• Stephan (9/5): Ideale Homebase für die Events auf dem Lost Airfield - nächstes Jahr wieder. - La Porte ist für uns die ideale Unterkunft für die Veranstaltungen auf dem Lost Airfield Mahlwinkel. Dieses Jahr waren wir wieder zur Dark Emergency dort und wir sind rundum zufrieden gewesen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, die Lage ideal und die gesamte Anlage ist hochwertig, liegt wunderschön mitten im Wald. Terrasse und Restaurant sind perfekt für die Tage dort und das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Betten sind - wie heutzutage in fast allen Unterkünften - viel zu hart. Klar, die Matratzen sollen möglichst lange halten, aber der Schlaf ist ein graus.

• Heiko (4/5): - Kostenloser Parkplatz Knapp 2 Stunden für das einchecken gebraucht wegen Unstimmigkeiten zu den gebuchten Zimmern und der Anzahl der Personen. Kein Netz wegen der Lage mitten im Wald. Somit auch kein direktes Gespräch mit Booking möglich. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption schien mit der Situation total überfordert.
• Ilona (9/5): Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. - Das Frühstück war gut. Ich hätte mir statt Brötchen lieber Brot gewünscht, aber einmal geht das schon. Und ein Stück Obst hat mir gefehlt. Sonst war alles super. Gerne wieder.

• René (10/5): Schöne gemütliche Unterkunft mitten in der Natur - Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit 2 Schlafzimmern . Genau wie wir es erwartet hatten. Sehr gut geschlafen, das Frühstück war bestens. Am Abend haben wir im Restaurant sehr gut gegessen.

• Jamie (8/5): - Die Lage war traumhaft. Mitten im Wald, aber direkt am Elberadweg. Das es dort auch ein Restaurant gab, war auf alle Fälle genial. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten Platz in einem Bungalow. Es wäre schön, wenn man im Bungalow einen Wasserkocher hätte. Oder man eben eine kleine Kaffee oder Tee Station dort hätte. Oder man hätte vor Ort noch was kaufen können. Wir befanden uns auf einer Radtour und hätten gerne Wasser oder was anderes Kleines gekauft. Aber, wir waren rundum glücklich dort.

• Gerd (10/5): - Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Zimmer war top, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Anlage liegt mitten im Wald, direkt am Elberadweg und ist super angelegt. Es war auch schön ruhig in der Nacht.
• Andrea (8/5): Ungemütlich - Das Häuschen war schön gelegen, direkt im Wald. Sehr ruhig und Idyllisch. Das Häuschen war sauber. Parkplätze stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung Es ist wirklich schade das kein Geschirr und kein Kühlschrank im Haus sind :( man möchte ja mal was kühles trinken und das lieber aus einem Glas als aus dem Zahnputzbecher.

• Simon (9/5): Superb - The chalet was very spacious, clean, and smelled of pine. On site restaurant with food and beer. Located in the middle of a wood, so peaceful, but right on the cycle track. Breakfast was nice. Excellent value for money. Sound proofing on chalet wasn't great, but they are detached so not a major problem, especially as the location is generally very quiet.

Kids playground was great and the staff were exemplary. Breakfast was very very good with no.problems catering for a gluten free guest. Maybe a non smoking outdoor section.

Hundreds of birds around the lake, and we spotted some deer in the forest Nice natural swimming pool with some frogs! No fridge in the room. Insect screen on the window in the sitting room, but not in the bedroom.

• Martina (10/5): Very pleasant place for families with kids and not only - Great staff, we had some issues booking the right apartment through booking.com, but they were fixed on the spot by the friendly staff! That made our stay very comfortable. The place is a little oasis for families with children, great playing ground, and nice big terrace where the parents can have their drink and watch their children play. Nice restaurant, friendly staff, tasty food, and cold 🍺! Cozy and clean apartment, good beds, big bathroom. We had a very pleasant stay!
• Paul (8/5): Very good - Overall, our experience at this accommodation was satisfactory. It proved to be a convenient choice for a one-night stay, with both cabins we booked being clean and well-maintained. The site appeared to cater well to children with its parks and facilities, although during our visit, it was notably quiet with only a few contractors around during breakfast. While the food served in the bar was decent, it seemed somewhat basic considering the price. Additionally, the early closure of the bar at 9 pm, likely due to the quietness of the site during our visit, was a bit disappointing. However, we assume this might be more common out of season.
