• Tetiana (5/5): Je moet voorbereid zijn op de locatie en de specifieke kenmerken van het hostel. - De kamer was erg schoon en de locatie was gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van het centrum. Er zit schimmel in de badkamer en de keuken was niet erg schoon. Daarnaast is er geen geluidsisolatie. Het hostel ligt op de derde verdieping, met een gokhal op de eerste en een bordeel op de tweede verdieping dat bijna de hele nacht open is. We waren hierop voorbereid dankzij eerdere reviews en hadden slaapmaskers en oordopjes mee, maar de gordijnen laten ook veel licht door. De kamer zelf is volledig kaal; er staan alleen bedden, zelfs geen nachtkastje of een kleine kapstok. De omgeving voelt bovendien absoluut niet veilig door de aanwezigheid van pooiers en andere dubieuze figuren. Het is beter om hier als vrouw niet alleen te verblijven, maar samen met een man. Dit hostel is dan ook hooguit geschikt voor maximaal één nacht, uitsluitend voor volwassenen en bij voorkeur niet alleen.

• Daniel (1/5): I really wish there was something nice I could say about this place, but no- it is simply awful. - There was hot water in the shower... Erm struggling now to think of anything else... It was marginally more comfortable than I imagine a prison cell would be perhaps- is that a positive? There was loo roll and soap... Ok that's it... It is not specific on the property when booking that there are no staff at the property whatsoever, they actually email you the codes to access the property on the day of your stay. Grossly insufficient detail about how poor the accomodation is in terms of standard, amenities, location and overall experience. It has a shared loo/bathroom (the timer lights go out mid-shower so you finish off in complete darkness...), rooms that stink of cigarette smoke, bedding that smells extremely unclean, very thin walls/loud 'guests' and curtains that do not block out any light. It is also above a nightclub which plays very loud music until the early hours. To charge €130 for this for one night is simply criminal. In hindsight I wish I had taken photos to post here but please please please do not book this place- ANYWHERE else would be preferable...

• János (7/5): Egy felejthetetlen szombat éjszaka a vörös lámpás negyedben - Óriási az a feeling, ami a piros lámpás negyedben van - gyakorlatilag benne alszol. Amúgy könnyen megközelíthető az óváros. Közelben rengeteg étterem és Aldi. Fontos, hogy van fizetős parkoló a ház alatt - 20 euro egy éjszakára- amit a Holiday Inn recepcióján kell rendezni. Nekem nagyon puha volt a matrac. A szoba leírása azt tartalmazta, hogy van fürdőszoba. De nem privát, hanem közös. Nekünk nem volt gond, mert egyedül voltunk. Nehezen lehet megtalálni a főbejáratot. De konkrétan a sztriptízbárral együtt van. Nincs légkondi. Most még nem volt gond, de nyáron nagy hiány lehet. Hajnali 5ig ment lent a buli. Aki erre érzékeny, ne foglaljon ide.

• Viktoria (5/5): - Расположение. С одной стороны это центр города, и все находится в пешей доступности. С другой стороны- одно и то же сдание с публичным домом. Двум девушкам вечером не очень комфортно добираться. Шумоизоляция 0. В комнате напротив остановилась компания из молодых парней. Мало того, что из стрип-бара снизу доносилась громкая музыка, так еще и эти ребята всю ночь слушали музыку, ходили курили в туалетах и на кухне. Такое ощущение, будто вместо дверей у нас был кусок фанеры. Замок не выглядит защищенным. Понятно, что за эти деньги многого ожидать не стоило, но можно хоть немного побеспокоиться о комфорте и безопасности своих посетителей.

Є холодильник,чайник, кухня, два туалети,папір,мило і душі, пральна машинка (на поверсі). чудово з дверми в кімнату, вони надійно закриваються на код 1.Відсутність фена. 2.Зломані вхідні двері до хостелу, а також на поверсі. Вони не закривалися. Такий вигляд відлякує відвідувачів,бо складно зрозуміти чи це діючий вхід чи ні. І хвилюєшся за безпеку. 3. Порвана тюль у кімнаті.

Las escaleras no tienen luz, excepto por la noche que tienen un tono rojo. Al subir ves el cartel del bar de alterne y se escucha un poco la música del local.

• Udo Zeitler (1/5): - Gar nichts ... Leider ist zu keinem CKECK-IN gekommen. Die Adresse Engelhardsgasse 22 ist mir bekannt. Bin in Nürnberg aufgewachs en. Die Haus-Nr. 22 besteht aus 2 Häusern. Diese verkörpern u. A. das Rotlicht-Millieu in Nürnberg. Im ersten Haus wusste keiner von irgend was, also auch keiner Buchung ... im. zweiten Haus das gleiche Spiel. Man schickte uns auf die andere Straßenseite ... die haben Zimmer ... dort bekamen wir die Auskunft ... wir hatten noch nie Zimmer. Ich muss ehrlich sagen: ich bin noch nur so verarscht und enttäuscht worden. Unter dieser Adresse gibt es kein Hostel Berkut. Wir sind dann kurz entschlossen in das Holiday Inn gegangen und haben dort ein Zimmer gebucht ... für 89€ ... mittlerweile war es halb 1 und wir wollten verständlicherweise nach einem vollen Urlaubstag endlich schlafen. Fazit: Die Buchung von Hostel Berkut wird somit aufgrund nicht erbrachter Leistungen fristlos storniert. Bleibt nur noch 1 Frage offen. Wer übernimmt die Mehrkosten für das Holiday Inn ? In Erwartung Ihrer Nachricht verbleibe ich Ihr UDO ZEITLER Siehe oben

• Carole (10/5): Juste merci pour votre efficacité, compréhension et disponibilité - La facilité d’accès à tout qu’on s’agisse de la chambre avec les lits , les draps de bains, la petite cuisine , la machine à laver avec sèche linge puis les petites salles de bains communes . Que d’autres voyageurs qui sont de passage aussi ne respecte pas la propreté de l’établissement et le travail des femmes de ménages . Certains voyageurs sont négligeants envers le travail du personnel et mal propre.

• Hamza (1/5): Das Schlimmste Zimmer, das ich im Leben gebucht habe. - Nichts Überhaupt kein Strom, keine Lichte, keine Strom in Steckdosen. Die Lage ist ganz schlecht und sehr laut in der Nacht. Man kann in der Nacht nicht schlafen.☹️

Y lo peor de todo es que está localizado en la 2nda planta en la cual la 1era es un club de alterne y tienes que pasar por las mismas escaleras para llegar al hostel. Quitando eso, por dentro todo bien

• Silvia (4/5): Disappointing - it was close to the centre it is right above the red light district, we could see prostitutes dancing at their windows right from our bedroom, not to talk about the high volume music that came from there that went on all night. in the evening (it was around 7pm) we came back to a boy being arrested right in front of the door of the hostel.

• Raquel (7/5): Ok for one night only - The location is very near to the city center; it is in the redlight neighborhood tho, which may be a little uncomfortable but we didn’t have any issues! And we had at our disposal a shared kitchenette (fridge, sink and stove) if needed. So overall good quality-price ratio. 1. The door is badly signalized: the entrance is through a white metal door with red led-lights shared with the strip club (this on the first floor, hostel on the second floor). 2. The automatic lights (specifically in the toilet/bathroom) should be turned on longer so you don’t need to wave while showering. 3. Although we didn’t have security issues, we realized the room/floor codes remain unchanged between the guests. 4. It was really hard to reach the host via booking nor WhatsApp calling and the welcoming message was also not so warming (the check-in information came without description, just a bunch of codes for the doors)… PS: the checkin/checkout gap was confusing once the next guest arrived before our checkout limit time. We were lucky because they were 3angel sweet ladies, but it is a point to notice.

Has no lift and it is on 4th floor. Very noisy in the night. The location is really bad, you will have to cross the street with prostitutes standing half naked on the windows.

• José (1/5): A striptease club on the same building, noisy, and not safe for every kind of traveler - n/a It was really noisy at night because a naked girls' dancing club was in the same building. I wouldn't advise solo travelers or women to take this accommodation for safety reasons. I also recommend that Booking.com remove this accommodation from their catalog, but they don't want to act.
