• Luis (10/5): Especial y agradable - El hotel es un edificio del siglo XVII con detalles en todos los rincones. El desayuno estuvo muy completo con productos locales. La ubicación del hotel es excelente para visitar la localidad y hacer excursiones. El trato ha sido muy personal. Al tratarse de un edificio de 400 años, la habitación no está suficientemente insonorizada.

• HUMBERTO JESÚS (10/5): EXTRAORDINARIO - Somos una pareja que nos gusta viajar a comarcas y hospedarnos en ellas para luego visitar sus pueblos. Nuestras estancias han sido muy buenas, y tenemos que destacar que los apartamentos de turismo rural en España son muy buenos. Esta vez decidimos visitar Teruel y concretamente la comarca de de Gudar-Javalambre y elegimos para hospedarnos Rubielos de Mora. El pueblo, como todos ellos, preciosos, limpios y respirando historia por todas partes. El Hotel donde establecimos nuestra estancia: HOTEL LOS LEONES. Es un antiguo palacio restaurado y a su frente toda una familia. Con una decoración donde lo antiguo tiene su protagonismo, pero sin dejar a un lado, alguna decoración contemporánea, lo cual produce un sincretismo muy armonioso. Desde la llegada la atención fue excelente, las habitaciones cómodas, limpias, amplias. El desayuno servido con amabilidad, pendientes siempre de que no faltase nada. La cena perfecta. Termino diciendo que es un hotel MUY, MUY RECOMENDABLE

La restauracion del edificio, la decoración, las salas comunes, el restaurante formado por pequeñas salas casi privadas, incluso con chimenea una de ellas, que amablemente encendieron porque la noche había refrescado. Exquisita cena al igual que el desayuno, servidos de forma excelente. Encantador el trato con los dueños, además de ilustrativo por comentarios sobre la zona, costumbres y una de sus joyas, la trufa. Aparcamiento propio lo cual es de agradecer, aunque no esté anexo al hotel En cuanto a la habitación, detalles agradables como las gruesas y suaves toallas. Cama cómoda y en nuestro caso con un salóncito anexo. Se disculpa el subir las empinadas escaleras por todo el encanto del lugar. No dudarémos en repetir este hotel si volvemos por la zona No poder estar más días.

• W236745 (10/5): Un parell de dies per desconnectar i menjar bé - L'esmorzar ha estat fabulós i complet, servit a la taula: iogurt casolà amb llavors i muesli, suc de taronja natural, pa torrat, ous remenats, pernil, bescuit i cafè al gust. L'habitació a la segona planta molt tranquil·la i amb aire condicionat. L'edifici antic molt ben restaurat. Molt bona atenció del Manolo i la Pilar, oferint-nos veure diverses habitacions i escollir la més tranquil·la. Lloc molt agradable per passar un cap de setmana tranquil (fora de festes). Més endolls a l'habitació i algun proper a la tauleta per recarregar el mòbil per la nit. I més perxes a l'armari o penjadors a l'habitació per la roba.

Aunque tiene 2 estrellas, es digno de 4 mínimo Está en el centro de la ciudad, es un edificio señorial que está rehabilitado guardando la esencia del mismo. No tiene ascensor, pero las escaleras te hacen valorar, más aún, la belleza del hotel La decoración sencilla, cómoda, perfectamente ambientada al lugar Está super limpio. Me llamó la atención la ropa de cama y del baño por su calidad y por los bordados en dorado del nombre del hotel. No pongo foto de la habitación porque son tal y como las publicitan El desayuno completo, tostadas, mermelada, mantequilla, cereales, muesli, jamón de Teruel, huevo revuelto, café o café con leche y destacar el yogur natural casero buenísimo. Tiene restaurante, pero tienes que reservar, nosotros no lo hicimos y no lo probamos. El personal, los dueños un encanto y muy amables. Para repetir sin lugar a dudas.

I wish we'd have tried the restaurant for dinner, but we arrived still full from a nice lunch elsewhere. The towels were huge and plush. • Joanne (9/5): Superb - Right in the centre of the old town with a little supermarket just around the corner, this historic building sits on one side of a residential square where it serves dinner by candlelight. The owners are lovely - so friendly and caring - Manolo carried my bag up and down the steep stairs to the room. It is furnished with antiques, retaining the feel of the building's history, yet also has good AC and double-glazed windows. The food was excellent - my king prawn salad was beautifully-presented too. Breakfast is served to you - fresh orange juice, homemade yogurt and granola, Teruel jamón, scrambled egg, toast and jam. You can stop easily outside the hotel to unload, but parking is outside the old town. Rubielos is a lovely town of stone and timber houses; local regulations prevent any outside drinking after midnight. I had a room with a 'seating area' and balcony - the seating area contained a large antique desk and one armchair; the balcony was 50-60 cm deep so not really usable. I didn't miss a tv but would have liked a fridge. The bathroom mirror was too high for me to see in and the only other mirror was antique-fogged and unusable - please consider putting a shaving/magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I thought the price (175€) was excessive for the level of comfort the room provided.

Room was very comfortable with air con and nice touches like monogram towels and sheets. Food was amazing and such good value, 3 courses, wine, bread, water sitting in beautiful surroundings in the Plaza for 28.50 euros. The hosts were so helpful showing us all the renovations they have done to the property and showing us where to park our car in their covered parking area. The girls working in the hotel are all so helpful and pleasant, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delightful and served in the downstairs dining room or in the outside courtyard. Everything was wonderful can’t think of anything we would change.

• John (9/5): A great hotel with plenty of character - The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the additional evening meal was very special by candlelight in the square in front of the hotel. The town is very rural and quite old and worth a wander. It is a good place to stay when travelling through Spain although a winding 30 minutes off the A23 motorway. Nothing really. The total package was bit more expensive than we thought but then you pay for what you get.

The best part are the owners, Manolo and Pilar, the most charming couple we have met in a while, their attention to service was fantastic. I can speak basic Spanish (Spanish resident) and the conversations were lovely. We had dinner at the hotel, the best decision we have made in a long time. The food, cooked by our host's wife, was exquisite. Simply one of the best meals we have had in a long time, beautifully presented in our own private dinning room where our host had lit us a roaring log fire. We had such a lovely night with our friends and made fantastic memories. The breakfast (same room) was really good. Everything was home prepared and of the best quality. We loved our room, so quaint and original. Manolo showed us how he restored it 20 years ago, fascinating. We are coming back again very soon, maybe just for the food. Thank you Manolo. The sun didn't shine much and it was a bit chilly, really... the only thing we could find that would have made our trip better and that's not Manolo's fault.

Views (we were on the top floor) were of mountains. We ate in the restaurant and the 'menu del dia' was excellent. On top of everything else, the hosts were friendly, helpful, and interesting. • John (9/5): Unique hotel stay in rural Spain - Manolo and his few staff made us feel very welcome and helped with all our queries despite limited English. The evening meal was outstanding with candle lights and eating in the open air outside the hotel in the square. Breakfast was equally good and the olde worlde atmosphere of the hotel was great. Car parking was nearby in a specially reserved place for the hotel. Make sure your sat nav gets you to Rubielos de Mora and not Mora de Rubielos which is 10 mile away. Once at the right location the hotel is a little hard to find among the narrow streets but once there is a real gem.

• juan maria (10/5): viaje en el tiempo - Es como volver al pasado, pero con aire acondicionado; hotel en una casa de 400 años rehabilitada manteniendo todo lo original posible, lleno de objetos y detalles decorativos; hay que preguntarle a Manolo, magnifico anfitrión. El desayuno rico, rico. Hoteles hay muchos pero como éste no. Solo falta el caballo amarrado en la puerta.

• Benny (10/5): Bilresa genom Europa - Helt fantastiskt, rikt på historia som ägaren berättade om. Både middad och frukost var rena gourmet upplevelser. Hit kommer vi gärna igen. Bästa stället på vår resa från Sverige till Spanien.
