Stairs. You name it. Awesome rooms thoughtfully appointed and HUGE bathroom - a rare treat in Italy. Antonio, Kaci, and Salvatore are truely gracious hosts. They helped curate our days in Tuscany and every recommendation they had was a hit. Absolutely recommend trying this place out.

Antonio, the owner, gave us several valuable tips from what to do and where to go to the best bottle of wine to take back home. All of them were great. • Roslyn (10/5): The Best Place to Stay in the Tuscan Countryside - Our stay at Castello delle Serre was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Italy. Staying in a castle was such a unique experience and the hosts, Kaci and Antonio, were so gracious and friendly. The castle is within a small, walled village that was so quaint. Walking around the village in the morning was a true immersion in the culture of Italy. Our rooms were spacious, well equipped and super clean. We had dinner onsite the day we arrived and it was so, so delicious. A dining experience we will remember for a long time and so relaxing after traveling by train from Florence to Cuisi. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and delicious and served on a lovely terrace that is so serene. The cappuccinos and lattes were the perfect way to start our day. There is a little bistro type restaurant 100 ft from the castle, Nanero, where we had a tapos style dinner and some great conversation with the owner. The pool area is large with plenty of seating and the views of the Tuscan countryside are spectacular. We had a car for exploring. Antonio asked us what we wanted to see and each day he would give is maps or put the GPS coordinates in our phone for ease of navigation. His recommendations were spot on and we had so much fun! There are wineries, shopping, beautiful towns and so many sites to see close to Rapolano. I can't wait to bring my family back to experience Castello delle Serre! There is not one thing I didn't like!

• Cindy (10/5): Perfection -- a gorgeous home base in Tuscany - This place is beautiful and the tower suite is magical -- stay there if at all possible and stay long enough to enjoy it (at least 3 nights -- we stayed 6)! With a rental car you can easily do day trips to Chianti, Sienna, Piensa, San Gimignano, Cortona, Montepulciano, the coast, and even Florence. The owners, Kaci and Antonio, will help you plan meals, outings, cooking classes, wine tastings, whatever you feel like doing each day -- so no need to plan before you arrive, just have a wish list of the kinds of things you want to do. And make sure to ask them where the best gelato spots are in each town! Bear in mind, this is basically a B&B, no restaurant on site, but a lovely little breakfast every day and several delicious restaurants within easy walking distance in this sweet Tuscan village, and endless options for the great restaurants just a short drive away. Leave time to relax and see what it's like to live in a castle with a perfect pool and views for miles. Can't recommend the Tower Suite highly enough, it's like having your own apartment, and the AC works great throughout the castle which was helpful at the height of summer. Highly recommend and we hope to go back!

• Nicholas (10/5): The perfect Tuscan experience - It was a real pleasure to experience Antonio and Kaci’s warm hospitality at Castello delle Serre. Aside from the venue's perfect, Tuscan charm, rarely have we encountered hosts who took such evident pride in making us feel at home. It is clear how much they each enjoy giving you the ultimate Tuscan experience. Antonio has a comprehensive knowledge of both the local area and the wider reaches of Tuscany and Umbria and gave us some great tips on the best places to visit. The castello itself has also been beautifully restored by Antonio and his father and could not have given my family a better experience of this fabulous part of the world. As I said to them as we left, it is wonderful to see a family making a living through their passion and generosity.

Owners are of great help, promptly answering, giving great advises, communication was excellent. It was very nice to have a tour with the owner and hear a great story about the castle itself and how family came in its posession. We will be back. I would recomend more breakfast options.

The owners/hosts were incredible. Antonio loved this property and genuinely cared about the guests. The castle is very close to a main highway and ideally situated close to Siena and midway of Florence and Assisi. The pool is an ideal place to rest and refresh after a day of visits. • Mihaly (10/5): Brilliant stay, fantastic location and -most important- super helpful, lovely owners - This is just a fantastic property in a fantastic location. It's a fully refurbished castle once owned by nobilities, and you feel that way from the moment you enter the premises. The views are amazing too from the windows. The location is strategic, from where you can easily explore most of the famous Tuscan small towns and wine regions (plus the surrounding nature). There is free parking and also a very handsome swimming pool. However, the best "feature" is the owner Antonio (Anthony) and his wife Kacey. They are Italian-Americans, so you can expect not only excellent English but also a high level of friendliness and hospitality. They make you really feel at home and give you plenty of tips and recommendations (and even help you reserve tables). Everything was amazing.

• Carol (10/5): A highlight of our short trip to Tuscany--we want to go back ASAP and stay there again! - Loved it!!! The property is absolutely gorgeous! It was amazing to stay in a real castello. We had a huge room with lovely furnishings and cool view of the church across the street. Breakfast was delicious and filling. There is an "honor" bar for wine in the evenings which was an appreciated perk. And the location is realy great--we drove all over the surrounding countryside and this was a good home base. But the best part are the hosts! Antonio was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, friendly, and interested in making sure that we had a pleasant stay. That should be expected. But he offered so much more! He gave us all kinds of helpful information about what to see, where to go, where to eat, how the drive would be, where to park, etc. etc. etc. We felt like we had our own private tour operator! His family (wife, cute kids and father) were equally charming and wonderful. The only thing we have left to do now is book another, longer, stay! Wish the weather was a little warmer so we could have used the pool -- it looked amazing.
• Jennifer (9/5): A room with a view - Beautiful hotel, situated in a small village with wonderful views and walking distance to traditional restaurants. The gardens and swimming pool were stunning. However, for me, the best facility was a comfortable reading chair, next to the window in our room which looked out to a great view and a wonderful sunset. Magic! Shower head was a bit wobbly, and kept sliding down the wall making it hard to shower.

The property is stunning, I just wish we had a few more days to stay there. Kaci and Antonio (the owners) are great hosts. We were lucky enough to enjoy one of their dinners (they don’t serve food every day)- we enjoyed the best pasta in our whole trip through Italy. We wish them the best! If you have a chance, you should definitely stay at Castello delle Serre.
