• Shaun (10/5): Absolutely brilliant! - There is no way this is a 2 star hotel. The whole property was spotlessly clean, the host was perfect and the whole experience was brilliant. The breakfast was good, the room was good (including a mini bar and rain shower). I found the position of the television slightly strange being high up in the corner of the room, but you don't need television when visiting such a beautiful place. The location is ideal - close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the beach. I will return here regularly, thank you so much for making me feel comfortable on my first solo trip.

• Alexandru (8/5): - A Convenient Stay with Minor Inconveniences I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially considering the very affordable price. The hotel is located right in the city center, just a few minutes from the beach, which is a great advantage for those who want to enjoy the sun and sea without long trips. The room was fine, clean, and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. While it wasn’t luxurious, everything was okay, especially for the price paid. The only downside is that the hotel is situated on a busy street, and the noise from outside could still be heard even with the balcony door closed, which might be disturbing for those sensitive to noise. However, if the noise doesn’t bother you too much, this hotel is a good option for an affordable vacation. Another important thing to note is that check-in is at 3:00 PM, so if you arrive earlier, I recommend going to the beach or exploring the surroundings until your room is ready. Overall, I recommend this hotel to those looking for simple accommodation, well-located, and at a low price.

Ett fantastiskt hotell i centrala Calella, med närhet till allt, stranden, restauranger och shopping. Ägarna till hotellet var otroligt vänliga och servicevänliga. Bra frukost med personlig service av ägarparet. Otroligt rent och fräscht hotell med trevlig städpersonal. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell istället för de stora hotellkedjorna.

• Yonnas (10/5): - Simple and casual. Nice staff and decent breakfast included. 10 mins walk to the commuter trains and 5 mins to the bus station. More than enough shops and restaurants in the surrounding areas and the beach is just a short walk down as well. Perfect for couples or solo travelers.
• Patrice (10/5): Petit séjour en amoureux à Calella, Costa Brava. - Petit séjour en amoureux dans la staiton balnéaire de Calella. Le rapport qualité/prix de cet hôtel est fantastique. La chambre est grande, et dispose de tout le nécessaire, y compris un mini-bar et une télé LCD au mur. Salle-de-bains avec douche à l'italienne, wc, vasque en marbre et accessoires de toilettes. Petit-déjeuner inclus, très bon et très varié. Et pour compléter le tableau, le patron et son épouse sont aux petits soins à tout moment. Garage privé en face de l'hôtel, très pratique, où laisser sa voiture pour 12 euros par 24 heures. Nous reviendrons !!!

• J C (10/5): Great location, friendly staff. - We had a really good stay at El Pekinaire. Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach or restaurants. The room was very clean and modern, with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and helpful. We used the parking option which was good value compared to the on street parking and kept our hire car safe inside.

• Gregory (10/5): Pretty good - 2 star hotel so it is what you would ecpect as far as things like coffee machine or other amenities. The wifi was fast, I was able to attend class and multi task remote work. No hand towels. The free breakfast was a nice touch, and good service. Being from the US I felt they deserved a tip.

• Frank (10/5): - Ein sehr netter angenehmer Concierge muss ich zum Anfang erwähnen.Super Empfang und super Abreise.Man konnte sich gut mit ihm über vieles unterhalten.Das Parken meines Autos in einer Garage hat ebenfalls super funktioniert.Es war leider sehr laut teilweise in der Nacht bzw am frühen Morgen.Das Wasser im Bad dauerte manchmal ca 30/40 Sekunden bis es warm wurde bzw kalt. Die Betten schliefen sich super und das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Strandnähe. Calella ist wirklich eine sehr angenehme Stadt.Wir schliefen die paar Übernachtungen trotz Lautstärke recht gut.

• Suzanne (8/5): Mostly great - Andres and his wife are wonderful caring people. They took great care of us during our stay. Breakfast was fantastic. The walls are very thin and to be eco friendly the ac would not work if the outside air was below 20C. The room however was not that cool. So we had to sleep with the door open for air and street noise was loud throughout the night.
