The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful details that made the stay extra comfortable. Waking up to the stunning sea view was a highlight and instantly set the tone for a peaceful holiday. The infinity pool was amazing and provided a great place to unwind while enjoying the scenery. The atmosphere throughout the resort was vibrant yet calming, making it suitable for both couples and families. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options, and the dining experience was enjoyable. Overall, Dash Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. - PrashantSPatil (10/5): Wonderful stay at Dash Resort Langkawi - Excellent location right next to the beach with private access. Rooms were large and comfortable for a family of four. Clean and neat rooms. The ambience in the hotel was wonderful. Live DJ music being played near the swimming pool area gave a lively atmosphere. Staff were extremely hospitable and kind.

The property and the theme itself is a spectacular one, especially if you are visiting with kids they would like this bunny theme around beach front, pool, lobby,rooms everywhere. 2. Location is also great , roughly 15 min from airport. Also it's open to the white sandy beach where the sunset is moment of the day every evening. 3. Good spread of breakfast for international tourists. Cons- 1. Very very noisy room. The doors are not noise proof, so you will hear people partying till midnight and talking in the lobby that causes disturbances to one's sleep 2. Slow service for in room dining . 3. Rooms could have been more spacious given the amount they charge for a king bed. It starts and ends just like that :) ( I am comparing to other four star properties I have stayed in different cities of Malaysia) 4. Staffs hardly interact with the guests. The minimal interactions also lack warmth and smile.

House keeping is of no use You keep calling them and ask for basic things and they do not serve you… There is no room cleaning done at all even after asking . The locks are not working the taps were leaking … Would never recommend this place for a relaxing stay ..
- ashwithag (6/5): Bad experience - beach and pool only highlights - Not like the pictures at all. In need of maintenance - the door is too hard to open and has wood peeling off it. The bathroom doors dont lock. No activities for children and television doesn't work. Service is pathetic- it takes 3-4 calls and 1 hour to get anything like plates, bottle opener etc. Beach and swimming pool are the only saving grace. Not worth the money paid. How can they have no activity for children? Especially when the TV doesn't work either
- C9156RGchrism (6/5): Good, unless you value sleep - Great location, facilities and atmosphere, but… you cannot sleep outwith hours of 2am-6am. Even rooms avoiding the loud music around pool until midnight, you then have inconsiderate people returning to rooms and shouting, slamming doors, etc in corridors until 2am. Then it restarts at 6am. There is security onsite so they need to try and control this. Rooms smell of damp (obvious mold in bathroom cabinets) so they try to mask with diffusers. Not the cleanest rooms which is a shame as well laid out. We had to cancel food order after 1.5hrs having received only 2 of the 5 orders. Great if you want the Glastonbury feel but terrible if want a quiet family holiday.

The only people there were the bar man and security guard! Rooms and breakfast faultless. But we had to change hotels due to lack of sleep, not helped by long haul flight to get here. Not a place to stay with children or if you want a restful holiday, more suited to the 18-30 age group.

Pool is amazing, right at the beach with in pool bar. Beach is good but not clean at all, even though it is more or less a private beach. View of the beach is superb,with island. Location of the resort is quite interior, food and drinks being pricier... 5-7 minutes walk to the main road, where eateries can be found. Most substandard part of the hotel is the room, too small for such a spacious resort, room size literally makes you stay out the maximum. Breakfast buffet spread is worth enjoying.

We stayed in Dash premium Jacuzzi room which was just like a maze as you enter. The amenities and facilities in room were superb. Jacuzzi was really great and the view that we have from room towards beach is really heaven. Breakfast-limited and usual choices.It was just normal.I had asked for a strong tea tarek but unfortunately it was refused and I was asked to have what was being served there which wasn't upto the mark. The pool and the bar was great too as they have DJ which gives the party vibes and another great thing-pool is open till 12am with the DJ.We tried the drinks from bar and they were fab. However I was disappointed with few things: 1)A bell boy wasn't available when we reached the hotel and had to drag my 5 suitcases all by self,family and thanks to the grab driver who brought us there helped us seeing our situation although the staff from hotel were watching us and no help was offered. 2)I had asked for a late check-out and they were kind enough to help us for 1 hour but I would suggest not to take it as they would keep continuously calling you at room to leave, literally every five minutes. Allow me to highlight no early check-in was offered for us. 3)I had asked for a glass to the room, which they literally took 45mins inspite of two reminders and the glasses were really dirty as they were plastic. Hence, it was good but do expect few disappointments.

Some areas are a bit outdated and cheesy, but that actually adds a touch of charm and kitsch. Being at the far end of the beach means lush greenery and nature around, which makes it feel more serene. It’s about a 30–40 minute walk to the main town, but Grab rides are quick and cheap, so getting to shops, restaurants, and the island’s nightlife is easy and can be just a few minutes away. The pool area is a standout—huge, with plenty of seating whether a swim-up bar stool, table, daybed, or lounger is preferred, with even more seating and lounges a few steps away on the beach. Our room was spacious, had the essentials, and we were lucky with a lovely pool-and-beach view. The atmosphere is mixed in a good way: families, couples, groups of friends, and even a small work event while we were there. Music plays most of the day, and a DJ comes in from midday until around midnight, which keeps the energy up. On the flip side, it can be noisy—light sleepers should avoid pool-view rooms if planning for early nights. Staff were excellent—friendly, warm, attentive, and genuinely positive. Service consistently felt welcoming and efficient. Overall, the beachfront setting, expansive pool scene, and easy access to town made this a great stay. If the goal is to disconnect and relax without being too far from dining and nightlife, this is a strong choice.

The unique resort theme, stunning infinity pool, and state-of-the-art resort décor, together with its beach-club setting and attentive staff — especially the food at MYA Restaurant — are what make me return year after year. At the restaurant, guests are warmly greeted as they arrive. During my most recent stay in September, the Chef himself acted like a Brand Ambassador at breakfast, offering any additional help or service and engaging with guests beyond just the food. While at first the approach seemed tailored to a certain demographic, once feedback was raised, he responded swiftly and professionally. The improvements we noticed the very next day reassured me that management truly prioritises guest comfort and takes feedback seriously. Dash Resort may face the occasional challenge, but its openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement are the reasons why I will continue to choose it every time I return to Langkawi.
