• Stacie (10/5): Fabulous and lovely! - This is a “run, don’t walk” situation!! I.e. if you haven’t already booked to stay here when you are in Brussels then you had better hurry up or you will miss out on one of the best stays you will ever be lucky enough to experience! This definitely beats staying in any hotel and you will feel like you are staying with your favourite uncle! Mario (the host) has created a beautiful B & B just off the main pedestrian passage into the centre of Brussels, the rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and decorated to the highest spec. Big, comfortable bed with lovely linens; tea & coffee in room, gorgeous Loccitane toiletries and delicious breakfast made for you by Mario! We loved our stay and can’t recommend a stay here highly enough!

• sopheap (10/5): - Mario, the host and owner was very nice, informative about the city's areas, restaurants, attractions, etc. and easily reachable by text with recommendations, etc. when needed. The room was beautifully appointed. Modern and spacious for the money. Nice fridge, free coffee, tea, water, and soda! Nice quality toiletries. You cannot beat this. Everyone else gives you two bottles of water. Towels are changed everyday. The building is a a couple of blocks away from all the popular central attractions but you wouldn't know it because it's dead quiet but not deserted that you feel unsafe at night. Only small gripe was that the bed was a bit too firm and the pillows could've been thicker but they are not a deal breaker considering everything else.

• Melanie (10/5): A Gem in Brussels - The Art de Sejours is a wonderful B&B in a great location. Mario, our host, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. When we needed help/guidance about the pending train workers' strike, Mario took the initiative to look into train schedules for us. Mario is a one-person operation--does the cooking (delicious breakfast), cleaning, reservations, greets each guest with a "sit-down" orientation to the area and explains points of interest/restaurants with a tailored map of Brussels, helps with luggage, demonstrates how the in-room coffee machine operates, helps with programming the in-room safe, etc. No stone unturned to help! The inn itself is a work of art (no pun intended); Mario bought the place, gutted it, and totally rebuilt it (mostly by himself). The detail and craftsmanship is impressive! The place also is pristine clean. Towels and amenities were refreshed each day as well. Our room was on the 1st floor and, although there is an elevator, it required either getting off on "1" and walking up a flight of narrow steps or getting off on "2" and walking down a flight of narrow steps--not a problem for us, but could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. All-in-all a wonderful place to stay; highly recommend!

• Kate (10/5): - Everything. Excellent location. We had one evening when the neighbour decided to play some very very loud music. This lasted a few hours but did stop by nine o’clock and never happened again.

Location was perfect Heating in the bathroom starts manually with a button and stops after 30’. I would prefer a more permanent heating system for absolute comfort. It was ok however.

• Barbara (10/5): It was exceptional! Highest recommendation. - We were greeted on arrival with everything we needed - map, recommendations, etc. Mario is an exceptional host. Breakfast was made to order and superb, and he graciously accommodated requests to eat early . The room was re-supplied daily with towels, beverages, and treats. The room was spacious and contemporary, and the bed was quite comfortable. There is nothing we didn’t like. Every detail was thoughtful, even the front door being painted red so it was easy to locate when returning. Due to the building design, not every room is on the same level as an elevator stop. If stairs are an issue, simply ask for one of the rooms that has direct access to the elevator.

Zijn B&B voelt als een hotel, prachtige ruime stijlvolle ingerichte kamer, mooie badkamer en er is een lift aanwezig. de B&B ligt in het centrum van Brussel op loopafstand van winkelstraten, grote markt en alle bezienswaardigheden. Het ontbijt wordt persoonlijk voor je bereid, croissantjes, vers gebakken broodjes, een (roer) eitje naar wens, yoghurt naar keuze en zalm, kaas of ham erbij. Dank je wel Mario, we komen zeker bij je terug.

Petit déjeuner copieux servi de produits frais (excellent petits pains). On a pu laisser nos bagages à notre arrivée matinale et à notre départ en fin d'après-midi. Rien à signaler!

• Gerhard (8/5): Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen - Die Lage des B&B war in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Innenstadt, ca. 500m fußläufig leicht zu erreichen. Der Besitzer hat für seine Gäste das Frühstück selbst frisch zubereitet. Es konnten dafür Wünsche geäußert werden. Die Zimmer bestanden aus einem geräumigen Flur mit großem Kleiderschrank, einem sehr modernen geräumigen Badezimmer mit großer Dusche und einem großen Raum mit dem Bett, darin ein Schreibtisch mit Computer. Es ist ein W-Lan vorhanden. Im Flur ist ein Kühlschrank mit alkoholfreien Getränken und eine Kaffeemaschine, alles zur Gratisnutzung vorhanden. Das B&B war an einer Einbahnstraße mit viel Verkehr gelegen. Nachts konnten wir die Fenster nicht offen lassen.

Well stocked for in room tea/coffee making and with a few soft drinks provided. Small bottle of fresh semi skimmed milk also provided - why do even high standard hotels not provide this??? Nothing - stairs are pretty steep and narrow but there is a lift so most people should be able to access the property easily

The owner has carefully designed every aspect of this experience starting with check in. The owner has made a map of the city and highlights all the places you would like to see. The breakfast room is very attractive and the breakfast is wonderful, especially the croissants. The room itself is made for comfort and convenience. The bed is very comfortable with a really nice down comforter. Coffee, water, soda, candy are all provided in the room The shower is large and easy to use with soft towels. The owner/innkeeper is a great resource. I didn't like that I could not stay longer. This is such a wonderful restful B&B.

Še posebej so mi bili všeč drobni detajli, ki naredijo storitev odlično, npr. pripomočki v kopalnici (britje, osebna nega). Tudi sama postavitev je izjemna. Lokacija ponuja dostop do vsega kar sem potreboval. Najbolj všeč pa mi je osebni pristop, ki sem ga bil deležen. Zelo priporočam! Ni kakšne zadeve, res lepo!
