Guest Reviews
- Seán (9/5): Superb - Fab location by the river, free secure parking, especially for a motorcycle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet location a short walk from the centre of town. Very late check-in at 5.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (8/5): Comfortable, good breakfast, and very friendly staff. - The room was quite basic, but comfortable and warm. Plenty of hot water in the en suite, so able to have a good shower. Very good breakfast. Think it would have been nicer in spring or summer, when we could have made use of the pool area, but nothing looks it best in the middle of a grey January day§
The laddies we met on arrival, and at breakfast, were very warm and friendly.
No coffee making facilities in the room, but we were able to get free coffee from the breakfast area during the evening.
We would stay there again. Just a very small thing. Maybe just a bit more main light in the bedroom. Did mention it to the reception., as could have been a light bulb had gone in ceiling dome light, , or needed a higher output one.
- Laurens (7/5): Good - Very friendly welcome by Sophie. And good breakfest very good hotel to stay one night for travelling.
Simple hotel 2 stars, but oke.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Valeria (10/5): Exceptional - The place is lovely, it is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Millau, at the old town. I really loved it, the owner was also very helpful and kind. If I go back to Millau I will definitely stay at this place again.
- Lorraine (7/5): Good - Receptionist was lovely, spoke English very well. Easy to find the hotel. Access to the river is 5 mins on foot. Slept ok but bed was low. Tatty, run down. Poor lighting in the room. Needs updating.
- Anil (6/5): Simple but clean - This was a dirt cheap overnight stay. I wasnt expecting too much but it was okay. Its basically a sports centre with some chalet style rooms at the rear & feels more like an industrial estate but it was clean and I was able to park my motorcycle immediately outside my front door. Considering how cheap this was in comparason, I have ne reason to point anything out as it all worked and was clean. If i was passing again and needed a quick easy place to slepp, this would be ideal. The previous night I stayed in a Logis and spent three times the amount.
- Mark (8/5): The positive experience was just what I needed at a time of difficulty. - I did not request the breakfast. The staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible. The room would have been better if it was a bit warmer.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was very clean and beautiful. Nothing
- Ernie (7/5): Decent value in a good location. - The hotel was easy to locate and an easy walk to the town across a pedestrian bridge. Room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good and overall the hotel is good value. Staff were very efficient and welcoming. There is a swimming pool but it and the area around it didn't look at all inviting.
- Mark (7/5): Road trip - There was a bed and shower Breakfast was poor, awkward to walk into town due to river and main road.
- Christopher (6/5): Pleasant -
- Casa (5/5): A little effort would have improved our stay. - The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Fairly good for walking into town. The breakfast was fairly basic. We were going to go in the pool but decided against it as the water was a little green and there were weeds coming up through the patio around the pool. The advert photo of the pool did not match the reality on site. Dogs mess was on the rough path round to the room at the rear of the main building.
- David (5/5): Passable -
- Jolanda (6/5): - Hotel is eigenlijk een gebouwtje achter een sportschool. Een soort motel. De kamer is zeer verouderd. Was verder wel schoon maar verwacht er niet teveel van. Behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt is matig. Voor een nacht op doorreis was het te doen.
- Antony (9/5): A 2 star hotel with a 4 star welcome and beautiful location - The room was spacious, airy and clean. Warm welcome and lovely dip in the outside pool on arrival too. About the hotel - nothing but there is no sign to direct you to the hotel, only to the cabins. GPS takes you down the road to the left, erroneously. A Hotel sign at the entrance to the big gravel car park would be very welcome.
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kelly (5/5): Hotel needs refurbishment but stay was comfortable. - Comfortable bed, shower ok, clean and tidy.
Parking good. Receptionist pleasant.
Good location Outside lighting to accommodation did not work.
Cover to drain was raised and loose…danger in the dark.
Couldnt sit on outside chair to accommodation as filthy and old. As was chairs outside all rooms.
Swimming pool area needed weeding. Pool green and dirty therefore unusable. All outside tables and chairs needed replacing.
In front of hotel were piles of old pallets and doors.
- Jane (10/5): Delightful staff make staying at this hotel a real joy. - The young lady who seemed to be running the place single handed yesterday was just lovely - so pleasant and helpful. She took time to talk to us, gave us several suggestions of places to eat (the hotel does not have a restaurant). The room was a good size with a huge, comfortable bed and it was very peaceful. It is about a 10 minute walk into the town, across a beautiful pedestrian bridge over the Tarn (very dark on the way back - I would recommend a torch). Breakfast was delicious, although a limited choice, everything on offer was fresh and much of it locally produced. A great overnight stay - we would certainly return and probably stay a couple of nights next time. If only all hotel staff were as delightful as this charming girl who speaks several languages including very good English. Parts of the hotel seem a little run down and in need of attention, particularly outside, but we were told there are plans to upgrade the rooms before next summer. Hopefully this will include a little bit of sprucing up around the outside of the buildings as well.
- Kate (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Big thank you - Our car had broken down and we didn't get to the hotel gone 11. 30 pm the left a note on the door and the keys inside we were very grateful for this and after a good breakfast in the morning they let us stay until we got a taxi to the train station to get a hire car even offered to take us if the taxi didn't arrive.
So thanks for a really nice nights stay. Na
- Marcus (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (9/5): Refreshing, relaxing stop after a long journey! - The host was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, and she made an ordinary stay very special. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The accommodation was spacious and was perfect for our needs. It was particularly helpful that the accommodation has its own access and on one level from the car park to our elderly father. n/a
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): clean, polite , ample breakfast and great location - very polite staff, nice continental breakfast ,really nice location and we will return next march on the way to spain .short walk to town ,excellent location and ample parking we were only there for 1 night but im sure if we had been there longer everything would have been catered for and my family and me look forward to our return.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Malcolm (6/5): Pretty basic hotel ok as a touring base. Very good restaurants in walking distance - Location for visiting Millau Hard to find , needs some signs
- Jos (9/5): Superb -
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Good value and comfortable - Location, staff helpful. Good sized rooms, and privacy. Nice views. Great to sit outside and watch the sun go down over the mountains. No kettle for coffee or tea.
- Barry (7/5): All the basics at a good price. - The hotel is well-positioned, clean and offers all the basic amenities at a very reasonable rate. The staff were most helpful in providing ideas for a visit to the old town as well as restaurants.
- David (5/5): Sorry, not for us - Easy, if long walk over the river into the market square.
Pool looked good although we did not get a chance to use.
Bed was comfortable. Shower worked fine. Which is
sually pretty much all we ask for in an overnight stay. Ridiculously difficult to find. Wrong directions and different locations on 5 mapping systems.
We arrived close, extremely close. But the lack of signage at the bottom of the track leading to the hotel meant we drove up and down for close to an hour, arriving tired and frustrated. The hotel needs at least to include decent directions on the welcome message.
To aggravate the above, the one member of staff on duty at 6 pm was busy taking an exercise class an did not answer the phone.
The rooms are small and dingy looking more like prison cells.
Next time we visit Millau we'll stay elsewhere.
- Teresa (9/5): Superb - Good location, short walk across unusual footbridge to town. Good view from very comfortable room. Tea and coffee in room would make it perfect!
- Craig (7/5): Good -
- Katrina (7/5): Good - Location excellent......it would need some TLC to tidy up appearance and make more welcoming A little rundown in my opinion
- Raylie (8/5): Very good - Very close to the town staf were lovely.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (5/5): Passable - we booked because of the location and on site parking the price was low and you get what you pay for, it was a 1 night stopover for us but wouldn’t rush back
- Pasha (10/5): Great value… would stay again. - Chalet and the breakfast was good value. Just one night stay to break up journey on way to South of France and perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. Walking distance into the lovely town of Millau.
- Yafeti (8/5): Good nice location hood staff - Bathroom needs a bath mat fir slippery floor
Bit noisy class at night Late night class too loud the music
The room was a bit cold
Idea. Have a small fridge and microwave in
That would he great
- Kenneth (8/5): Great little 2* hotel part of a health centre - Great little 2* hotel part of a health centre. We over slept (11.30) and staff were fine with us and still served breakfast. Little hard to find but we had driven from Dieppe and were tired.
- Oenz (7/5): Good location and friendly staff - We have stayed at this hotel a while ago. It's in a good location overlooking Millau. The guy in reception was very friendly and check-in was quick. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good value for money. Nothing.
- Kev (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Kennedy (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (9/5): Fantastic guy on reception, welcoming and informative. We chose the continental breakfast which was fabulous. - Great location with views of the bridge. What we got was exactly as described. A short walk took us into the town with great choices of bars and restaurants. it was a freezing cold day and the room initially was cold. By the time we came back from dinner it was much warmer, the extra blankets in the wardrobe meant we slept well due to being warm and cozy.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Pneave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Exu1 (4/5): Disappointing -
- Timothy (7/5): Good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Geoffrey (10/5): Great professionally managed 2* hotel. - Hotel Manager, Sophie, was very hospitable and helpful with local attractions. Zumba class was great fun. Hotel is professionally managed. Great location overlooking Millau town and the stunning Le Viaduc de Millau. What a great town!
- Haydn (9/5): Superb - Friendly receptionist
- Hannah (10/5): this was a short overnight stay for us heading the spain, but perfect for this! - the location the bar closed at 8:30pm
- Lee (9/5): Superb - Location No Fan in the room was very warm
- Michael (5/5): Not again - Welcomeing staff.i could park my motorcycle outside my room. Just across the road from a McDonald's. I went there for breakfast after the first morning . The hole place closed in the day time.and again at 20.00hrs. So nothing at all. You are 2 miles from the town so if you want a coffee enjoy the walk. If you like a sleep in on holiday not hear. Classes like zumba and aerobics all day across the way from your room. Breakfast is a joke one pastry and some dry bread and a pot of jam. And machine coffee.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Jean (9/5): Superb -
- Sheila (5/5): Passable -
- Ingrid (8/5): - Trevligt, bra och trevligt bemötande
- Elizabeth (3/5): Poor - Pool was clean. Desk clerk helpful. Dated, no kettle, shower soaked floor, area around hotel scruffy. Pillows flat, bedding old and faded.
- Bertrand (7/5): Good - well situated to avoid the viaduc and spacious bedding no so good … but largely enough for a small trip or an halt
- Simon (10/5): easy walk into city centre, great pool - great location, you can see the tallest suspension bridge in the world from the car park
- Karen (8/5): Great location for Millau - Friendly receptionist, spoke English, good sized room, clean, good shower.
Very close to city, within walking distance.
Looks like a great spot for watersport activities, if one is interested in canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc
Great view of Millau viaduct.
Surrounding countryside very pleasant. Very dated,a kettle at the very least would have been welcome.
- Andyblyth (9/5): Superb -
- Darren (4/5): Disappointed - Great location for seeing the Viaduct and walking distance into the town I’ve stopped here twice before many years ago but this time was disappointing. Not sure if Covid has anything to do with it but it has become very run down. The rooms are basic and don’t look appealing, The pool didn’t look inviting and the breakfast was just a croissant and three small pieces of bread.
- Nicholas (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great.
Staff were great.
Breakfast was good value. Room was basic but functional.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - made to fell very welcome , good location and not expensive , the owner spoke French, English and Spanish
- Susan (4/5): Look elsewhere for comfort. - Very pleasant receptionist. WiFi was ok, but a bit slow. It was quiet. It was a very warm night and the room was a hotbox with only a fan which broke down.
The bed was rock hard and the pillows super thin.
We had to wheel our suitcases over gravel to get to our cabin-type room.
One of the worst nights I have spent in a supposed hotel. Very uncomfortable.
- Alan (8/5): Hotel in Millau - Good parking. Easy to find. Friendly staff. Breakfast could have been a bit more substantial but I had chosen the cheaper one so cannot really complain.
- Didier (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): Very satisfied customers. - I liked staff because they extremely good, nice and lovely. The toilet seat was broken
Nothing else
- Christelle (10/5): Vacances - Très satisfait de la nuitée 👍
- Emma (6/5): Good place for a pit stop outskirts of Millau - Charming very helpful woman on reception who sorted out everything we needed. Room very clean and all working. The area outside our room could have been made nicer with more outside chairs and a table.
- Colin (7/5): Good -
- Saad12 (7/5): Nice - The chalet we took was in a nice quiet place. The rooms were good. The only problem was the heat. It was very hot at night, and it was a bit difficult to sleep without air-conditioning.
- Brenda (8/5): Very good -
- Sigrun (5/5): Passable -

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stunning location, great value for money. Yes the chalet needs a little TLC but it was clean and perfect for a stopover. Nice little pool too.
- Linda (2/5): A night in Millau - It was more like a camp site. Very dated and although quite clean and friendly staff it is in serious need of an uplift. Didn’t appreciate no curtains at the window. There was a thin net blind which didn’t cover the window and kept falling off as only attached with Velcro
