George brought our breakfast to our terrace every morning with a smile and great conversation. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view simply amazing in every direction. So peaceful and relaxing. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Would love to come back in the future.

He gave us some great recommendations on places to go, restaurants to eat at, and was just over the top helpful and friendly at any and every time we saw him. The room was perfect. It was exactly as the pictures described, beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was excellent. The view is indescribable- a must see, if you are in Santorini. I can’t recommend this place enough!! I will definitely be back.

It is a very short walk to the city center of Oia but away in a less crowded, quiet and serene area. It is right across a mini market! It also has a fairly large pool area with a bar- overlooking the ocean! Just stunning. The staff was very warm and helpful! I recommending this place to all my friends and family! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

- Lesley-Ann (10/5): - This was a great location if you want to stay in Oia. You have a beautiful view of the volcanos and beautiful balconies to enjoy your view. I loved it and wished I could stay longer. Ionnis at the front desk was an amazing planner and helped me organize my tours. I was a solo traveler and he helped me figure out what I could do to enjoy my stay in the limited time I had. Just tell him what you like. I have cleanliness 4 stars because I found a very long hair in the shower drain and the books in the room felt like they could be wiped cleaned (maybe they were just old).. I also had problems locking my room door and had to ask for help very last night but other than that— I loved my cave room and wish I could stay longer. I would definitely stay again at the hotel because it’s just a few meters walk from all the shops/people in Oia and there is a supermarket right across the street. You can put on a lovely outfit and take pictures on the Oia caldera while the sun sets. I didn’t eat the breakfast at the hotel because I don’t usually eat breakfast but it seemed very affordable especially for being in Oia. This hotel is definitely worth staying at, especially as a solo traveler. I felt safe, people were friendly, and I got great recommendations.
- a*y* (10/5): - A Wonderful Stay in Santorini We had a fantastic stay at Strogili Traditional House in Santorini! The location is ideal—the taxi can drop you right at the door from the airport. While it's a little further from the iconic Blue Domes, it's still just a short walk from the main area of Oia, which made it convenient for exploring the town. The rooms are adorable, with a charming cave-style design that perfectly blends traditional architecture with modern amenities. Our room had an amazing ocean view, and we loved how serene and relaxing it felt. Waking up to that view was such a treat! The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, which really added to the overall positive experience. They were always there when we needed assistance and made us feel at home. The only thing I'd advise other travelers to consider is that the hotel has quite a few stairs to navigate. To get to the rooms, you have to walk down more than 50 steps, and after breakfast (which is served near the reception area), you'll need to walk back up to use the bathroom in your room. This could be inconvenient for anyone with walking difficulties, so it’s something to keep in mind when booking. Other than that small caveat, we were extremely happy with our stay. Strogili is a great place to relax and enjoy your vacation time in beautiful Santorini!

- Oi Lin (6/5): - This hotel is very convenient. Mini market and bus stop ate just outside of the hotel. But the room itself is old and there are lots of ants. The bathroom is very small. The only thing that I like is the balcony is very big and have a nice view.

- Andzelika (10/5): - An absolute must stay place in Santorini!! The views were just breathtaking, with a perfect sight of the blue dome churches and white/ blue mountain esthetic. It was walkable (like 3 minutes walking from) to restaurants and shops as well as must see sights. The customer service was incredible. From the front desk to the gentleman helping us carry bags. It was quiet despite being so close to convenient locations and just absolutely perfect.

Super close to all of the shops and restaurants as well! Cannot recommended this place enough, we will definitely not stay anywhere else in Santorini in the future!

The staff helped and took the luggage from the car to our room which was very much needed. There was a mini mart at the corner and it was handy. The room was spacious, with a small kitchenette (fridge and sink); the beds were comfy, the wash room was spacious with ample supply of towels, and shower/bath accessories. Walkable distance to all good restaurants and shopping. Loved our stay and highly recommend it. Spectacular views.

It is very close to the famous Oia walk. The bus stop is across the property. The supermarket is right next to the property. It was a great experience staying in the cave houses. Sophia from the front desk was accommodating and communication with the property was excellent. Cons: we didn’t enjoy the breakfast. There were not many hot breakfast options. Also, the cleaning crew wasn’t cleaning the utensils in the sink properly. I saw food stains, or leftover food on the utensils every time after they cleaned them.

Very expensive stay but I wanted to have that authentic experience. Many restaurants and souvenir shops walking distance. Our view and private area was amazing! Highly recommend! Sophia was great and very helpful. For the high price free breakfast should be included and maybe slippers and use of Robes.

- Emily (10/5): - We arrived in Oia and had a transfer bring us to the hotel. It was such a great location if you are looking to be close to Oia. Right next to the hotel was a market and a rental car office. There is also an amazing restaurant, MIA so close. The reception staff is incredibly helpful and thorough. They started by going through the map of Santorini and asking us about our plans. Get the breakfast to be included in the room rate, it is so worth it. It’s beautiful to eat outside too. Their staff assisted us with our bags down the stairs and then back up when we were leaving. We ended up renting a car and they had free parking which was perfect. Their pool was also just a short walk and had a bar in that area as well. Only a short walk from all the shops in Oia. We preferred the shopping in Fira, but a great stroll down the Oia walkways anyway.

- Bethany (10/5): A Hidden Gem in Oia - OMG. Stay here. Just do it. I wasn't sure what to expect - because I've been duped by internet photos before. But this is the real deal - and I dare say it's even better in person. The staff was super friendly and our room was more spacious than I thought it would be. The views were absolutely stunning and the daily breakfast service on the patio was a dream! We didn't use the pool because it was too cold when we were there, but it looks really nice! There is a mini market just steps away that was super convenient during our stay and very well stocked. Plus, the property has parking - which in Oia is unheard of! Seriously, just stay here. If we ever make it back to Santorini we won't go anywhere else!
- hannah (10/5): - Had such lovely reception from the staff as well as a perfect view of the caldera. Room was nice and comfy, the balcony was a stand out with the view and the location was great. A shot walk into main town oia but just off the side of the main area so it was quiet at night.
- Haerang (6/5): - It was disappointing to see that this property didn’t inspect the hot water tank prior to our arrival. We had rusted coloured hot water due to tank water heater corrosion on our first night and we couldn’t take hot shower. Dealing with a staff next day explaining and complaining the situation wasn’t pleasant either. We literally wasted a half day waiting for them to change the water tank so that we can shower and get ready. The hot water supply was also limited and we had to always rush and finish within 5 minutes. Otherwise, we had to shower with cold water. It was definitely stressful to start our Santorini vacation this way!
- Milka (10/5): - The airline messed up our flight and shortened our trip by a day. We were too late to cancel or change our hotel reservation. When we got to the hotel, they upgraded us and we had a beautiful ocean view room with hot tub and breakfast served on our patio! They were very helpful with transfers to hotel and directions on getting around! The location was perfect!! I would very much recommend this place to anyone staying in Oia!! - Sierra (10/5): - A short walk from the main part of oia, but it was nice not be around the truckloads of tourists from the cruise ships. Property was really nice, great views, and access to a large pool a few steps up. Breakfast was included and as long you filled out your order form the day before, it’s brought to your room to eat with a gorgeous view of the caldera. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Would recommend!
- Santa (2/5): - Humidity in the room made it hard to breathe. Tried to keep the door open all day to air the room to reduce the smell but it didn’t help. There is some mold on the shower ceiling. The room is not cosy so wouldn’t stay there again. The view and location was good but many places in santorini have that.

- Rita (10/5): - I was a bit unsure about booking this property but it was a fabulous choice. Located a 5 minute walk to the start of the Oia shopping area it is very quiet and peaceful at night. I also didnt realise that it was 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms - a great choice for my family of 5. I think it would be very beneficial if they posted the floor plans. And while it may not be for everyone the swimming pool is right on the pathway for people walking along. I enjoyed the people watching and the magnificent view. Breakfast was also nice. Very simple but satisfying. It is set up on your terrace for you each morning and all dishes cleared away. One item that could be better was making sure there was enough cutlery in the room. There was a small kitchen, with portable hotplate so you can cook up a simple meal if needed. Having the minimarket the the top of the stairs was a huge plus for us. I highly recommended staying here if you want to be close to a good shopping area but want a peaceful and quiet stay.
- Julian (10/5): - Hotel was very good, however I would liked that the whole property be closed. The pool was excellent!! Unfortunately the bar wasn’t open the whole day. The receptionists are amazing helpful , Christie was wonderful and so it was Sophia. Thank eso much girls!!

- Yvonne (10/5): - We were thrilled when we arrived and were shown to our private patio with spectacular view. Hotel was easy walking distance to everything in Oia. Small market, hotel pool and entrance to the walking path to Fira just steps away. Sophia and Christina were wonderful and very helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants and boat trip were perfect. We would highly recommend and would love to return.
- Anis (8/5): Nice place but the annex accessibility is hard - Very helpful people at the reception, super nice! Large room and very nice view from the Terrace, But it’s too hard to reach the annex rooms, they have someone to help you with the luggage but at specific time will arrive like 8:30 or 9 pm, so in case you your luggage then you carry it for long and hard steps, 5 minutes walking to the city center
- Katie (10/5): - My family and I stayed here for three nights before moving on to Mykonos. The rooms are like caves and are well equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee etc. Location wise, it’s is truly stunning. The views are like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The pool area was almost always empty so we quite often had it to ourselves. It’s about a five minute walk to the pedestrianised shopping/eating area, which is also beautiful. I could not fault Oia. The only downside is it wouldn’t be suitable for people with walking difficulties. The hotel start were also extremely welcoming and friendly.
- Alice (10/5): - This property was excellent. If you want an inexpensive place, but want to stay in Oia, this is the place to stay. It’s at the end of all the shopping, so it’s quiet and safe. All of the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The front desk personnel were phenomenal and answered any questions we needed answered. The staff was extremely helpful. The views from our villa were beyond exceptional and the morning breakfast was wonderful.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was amazing upon entry, Valentine made us feel right at home after a long trip and provided excellent recommendations and insider tips. The views from this hotel are unbelievable (hello instagram). We stayed in a larger room for our girls weekend, that came with a private hot tub and breathtaking deck/patio where we watched the sunset every night (perfect view)! We woke up each morning to a freshly prepared breakfast that was served on our terrace patio overlooking the Aegean Sea. The last highlight was that this property is located just outside the main tourist hot spots, providing much needed separation, relaxation and quite with a chance to just breath after the crowded streets from sunset. Would highly recommend.

The daily breakfast was perfect, the room clean, spacious, modern and maintained daily. Maria and her team were wonderful and very welcoming and accomodating.
