroon Pera where breakfast is served. It is good enough. Yet, same menu daily. Location wise, Tomtom is exactly in the middle of Istiklal street, and away 2mins walking to the metro & bus station through one of the side streets after the hotel. Very convenient for shopping & close to different transportation methods. I recommend not following the brochures provided at the reception (one of the receptionists in Pera) to restaurants as they are unfairly overpriced. I really dislike this misguidance. It is important to note that pictures are exactly the same yet on 0.5zoom. The rooms are small and so is the lobby.

Also, the water would come out of the shower and make the whole bathroom including room wet. Additionally, the service is very poor, the hotel will offer you a taxi to go to the airport and promise you a price and conditions but once you take the taxi and arrive at your destination the price so as the conditions will change.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and comfortable rooms - The location is perfect right next to istiklal, close to all the shops, cafes etc. We had no problem with the location it was safe, check in was easy, helpful staff, they let us check in early which was nice. The rooms were new and comfortable with a big tv. It can get a little noisy at night which is normal because istiklal is a busy location but It wasn’t too bad we wasn’t really bothered by it. Will consider to rebook in the future.

Konum mükemmel. - Aslında başka bir otelde rezervasyon yapmıştım ama rezervasyon çakışması sebebiyle Hotels.com tarafından Maroon Tomtom' a aktarıldı rezervasyonum. Gitmeden önce tereddütlerim olsa da otele girdikten sonra hepsi tamamen ortadan kalktı. Otel yeni yapılmış,içeri girdiğinizde yeni mobilya kokusunu bile alabiliyorsunuz. Personel oldukça ilgili ve kibar. Yatak aşırı rahat. Konumu zaten İstiklal caddesinin tam ortası. Güvenle ve rahatça kalınabilir yerlerden.
