There is also a really nice playground close by if you have kids. Free parking on-site was really welcome and the host Irene was very helpful and responded really quickly to our messages.

I liked it's just 5min away from windermere lake. A calm and quite place to get relaxed wit the beauty of the nature. The lady at the property gave a good welcome and showed the property and instructions about the property. The location was amazing........ There is nothing that we can't like once we reach the location.....

The location is ideal, nestled in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to local attractions and public transport. The apartment was spotless, stylishly furnished, and equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The host, an incredibly kind and charming lady, made the stay even more special with her warm hospitality and excellent local recommendations. Highly recommended!

She recommended how we could see Lake district and even showed us an amazing park nearby that we took our toddler to. Great location with shops, restaurants, the bus stop and supermarkets a stones throw away! If we ever come back to Lake district and Irene is still hosting, we would go there without a second thought.

The owner had kept complimentary products on arrival. Half of these were expired and having pungent smell. The owner of the property was not flexible with the departure time which is unpleasant. There was long list of no to Do’s upon arrival, best to keep a list rather than bothering tourist over and over again. The owner can be generous and kind hearted to tourist. No one is staying for free.

• Stan (9/5): Relaxing and enjoyable stay. - It is a nice two bedroom apartment and the large family room made our stay enjoyable especially when we had a couple of wet days. The property was sparkling clean and manager ensured that we had clean towels etc when requested. It is located close to restaurants, shopping and transport. The internal door closers were noisy and inconvenient, but apparently necessary.

• Leane (5/5): Passable - The apartment it self was lovely clean and comfy location was great. Would have definitely booked again until the morning of departure.... The hostess. At first she seemed nice just to much in your face overly chatty and wanted to show you what ever little button switch cupboard bed toilet paper tv remotes etc was. She was abrupt when checking in enforcing how we got our things out of the car including the children. At this point I just thought awww She must be lonely and like chatting to her guests...untill vacating time. The check in day she informed me that we could check out later as no other guests coming I asked for 11am she said yes. At 10.55 in the midst of packing the car getting the kids coats and shoes on and me trying to take all rubbish out and after emptying bins remaking beds as I always do and throwing away half cooked breakfast away as her electric oven tripped all electrics 2 times we gave up on eating she entered the property and began to what I can describe as being chastised like I did when I was 5! She back tracked on check out time and continue to tell me she did not say that and tell me she expects all guest to clean the property before leaving! The only thing left for her to do was cleaning bedding sweep and mop floors! Which I would expect to be the hosts job as she is paid 185 a night. Never in My life have I been treated like that as a guest. She then persisted to tell me there is nothing wrong with her electrics it must've have been something of mine which we didn't have plugged in as everything was packed to go. Yet we had her electric cooker on and toaster trying to cook breakfast. The apartment is lovely the host is most certainly in the wrong job.

Easy off street parking a very short walk from restaurants and shops in Windermere. Nothing to complain about. Even the weather was lovely.
• Helen (4/5): The Lake District is the most beautiful place and we had a lovely couple of days but the apartment being freezing cold o - The location of the property was good as it was only a minutes walk from a house other family members we’re staying in so we spent time there. It was also close to the lake and other attractions. When we arrived the heating had not been put on and bearing in mind it was November the apartment was very cold and took its time to warm up we had arrived around 2.30pm,for us only to realise when we returned later that evening it was cold again as it had been put on a timer. Also on arrival the landlady came in to show us around and then asked for us to complete the booking to which I said I thought we had paid in full when I booked online this was just a misunderstanding as I said as I looked for my confirmation just to check, unfortunately Irene took great offence to this and said I was accusing her of being a thief which I absolutely wasn’t and said I would never want her to feel like that I was literally just looking for my booking to which she replied that that was how I made her feel. I then felt totally uncomfortable obviously we went with Irene paid the other half of the money and I listened to lots of stories about her family when I really just wanted to get back to my own family. This for me completely tainted our stay and we therefore spent our time at our families holiday house and only slept at the apartment.
