Room was good, maybe slightly dated. Wished their pool and sauna hours of operation was longer. Overall, nice hotel to stay at that is accessible to everywhere, which was very convenient.

Probably we were in an older wing, since the rug of the hall changed while we were walking towards our room. Overall, the room was clean, but the shower seemed needed better maintenance, Since you can see some mold in the walls and corners.

- Amanda (4/5): - The stay was overall mediocre. Although the location was fantastic and food tasty, we was disappointed to find two cockroaches in our room in the first night. We immediately requested to move rooms the next day, but unfortunately did not enjoy the stay as much as we wish we did. It’s a shame because we came to Barcelona for our close friend’s wedding and had a lot of friends staying in the hotel. We’d likely not stay here again.

The family room is spacious but it needs serious renovation and the mattress is squeaky.. However, standard room was very good. The rooftop restaurant is nice and the food is pretty good. Staffs are very friendly.

- Daniel (8/5): A bit disappointed - The breakfast way over priced…… The roof top staff were rude. Hotel is continently located . They recommended a car service to pick up from the port and take to the airport. It was a taxi. I spoke with other taxis afterwards and I was way over charged. I would stay again because room was comfy and it is right in the middle of a good part of town.

The breakfast included was great, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed juice along with Spain’s best meat and cheeses, included. We actually cancelled a reservation at another hotel and booked the last leg of our trip at this hotel. We also had some schedule changes and they were very accommodating. Friendly staff, 24/7 and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The hotel is also convenient located near touriat attractions and just a short walk from an Aeroport Bus. We would stay here again when we visit Barcelona again.

After long day of exploration, one can relax on their roof top bar to end the night with some nice views. We faced an issue where a cockroach was spotted during our check in process and after reporting our room was changed immediately. We didn't face any issue after that and everything was pleasant. Would definitely recommend!

Rooftop pool and bar were amazing. Really loved this hotel. There was some construction happening on my floor, but it didn’t bother me. My initial room key didn’t work to open my door so concierge quickly switched me rooms. Had a wonderful stay!

- John (10/5): - I was so pleased from the moment I walked up to the hotel. Perfect location, and it’s a very esteemed hotel. It’s right across the street from a Rolex store. I felt like I was in the Beverly Hills of Barcelona. Within minutes I walked pass so many great restaurant's, and bars. It’s just a 2 minute walk from a popular street that was extremely lively in the evening. So much to do! Stay here if you are looking for a great stay in Barcelona.

It's located in a great part of the city with numerous places to eat and shop within walking distance. The metro and regional underground train station is nearby and convenient.

- Ramiro (8/5): - The hotel and staff are awesome. Location is great as well as close to so many nice restaurants. The only downfall was the bed. It was horrible and extremely lumpy. I thought it was only us, but as we checked out, two other independent couples complaint about it also. You will not get a good night sleep. We told the front desk and unfortunately, it is not their fault, they said there was nothing they could do about even though many people complained about them.

- edward (4/5): - We paid 111.09 in local taxes, then they charged us an additional 75 in taxes at check out. In addition. Inappropriate to put guests in a room that abuts an active construction zone. Inappropriate to tell guests that they should call you after less than 4 hours sleep when lots of noise. Inappropriate to tell guests no one else on the same floor is reporting noise. What is point of this comment? Am I making it up? Inappropriate to call about switching rooms right away after we agreed upon a plan to switch rooms at a convenient time for the guest. Then say ok so you want to stay in the room and not switch? No, I want to switch rooms at the agreed upon schedule, not when a convenient time happens to come up for the hotel. Inappropriate to offer free breakfast as the only monetary compensation. Two of us are gluten free and did not choose the breakfast to begin with because we will be going to gluten free bakeries for breakfast. A credit equaling the 4 breakfasts to our credit card would have been more appropriate, but it seems that the hotel or Daniel has only one approach to solving problems. Will also provide this feedback on other review services online. Hotel is beautiful, check in was friendly, but this experience demonstrates to me the lack of customer service skills when there is a problem. Again, which would have been completely avoided if guests were not put in rooms next to an active construction zone.

Hotel itself could use some maintenance, inside the room there was a water damage to the floor and door frames, from poorly installed shower cabins, 2 out of 3 elevators weren’t running and lobby seating area was worn out. On the plus side, beds and linens were comfortable, room cozy and a rooftop bar/restaurant offered fabulous views, great drinks and atmosphere.

- Maria Christina (10/5): - We loved Hotel Condes de Barcelona. The staff were all so friendly especially Julieta and Jackson. They were very helpful and always made us feel welcomed. The entire hotel smelled so luxurious and was super clean. The location is the best in Barcelona as it is central to all the tourist sites and within a block from all the luxury shopping. The only negative I would comment would be the ac system as it it was not true to the temperature we set it too. We had to sleep with the balcony door open just to get cold air in our room. Luckily the weather was cool enough to not make it an issue. Overall, we highly rate this hotel 100/100. You won't regret staying. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and family, and we will definitely stay here again.
