- Wing (10/5): - We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Natur. The hotel is very clean, room is nice, and breakfast is good. There are pool table, dart, sauna and hot tub to relax after a long day. The owner and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The surrounding of the hotel is incredibly gorgeous. We wish that we stay longer! Will definitely stay there again if we are in Akureyri

The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of fresh options. The owners are exceptionally welcoming and go out of their way to ensure a wonderful stay.

It was loud when we arrived and contruction still going on at 6pm and construction (hammering) started early. Place was noisy until 9pm. We had a room close to reception and it was loud. Might be better to ensure room is far away from reception or dining area. Great walks outside and a tower to climb. Saw whales breahing from dining room

We loved climbing the "tower"( I believe it is a renovated silo) for a bird's eye view of the land and the fjord, and enjoyed being able to walk the expansive property right down to the water. We hope we have a chance to visit again someday!

Le aree comuni sono ben tenute e c’è la possibilità di godere della zona relax, di giocare a biliardo o a freccette, ci sono anche varie passeggiate che partono dall’hotel e che si possono fare in autonomia. I luoghi dove godere della vista non mancano. Tappa obbligata.

- Lang (10/5): - So this hotel was about 15 minute drive NE of Akureyri. If you want to be in the city within walking distance of things, not the place for you. If you want to walk out and see the fjord and mountains in the distance, it's perfect. My twin room is nothing special. Basic, but was clean. Shower had good water pressure. Bed was a little on the firm side, but I slept fine. The amenities were great. Restaurant was really good for both breakfast and dinner. Hote has a free coffee/hot chocolate machine that was basically accessible all day. Pretty much similar to the ones in the gas stations that they charge you 5 bucks for. I'm almost certain I drank my nightly rates worth in that alone. It also has a lower level with a pool table and dart board, etc. If you're with a large group of people and want a space to chill in, it's the perfect set up. Would definitely go back.

The rooms were clean and well-kept and the picturesque backdrop of the ocean, mountains and midnight sun was stunning. Breakfast the next morning was also included and delicious. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We had a very relaxing night and loved the morning walk on the trails on property after enjoying a satisfying breakfast. Last but not the least, waking up to the scenery of glacier as backdrop for an arriving cruise ship is truly fascinating.

- Franziska (8/5): - Ruhiges, schönes Hotel in der Nähe von Akureyri mit sehr hilfsbereitem Personal, einem Aussichtsturm und einem Hot Pot. Außerdem gab es die Möglichkeit Dart, Billard oder Tischtennis zu spielen. Das war sehr nice. Die Einrichtung war einfach, jedoch ausreichend für eine Nacht. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen vor Ort waren gut.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel staff --nor anyone, for that matter-- were nowhere to be seen when we arrived, but the management was available via a phone in the reception area, and they told us to come back later. We explored the very pleasant town of Akureyri, which is just a short drive away, and when we returned, the owner's son greeted us and engaged us in friendly conversation during the check in process. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. There was a common area with a kitchen, adjacent laundry room, and an observation deck that overlooks the stunning Eyjafjörður. I would love to stay there again.

Some rooms come with a patio. There is a conservatory as well as a hot tub. Very reasonable price, friendly staff - i would definitely recommend and will stay again.

- Allen (10/5): Nice Room Great Night Sky - The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking a Bay, or Fiord. (not sure of the correct name) There are two building that you are able to stay in at Hotel Natur. The front building is nice and has a silo with a lookout tower where you are able to look out over the water. We did not stay in the front building. Across the street is another building high on the hill. We stayed there. It was clean, and private, and a great place to look for the Aurora Borealis (northern lights) It had a nice balcony and OH WHAT A VIEW! Look at my pictures. This room had a kitchenette and a nice bathroom, and was very spacious. You need to be aware that this hotel is 8-10 miles outside of town. If you are looking for northern lights, it's where you want to be.
- KENNETH (10/5): Great location, great accommodations - Very very nice hotel guesthouse. Rooms were very clean and in a beautiful area. We loved the kitchen area and used it for breakfast and dinners. Saving us some money. Stayed two days, wish we could have stayed longer. Great location close to the whale watching ships.

We stayed in the rooms across the road from the main hotel and it was great! these units are new, clean and have a common area with a kitchen, coffee maker and great view of the water. The hotel sits on the bay across from Akurery which has great views of the water. wonderful family manages the hotel and were available for questions and helped any time.
- Verified traveler (10/5): comfortable bed and spacious room - we had a late check in, and the owner was very accommodating. Very comfortable bed. The upstairs just got a little too hot, had to turn the heater off. Bathroom is great, clean and big.
