• Olivia (10/5): It was a peaceful yet active getaway - We made some grocery shopping and enjoyed breakkie with birdies on the decking every morning. The view and vibe was stunning.we also enjoyed dolphins watching, snorkeling and hiking le morne mountain. Thanks to Ornella’s recommendation We wished we had booked a longer stay but we will definitely be back next year.

• Harald (10/5): - Highlight: Terasse mit tollen Blick auf die Lagune. Genug Platz vorhanden. Sehr netter Kontakt bei der Übernahme der Schlüssel etc. Gab uns eine Menge Tips und Ratschläge für Ausflüge, Strände in der nähe etc. Parkplatz vorhanden. Netflix TV falls Schlechtwetter sein sollte. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Klimaanlagen in den Schlafräumen, nicht aber im Wohnbereich... egal einfach Türen offen gelassen in den Schlafzimmern und schon wars auch im Wohnzimmer und Küche kühl. Sehr ruhige Gegend. Auto sollte man schon haben. Restaurant in ca. 5 Gehminuten vorhanden mit sehr gutem Essen. Ist keine Kritik... allerdings nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer oder körperlich beeinträchtige Person geeignet, da man vom Parkplatz zur Wohnung doch eine steinige Treppe mit ein paar höhenmeter nach unten und wieder hoch muss. Das heißt auch Koffer schleppen. Da kommt man ins Schwitzen bei heißem Wetter. ;-)

• Caroline (6/5): - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux de notre hôte ainsi que la jolie vue, le jacuzzi et la literie confortable. Cependant, pour le tarif proposé, nous avons été un peu déçus par plusieurs points dans le logement : (qui mériterait quelques améliorations) - l’intérieur est assez exiguë, sans véritable lumière extérieure. – Température de la douche difficile à régler (très froid ou très chaud). – Chasse d’eau bruyante pendant un long moment. (Éviter d’y aller en pleine nuit) – Absence de miroir et de lavabo dans la salle de bain, peu pratique. – Aucun porte-serviette dans la salle de bain. – Quelques odeurs de canalisation. – Électricité qui sautait régulièrement. L’emplacement est très sympathique au pied du Morne, mais le tarif proposé n’est pas adapté aux prestations du logement. Nous avons quitté une nuit plus tôt. L’hôte devait me contacter le lendemain mais ne l’a pas fait .

Ornella a été fantastique avec nous et très disponible. nous avons eu le droit à toute une liste de lieux à découvrir. Nous avons logé dans la villa vue sur le lagon "LAGOON VIEW SUITE" et sincèrement le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos. Situé au calme sans vis à vis. Vue incroyable sur le lagon et le morne. très bien équipé et très spacieux. A moins de 100 m en dessous se trouve un excellent restaurant et en moins de 8 mn vous êtes au petit supermarché. Plage du morne accessible en voiture en moins de 5 mn et facile pour se garer. Merci pour tout !

• Angelique (9/5): Enorm genoten van dit mooie verblijf - Prachtig genoten van het appartement. De kleinste van allen voor 2 personen maar heerlijk. Het voelde echt als een uniek plekje met mooi uitzicht en heerlijke faciliteiten. We hebben alle avonden genoten van de Jacuzzi en daarna nog lekker in bed een filmpje gekeken. We vonden het heerlijk, echter na 3 dagen miste wij wat reuring. Dus wij vinden het als afwisseling echt een topplek.

Confort, "Kozy", mignon et surtout bien placé. Une vue imprenable sur l'île aux Bénitier. Ornella est accueillante et chaleureuse. Bonne conseillère en tout point, bonne guide touristique en plus 🤗 La literie est confortable, le logement est bien équipé il y a tout ce qu'il faut et surtout le SPA avec une superbe vue la journée et le soir on peut observer les étoiles depuis le SPA. Fin voilà, tout était parfait ! Merci d'avoir sauvé nos vacances qui ont été grâce au kozy le Morne, fort agréable.
• Richard (10/5): Magical place with special energy - We found ourselves very well at this magical place just below Mount Le Morne Branant. A peaceful place with a breathtaking view over the lagoon. Ornella, the host, was very kind and helpful with informations about activities, restaurants etc. The villa is fully equipped and clean. A rental car is highly recommended. We loved this place and will return for sure.

The bedroom opens out to the deck and I slept with the doors open every night. Just an incredible villa - nice kitchen, big laundry room.

• Ankit (1/5): Don’t book a stay here - Location I would say to some extent but that still didn’t justify the price charged At the price they are charging for studio it’s absolutely horrible, the room is super cramped up much smaller than what’s described and that’s why all photos posted are in 0.5x. The min 3 night stay policy is another way to earn money without offering value in between three nights if you need cleaning they charge 20 Euros for that. Don’t book this is our only advice basis our experience better get a full service hotel in same price. Even beach ain’t directly accessible

• Chris (10/5): Incredible View of Le Morne Mountain and Sea - The location & amazing view is what really sets Sea View apart. It really is difficult to beat. If you compare with the hotels on Le Morne it provides incredible value and in our opinion better facilities. Ornella and Eric made us feel welcome and provided lots of advice of things to see & do locally. Nothing really.

• Sneha (9/5): A cozy stay - Kozy le Morne is really cozy and beautiful. Ornella is a wonderful host and guide. Jacuzzi was clean and very well maintained. It is a good option if one wants to just stay in and enjoy the view. 2 wheeler motor bikes and 4 wheelers are available on rent easily and is within the walking distance. We were lucky to have spotted two deer outside our gate at night. Kitchenette and bedroom are small but extremely well arranged and colour coordinated too. The mattress was really very soft. We got two complimentary beers, coffee pouches and there was sufficient cutlery available for us. In my opinion, the island view room is perfect for 2 people. Le Morne public beach is within 2 minutes via vehicle and 10 minutes via walk. We didn't like having mosquitos around the sitting area throughout the day even though necessary precautions were there in place. There aren't many eateries nearby and the supermarket is 5.8kms. In general, bus facilities aren't great in Le Morne as compared to the north side of the island but this has nothing to do with Kozy le Morne stay..

• Mr. (7/5): Good - Beautiful little spot looking out over the bay and part of the golf course. We thought it was a little expensive for the amount of space you get. Especially compared to other places in Mauritius. But it comes with a bubble bath on the verandah, so you can cool down and enjoy the view at the same time. The road to the studio was re-done after a cyclone in 2024, so no problems getting there. And if you need anything, the host is the kindest woman we met in Mauritius and very helpful. We thought it was a little expensive for the space you get.

Ornella contacted me some days before arrival as a cyclone was about to approach and she gave us some good advice on what to do and to arrive early. They were really nice and gave us good instructions on where to go and what to do the first day. Anytime we had an issue they were always there for us as they lived next door. Nothing to complain really. Beautiful location, beautiful view, comfy bed and nice hosts. What else do you need? :-)

The host is also super friendly, she gave us many tips. The stay recommended! We would love to go back! Do not go to any hotel resorts- this is so much more worth! Very minor thing - Bed and pillows were a bit too soft for us and walk-in shower was too open so after showering there was too much water everywhere.
• Alexandra (10/5): Authentic and Kozy Mauritius - Traveling from the States, it was a very long flight but arriving at the Island View Studio at Kozy Le Morne instantly made it worthwhile. The comfort of the studio felt like a cozy cocoon amidst nature's heart. Though the hike up Le Morne mountain tested our mettle, reaching the summit unveiled a breathtaking panorama that words can't justly describe — it's a memory I will cherish forever. Every evening, we enjoyed the studio's private jacuzzi, which granted us an uninterrupted view of the ethereal starry nights. The sheer beauty of the sky left me spellbound, making it a nightly ritual for us. The wild essence of the place is personified by the graceful deer roaming freely. Lastly, our stay wouldn't have been complete without the unmatched hospitality of Ornella and her team. Their warm welcoming and undivided care made us feel not just as guests, but as part of their island family. It's truly a slice of paradise that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic Mauritian retreat.
• Feras (8/5): Very good - The view is one of the best locations in the west Furniture is old and almost no service rather than a small restaurant down the hill, whoever consider this accommodation must be able to cook and do some groceries.
• Yasir (1/5): Paid more for this tiny room than I paid for a 5 stars resort for the same number of days and was just exteremly disappo - The owner provided useful tips like taxi number and such. Huge disappointment! Not worthy of of half of what I paid for it. I couldn’t stay for the full 4 nights and had to move to a different place. -The island view villa/suite is just a small basement. -The bed is small my feet were hanging while I slept. The sink is in the same place as the bed; the bed is in the bathroom! -Bathroom hot water runs out after 10 minutes. And doesn’t come back for the rest of the day. And the hot/cold mixer doesn’t work, you either get boiling hot water or icy cold water!!!! -bathroom door handle is shaky and looks like it is going to break any second. - I am 180cm and my head is almost touch the ceiling, the cluster-phobia is badd! -The furniture are so old its like they haven’t been changed for 15 years. -The flooring looks and feels weird and not clean. -The place is extremely small!! We couldn’t have 1 bag open on the ground and be able to move around at the same time. -Centipedes! Lots of them! -Under-equipped! Had 1 hand soap provided which had its nozzle barely working. -The entrance stairways the leads down to the room look unwelcoming. -The outside is not lit at night and the sound of dogs barking when you go for dinner -The jacozi tub has chlorine stains and does not look cleaned for new residents.

The host provided excellent information on tours,taxis, boat cruises and was very responsive. The property wasn’t cleaned throughout the stay. The jacuzzi was also dirty and needed chlorine adding.

She shared invaluable tips about the local area and we had delightful conversations about the island's rich culture. The Island view studio had a stunning panorama that remains vivid in our minds. The majestic mountain and breathtaking turquoise lagoon provided a magical backdrop. Each dawn and dusk felt like a living dream. The private jacuzzi was the epitome of luxury in this little paradise. Perfectly situated under little solar fairy lamps that set the evening mood, it was our sanctuary where we could appreciate ultimate comfort. To sum up, the studio was comfortable, convenient, every inch thoughtfully decorated for a memorable experience accompanied by a heartfelt hospitality. We would not hesitate to revisit and recommend to anyone looking for a real island escape. This place is hard to leave, we are sad to be back home and already miss the view
• Sarah (10/5): Adventurous but relaxing holiday - Our stay at the Studio was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, between sea and mountains, with breathtaking views of the lagoon. The serene environment provided a peaceful escape from our usual bustling city life. Ornella was very welcoming. She shared valuable tips for activities and must do experiences. We particularly appreciated her guidance on using the air conditioning effectively to fight the humidity, a common factor in Mauritius. This information was helpful, making our stay much more comfortable. The highlight was the jacuzzi. Following the checkin instructions allowed us to fully enjoy this luxurious oasis for a much needed relaxation time. Surrounded by nature​​, we ​definitely​ recommend the Studio​ : ​an idyllic getaway. We even saw deers. The only negative side is that it is hard to leave that place :(

• Marko (9/5): Perfect place for nature lovers - Lagoon view villa was everything promised in the descriptions. Two bed rooms with double beds and bath rooms, big kitchen, and a big terrace with great views and abundant vegetation (and nice birds). Really silent and relaxing neighborhood. Very nice beach quite close as well as opportunity to mountain climbing which was highly appreciated :). Washing machine was a nice plus. We did not have any issues with mosquitos as we closed the doors after sunset. We surely enjoyed our staying! These are not really complaints but just notes. Villa can accommodate maximum of 5 persons but the sofa is not very comfortable and there is no air conditioning in the living room. Road to the property is partly in a quite bad condition so needs careful driving as does the parking. Only one restaurant nearby but others in 10 mins drive in the village where also well-equipped supermarket is located.
