- Valerij (6/5): - Selve hotellet er rigtig fin og værten var rigtig rar og hjælpsom. Dog var der en del dårligt lugt på badeværelse fra afløbet og gulvet på soveværelset, som trak en del ned i selve oplevelse.

- yolanda (10/5): Beautiful French Villa - Had a wonderful stay. The place was very charming with a brautiful garden, with many colorful flowers. Room and dining had beautiful antiques. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with dinner reservations as it was hard to find a table at the village. A nice, complimentary homemade breakfast was served, with tea or coffee, bread, pastries and jellies. Mark, the owner was super nice and took excellent care of the guests during breakfast. I would definitely recommend for a romantic stay, and I would return again if I'm in the area.

- Michael (10/5): First time in a Gite - A nice stay at an old farm in the French countryside close to the Normandy Beaches. The room was clean, tidy but a little basic offering good value for money. The 'continental' breakfast was acceptable and the swimming pool a pleasant bonus. The hosts were accommodating and provided useful, interesting information about the local area. We would stay again.

Stanza familiare comoda e colazione buona e abbondate. I proprietari gentili, accoglieti e molto piacevoli. Un bel posto che mi sento di consigliare. Molto soddisfatti!

- Helle Bruun (8/5): Hyggelige værter - Et skønt ophold i landlige og rolige omgivelser. Værterne var meget søde og hjælpsomme. De sørgede hurtigt for leje af cykler, da vi spurgte, og de blev leveret til stedet. Ingenting er prangende, men hyggeligt. Vi var der i 4 dage. Du gik aldrig forgæves til værtsparret.

THE GARDENS ARE A HAVEN TO SIT IN THE EVENING AFTER VISITING ALL THE LOCAL HISTORIC PLACES, PRETTY AND WELCOMING. MARC IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLY ON ALL THE NORMANDY SITES AND BREAKFAST IS WONDERFUL. - Diana (10/5): - So friendly and unique. From the quaint buildings and gardens to the charming dog and donkeys. Hosts and breakfast were super . Wish we had stayed there longer.
- Kathleen (8/5): - Very pretty country setting. Not much in Grandcamp-Maisy but we were mainly there to visit Utah Beach which was only a 30 minute drive. The owner was nice enough to let us bring our breakfast to our room as we were not feeling well one morning.
- Vera (10/5): On countryside - The place is situated very convenient when you are planning to visit beaches Omaha and Utah and other monuments from World War II. The landlord supported us with useful information about some additional places nearby and lady booked excellent restaurants for our dinners in the city of Grandchamp-Maisy. Their dog Oscar behaved himself very friendly. Lovely place, indeed.

- CAROLINA (10/5): - We are a family of 4 that saw the tours to Normandy by train and tour guide were expensive so we instead wanted to do it on our own, rented a car to drive from Paris and wanted to find a place to stay that was close to Utah or Omaha. This little inn was exactly what we needed. It is very basic, clean, with hot water. Our host was great and recommended other places to visit and we’re treated to the best homemade continental breakfast in the morning. The property is quaint and the kids loved the sheep, chickens and other animals roaming around. It was a lovely inn for a budget traveler.

In the morning they offered an amazing, delicious breakfast. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The property is beautiful. I highly recommend starting here.

Néanmoins, le distributeur de gel dans la salle de bain n'est pas pratique du tout, il fonctionne mal. Le petit déjeuner est très bon ! Bon produit. Il se passe dans une salle commune. Les propriétaires sont trop présents pendant le petit déjeuner. Ils sont adorables, aux petits soins mais le matin c'est trop. Pour nous qui avons du mal à émerger le matin, j'avoue que c'était compliqué. Ce sont des propriétaires passionnés. On sent qu'ils aiment les gens mais pendant un repas il faut savoir se faire discret. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit et les propriétaires sont vraiment serviables et passionnés. Le cadre est sublime !

- Verified traveler (8/5): A nice stay in a basic room. - I only stayed one night and it was acceptable. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom would benefit from some updating and don't expect any free toiletries (shower gel, soap, etc.) because none of these things are provided. The breakfast was home-cooked but very basic - bread, yoghurt, jams, cakes. I think it would have been nice to add some cheeses and meats.

- Rodney (10/5): - 18th century farmhouse with farm animals and great dog! What else needs to be said! Great and helpful owners who visit and share local history with you during breakfast. Rooms are basic, but you are not staying at this property for the room. You are staying for the experience. Very locally situated for World War 2 site visits also.

Det var litt kaldt og rått i rommet og sengetøyet ble litt rått og klamt. God parkering. Frokosten var grei, men helt uten fiber. Brød, smør, syltetøy, cornflakes og et utvalg kaker. Kan fint ta med eget brød eller müsli. Kort vei til sentrum med matvarebutikk og småbutikker. Ekteparet som bor der og driver stedet er veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Relaxed Traditional French B&B - Lovely farm house bed and breakfast. Accommodation is basic but has everything you need. The kids loved the pool, the walk into the village for mussels fries in one of the beach cafés is well worth it and the breakfast of fresh bread and flan / tarts was superb.
- Bruce (10/5): Cute country inn near the Normandy coast - I was pleasantly surprised by this inn. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The nearby town has excellent seafood. Breakfast in the morning was huge and definitely started out day on the right foot. We also got great tips for things to see and do on the area. Would happily stay there again. The only drawback was the limited air circulation in the room.
