• Pauline (10/5): Lovely cottage located in wonderful grounds overlooking a private lake ideal for rest and relaxation - Lovely cottage in an excellent location for exploring both the Lizard and Lands End peninsulas and several National Trust properties. The hosts had left some very thoughtful items for breakfast based on my communicated dietary needs. The grounds surrounding the cottage were very peaceful and restful and we enjoyed using the summer house overlooking the lake. Very friendly hosts who were more than happy to recommend places to visit. That we had only booked for 5 nights!! Wished we could have stayed longer.

• Amanda (10/5): - Lovely little cottage in perfect position next to a beautiful lake yet still so close to the beautiful Praa sands beach. Lovely big summerhouse right by the lake to use. Only a few miles drive into Porthleven for great restaurants or Helston for a supermarket shop.

Beginnend mit dem unkomplizierten und angenehmen Check Inn und der Einweisung in dieses herrliche "neue Zuhause", über die tollen Empfehlungen und Anregungen zur Freizeitgestaltung oder auch dem sehr leckeren AppelPie als Gastgeschenkle. Alles sehr sauber, organisiert und ordentlich und die Gatsgeber sind jederzeit offen für Fragen oder Anregungen.

VERY SPACIOUS,COSY COTTAGE HAD BEEN MODERNIZED FULLY AND TASTEFULLY, WHILST RETAINING ITS RUSTIC CHARM. LARGE, MODERN KITCHEN, A COOK'S DREAM, WITH ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED AND STOCKED WITH BASIC STORE-CUPBOARD ITEMS AND COMPLIMENTARY LOCAL PRODUCE. SUPERB SHOWER ROOM WITH 2 SEPARATE TOILETS, ONE EN-SUITE. LARGE, USEFUL UTILITY AREA WITH DRYING FACILITIES. GENEROUS, THOUGHTFUL, DISCREET OWNERS, LIVING NEXT DOOR, YET NEVER INTRUSIVE. • Verified traveler (10/5): Haven within a decent walk of Porthleven - Genuinely great welcoming hosts; the perfect mix of being there but not overly fussing. Beautifully kept gardens and a real feeling of safe homeliness. We cooked every evening and found the equipment provided did the job well. Mattress was perfect for us but you may want to consider earplugs if you’d like to sleep longer than the cacophony of dawn chorus loving birds would like. Shower and central heating excellent. For us the serenity of the lake view was the icing on a pretty good cake.

Everything you needed was there including a lovely welcome gift of quality eggs, bread, milk, butter, biscuits and jams. There were also extras for use such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tea, coffee, salt and pepper and sugar. Also all the usual cleaning materials and toilet rolls was unlimited. The list is endless. The hosts are lovely and have really spared no expense on the quality of everything. Towels, linen and robes were really white and of such good quality as was the bed. Such a beautiful place in a lovely setting and so immaculate. The garden room overlooking the lake is really pretty. We have no complaints whatsoever. We will be book again.
