Lovely large bath for the kids & a shower with a proper shower head & great water pressure. Blackout curtains was helpful for the early morning sun when we wanted to sleep in. The owner was very accommodating when my card didn't want to go through during booking & kept the room for me anyway. Thank you Aircon wasn't working. It wasn't working the night before we arrived according to the owner. The first night we struggled to sleep because of the heat. The following night we were given fans. The matress wasn't comfortable.

The Anneliese did try bringing in a plumber but by the next morning it wouldn't flush again. We were advised by Annelie that they didn't have much water and they were using a tank, so we had to take shorter showers. That shouldn't have been put on guests but we complied nontheless

Everything was lovely and she was so accomodating with us and was on hand if we needed anything The aircon did not work but it was not too hot so we didn't t need to use it.

- Pae (10/5): Very pleasant stay - The place is clean , neat and located at a good neighbourhood It’s a gated community , the gates are open till 11 PM except for the Main gate which wasn’t easy to find at night. My husband and I struggled to locate the Main gate until we were lucky enough to be directed by a security car. I suggest writing down clear directions for those of us that are new to the area. Other than that it was a very good place to stay

The rooms are neat and clean, with top-quality finishes and very quiet. The bathroom and the shower were really great. The Aviary is located near top-quality malls, shops, and hospitals, and the area is safe. Our stay at The Aviary was totally enjoyable and the highlight of the week! There was nothing really that needed attention or spoiled our stay. The Aviary is a top-notch guesthouse.

The shower pressure didn’t work, couldn’t shower properly and didn’t have warm water. The bath was fine, but prefer to shower. There was also alot of small black ants, but thats everywhere, so that didn’t bother really, thought its worth a mention!

When we had water interruptions due to maintenance by the municipality , the owner bought us water and also organised a water tank to refill the jojo tank on the property to ensure that we had water. It's clean and neat and spacious, my baby could crawl around freely and the kids had enough space to play inside the room.Very Comfortable beds, and I love the option that there is a shower and a bathtub. The kitchen is very well equipped and was just what I needed to prepare bottles for my baby, etc. It's very quiet at night so we could get a good nights rest. Lo e love love this place will definitely book again! Nothing negative
