Guest Reviews
- Morgan (6/5): - Hotel wasn't aware we was booked in and then tried to charge us more than was stated on the booking.
- Veronica (4/5): Staff welcoming but accommodation not. - Such a shame this is a tale of two halves. Staff all lovely, helpful and go out of their way to help you. The problem is in the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises and rooms inside and out. A lot of money has been spent on the rooms but not cleaned properly and why have a posh coffee water heater for beverages in room which you cant fill up under the tap??? Toilet stained and bed cover split windows cobwebs and thick dust. The back outside area with a large covered seating canopy looking onto grass field for camping and play are is not kept clean the covered seating outside must have been very costly to construct but the floor needs a good wash down and broken furniture and litter needs picking up regularly also badly stained cushions on furniture need washing. This is a village pub lovely building but no character out front, again area dirty with broken furniture no hanging basket or anything to welcome the customer in. Food was good and again nothing was too much trouble such a shame that priorities seem to be misplaced.

- William (8/5): Comfortable and good food - Nicely renovated heritage pub in a quiet village. Good restaurant and great choice of breakfast.
SEHR gutes Essen. Große Zimmer. TV via WLAN. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbreites Personal.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Flies! - Everything was excellent except for the influx of flies at meal times suggest the management invest in up to date fly killing machines!
- RedriffHussey (10/5): - Just spent a few days at this lovely old village inn while we explored this beautiful part of Wales. Fantastic, friendly staff, always there to help without being “in your face”. Food was lovely - my son was particularly pleased to have chips that were properly crisped. A good range of tasty options from full restaurant dinner through to a quick salad or sandwich. Room was newly decorated - very clean, spacious and comfortable while retaining many original features like the beams and fireplaces. Pub was very welcoming, bubbly but certainly not noisy for those staying there (as we were). Thanks to the lovely staff for their excellent service. We are already planning our next stay!
