Bathroom good size too. Negatives :- I hated the long frosted windows from the bathroom into where the bed is. So if you get caught short in the night put the bathroom light on the whole darn room lights up waking your husband! Not a good idea. Pillows very lumpy and hard. Only four coat hangers we stayed two nights ! No reception no one around. This place is more like an Airbnb but with a cleaner in the mornings. We had trouble with the loo wouldnāt flush no one to call midnight coz no reception! Had to wait till morning to use the number left for emergencies. Although they were very efficient and fixed it straight away except broke the following day. We got very handy with using the bin to flush the necessary! The area is awful sorry have no idea why people say itās good. No itās horrible and quite honestly not a

Nice refrigerator. Lots of very steep stairs to get to our room, no breakfast available because the owners are new, the host was never on site. It was very hot and we only had a fan to try to cool the room, which did not work well.

One of our bath towels was wet - but only in the middle - as though it had been used previously. Very limited car parking. Breakfast basket was poor. One of the rooms had non stop dripping toilet with broken handle.

Parking was easy. 11am check out was nice. Outside noise carried through the shut windows. Especially the boy racer exhausts on Friday night, and the bin men at 7am on Saturday morning. We booked room 2, for it rustic charm, but I caught my head on the beam in the bathroom and the one above the stairs.

- Tim (7/5): Ok - Location suited our needs A few things were disappointing, such as the heating was not on and the room was very cold, (however, staff did rectify it when we were able to get hold of them), there was a leak from the toilet rail, and the bed ;(although the four poster looked pleasant) was small and very squeaky with a very squashy mattress. We probably would not stay again.

I had a query on the invoice for my stay nad my email was answered in less than half an hour The hotel used to be staff and has switched to self check-in. Despite the advantages stated above, i prefer to be greeted by a person. Also it is quite expensive for a room only hotel (the basket of cookies etc offered cannot be considered breakfast)

- Linda (9/5): Great Place to Stay - The room was very comfortable and very well stocked and as there was no breakfast they had provided some fresh fruit as well as biscuits. The walk in shower was wonderful and the bed large and comfortable. We had asked for a ground floor room and this was provided and the good directions to the car park were very welcome. In addition, the location was perfect for us and the security code access meant we could come and go at any time. It was all very good

- Peter (6/5): We wouldnāt stay again - Room was fine and tea coffee and snacks were well stocked. Heating was responsive. Overpriced for the area and with no breakfast available. Another guest had trouble getting in to their room. I tried to help but the code didnāt appear to work. I showed them where I had received the reception sign and whilst we rang twice no one answered and there was no number to ring. I emailed the contact email but got no response. So customer service would be rated as zero.

- Joanna (8/5): Very lovely room when I finally got into the property - Itās clean and everything was provided including good coffee and welcome snacks of fruit biscuits and croissants . It was quiet and felt safe when inside room . I had difficulty on arrival . I was uncertain about the parking as there was a small car park with 4 cars already there and I parked obstructing the gate at the bottom left of the car park and was nervous I might be blocking that gate .in the end I left a note . I was phoning emergency no of care taker to ask how to get into my room but that when onto answer phone . I couldnāt find a key safe and it was dark .Finally I realised the code was on the doors but you canāt see that in the dark . On the third attempt the front door bell responded and flashed me into my room .Reception was firmly closed up at 9.45 pm with no one around and there was no reception this morning at 10 so I gave keys to the cleaner . It was all a bit spooky at 9.45 pm at night . I am not sure where the Townhouse is ?

We booked three rooms and all were comfortable and well specced. The location was fine for exploring Oswestry and catching up with family and friends. No complaints

Lovely extras in the room including a type of continental breakfast. Ideally situated for bars and cafes a like. It is in a quiet,safe and secure area. Loved it.

- Karin (8/5): Good for a comfortable one night stay - Beautiful, spacious room, with comfy beds and lots of small details that made for a pleasant night. Parking space much appreciated. Great for the one night we stayed there. We did not immediately understand that we would not meet anybody and there was a bit of confusion about there being no reception. It was not a problem in the end, but if you'd like to check in, in person and / or have a chat during your stay, this is not for you.

- Neil (7/5): Great location but the room and parking had issues. - The room in the eaves full of exposed beams was lovely. The property is only a very short walk of the town centre or park. The room had ample storage cupboard. The cleaner from Ukraine was an absolute delight to talk to and although we didn't need the room serviced daily, she changed our tea cups and supplied new milk to the in-room fridge daily. Having to descend a flight of stairs to get to the bathroom was a bit challenging, especially at night. We parked in their car park on the first night but on the second there was no room but being a bank holiday risked putting it in a nearby business parking space. We phoned the owner of Sebastians to check we were ok to do this but didn't have a reply. it may be something we missed but I couldn't find a fire-drill in the room and being in the 'attic' we did feel a bit vulnerable.

Luckily we had got in by then but could have been stuck without a room and no way of contacting anyone

Jacuzzi bath was good until we let the water out and found the bath filthy from unclean water jet,.black bits all over the bath. you had to go downstairs to fill the kettle. Bed very high. Not as restful as we were hoping.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Sebastianās is a beautiful boutique hotel, very tastefully and individually decorated in a very pretty courtyard. Lots of nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and snacks. We would have loved to have breakfast in the morning but understand that the restaurant is not open at the moment. Would very much recommend Sebastianās.
- Baines (10/5): Little hidden gem šš½ we'll be back! - Great central location with parking, hassle free check in, gorgeous and comfortable room with traditional touches. Great communication from owners. No breakfast, but plenty of options within walking distance.

- smk62 (8/5): Good but let down by a few issues - Very nice place but self check in was a disaster Recieved a text but it contained no info code for the door , luckily after waiting half an hour housekeeping let us in. Very clean rooms and bathrooms but the mattress in room 5 is very bad , hard and rolls you out of bed , maybe needs turning But great little place , fridge a great asset and the tables outside very nice too Central to town would return
