- Heloisa (7/5): - o apartamento é grande, o prédio é novo, a cozinha é bem equipada. O lugar é bem silencioso. Os funcionários foram extremamente atenciosos quando eu pedi apoio com a baixa umidade e luminosidade do quarto. Mesmo não tendo muito o que fazer, eles foram muito prestativos em avaliar o quarto e explicar o que eles poderiam ou nao fazer. O apartamento não tem blackouts. As cortinas são super finas e deixam passar toda a luz. O quarto fica extremamente claro, inclusive à noite, por conta das luzes da cidade. As janelas não abrem. O apartamento é completamente dependente da ventilação central, o que deixa o espaço extremamente seco. A limpeza também deixa a desejar: lixo do banheiro estava sujo, a parede do quarto tinha respingos de alguma bebida/comida, a torradeira na cozinha estava extremamente engordurada e quebrada. Vale ressaltar também que o lugar é mais um aluguel de apartamento de temporada do que um hotel.

- YASUYO (10/5): - The location is extremely convenient, with a high-quality supermarket nearby. I stayed on the 17th floor, so the view was excellent. I also appreciated that the amenities were fragrance-free. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I cooked for myself every day. There was a garbage chute, which made it easy to dispose of trash at any time. I was also able to watch YouTube on the smart TV. It would have been a perfect room if there had been a bathtub. I stayed for 15 nights. When I asked via message about housekeeping, I was told it would be once a week, on Thursdays for my room. However, they actually came on Wednesday morning, which surprised me. The staff then said it would be every five days, so I prepared and waited accordingly, but they did not come again the following days. In the end, housekeeping was provided only once during my stay.

I called the after hours line and they said they would try to inform management but nothing was done so I had to wait until Monday mid-morning when they finally got around to resetting the modem (meanwhile blaming Rogers). Provided cookery needs improvement - non stick would be nice. There was a disgusting smell emanating from the bathroom at times.

- Jeff Slater (8/5): Good location for touring or working in Centretown - Location in Centretown 2 grocery stores within a couple of blocks bed was comfy with good pillows room was very cleaned and was cleaned once during the 9 days we were there room is smaller than expected - the one bedroom is actually a bachelor style apartment with a sliding door to create a bedroom but it is not separate really never met any staff but access was exactly as described and we had no problems seating in the living room was not very comfortable

Definitely didn’t sign up to clean the bathroom walls upon arrival but other than that the place is awesome.

- Heather (10/5): - We recently stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite at Soho Lisgar and were very pleased with our experience. The self check-in process was simple and convenient, and the property was clean and well maintained. The suite itself was a good size and came with everything we needed — a full kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, and a large fridge with a freezer on the bottom. It even had a washer and dryer, which was a great bonus for a longer stay. The beds were very comfortable, and overall the suite was quiet, though we did hear the occasional siren at night — to be expected when staying downtown. We enjoyed being able to cook breakfast and dinner right in the suite. Having a Farm Boy grocery store just a few blocks away made picking up groceries very convenient. One of the main reasons we chose Soho Lisgar was because it offered a parking garage. Street parking downtown is expensive, and the nearby lot is usually packed during the day. On one day, the parkade garage door was being replaced, so we were given the option to leave our car inside or park elsewhere, and management covered the outside parking cost — a nice touch. If we had to mention any minor improvements, it would be to add a few more kitchen items, like a spatula, serving spoons, oven mitts, a muffin tin, and a frying pan (there were pots but no frying pan). Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book again the next time we’re in Ottawa!

- Ted (4/5): - This hotel charges an unadvertised daily fee on top of the amount quoted on Expedia so you don't know what you will be paying. This is dishonest behaviour. Expedia spoke to the hotel manager (Kathy) who agreed to reimburse this charge. They never did make the reimbursement. Additionally the internet connection was so slow so as to be unusable. Cannot recommend.

- Laura (10/5): Great base to see the sights of Ottawa - It was an excellent apartment... exactly as advertised. I easily walked almost everywhere I went. Full grocery store 2 blocks away. Secure underground parking if you need it (reasonable cost). Apartment was quiet and comfortable, spotlessly clean, with kitchen & laundry. On-site pool and gym. Only because of personal preference... I found the beds and pillows a bit soft for my taste and the whole space, including the bedroom, stayed quite light at night.

Nice size living area. Elevator building and no easy access to the outside; no deck or opening windows, but sheet glass windows so can see everything. Bathroom shelf, just below mirror above sink, was detaching from the wall so couldn't use. A musky fragrance permeated the elevator, lobby and garage which was very difficult for me because I'm allergic to many fragrances.

We immediately cleaned them ourselves. We also found long and short black hairs on the bathroom floor when we arrived.

- Christine (10/5): - Our stay (our first) was fantastic! Check in to retrieve building and parking fobs and room keys was clearly communicated and very smooth and easy. Parking was a breeze underground. Our room was stunning with a balcony, kitchen with amenities and supplies and bedroom with bath. The building is quiet and solid. Clear instructions are great Ben with key pickup on how to get assistance if needed. Washer and dryer was a real plus! Lots of closet and drawer and shelf space. Can’t wait to go back!

Location was close to everything, with reasonably-priced parking on-site. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was no staff during the weekend, meaning you had to plan ahead or go without (for example: extra towel or the luggage cart) until Monday. The bathroom needs more hooks.

L’endroit est calme, avec une vue dégagée sur la ville (pas exceptionnelle mais agréable). Mauvaise aération, odeur désagréable. Absence de personnel sur place : l’ambiance est froide, on ne se sent pas accueilli. La piscine est occupée par des groupes de jeunes qui fument, boivent, mangent et mettent la musique très fort, sans aucune surveillance, alors que c’est interdit. J’ai signalé le problème, mais le propriétaire n’a pas réagi. Meubles mal disposés et encombrants : difficile de circuler dans la chambre. Exemple : la table près du divan gêne le passage côté salon. - Thomas (8/5): - Great location and very nice to have a kitchenette. No reception or visible onsite staff but that worked well for us, just something to be aware of. Great view of the city from our room. Furniture was mostly comfortable but nothing extraordinary. I would stay here again for the price we were able to get for it.
- Ayo mikun (9/5): Officially my go to place whenever i'm in Ottawa - Everything ! Nothing serious but i'm used to hotels providing shower gel, instead of brick soap but you can just go buy shower gel from a supermarket nearby.

- Christine (7/5): Mostly comfortable, attractive, well run property, with staff dedicated to making you comfortable. - The location was great for the things I planned on my visit, and the availability of parking for a friend. The building and the apartment were spotlessly clean, and the amenities, kitchen, bathroom bedroom closet pretty good. The living room sofa was comfortable, and the floor to ceiling windows made the place bright and airy. Unlike some hotel and apartment suites, there was a nice big coffee table in front of the sofa. The lack of blackout curtains in the bedroom made sleeping difficult, and I finally had to improvise with something of my own. Bathroom lighting, particularly above the sink and vanity was very dim. The images of the suite I booked showed a small dining table with regular height chairs. Instead the suite ended up having just a breakfast counter with stools that were uncomfortably too tall for the counter. (They were bar stools, instead of counter stools.)

- Brendan (8/5): - Loved having a clothes washing machine and dryer. Enjoyed being able to walk to the downtown area and numerous places of interest. For international guests it'd be terrific if there were instructions on how to use the cable TV (and/or the ability to cast from our phones or use streaming services we're already subscribed to). Clearer instructions on what to do with keys at checkout would be appreciated.
- Mark (10/5): - I'll definitely be back when I'm in Ottawa. Good size for a one bedroom. Location made it easy to walk and see all the sites. Slept very comfortably. Beautiful view of the city from the bedroom to the living/dining room. Helpful staff, very pleasant.!

- Philipp (8/5): Very good - The apartment was comfy, spacious, and well-equipped. The pool and gym were a great addition to the stay! It was a bit of a problem, that we only got our access codes about 5 hours before our arrival, since we didn't have wi-fi anymore at that time. Nothing a short hop to Tim Hortons and its gratuitous wi-fi couldn't fix, but still, we like to have our access info at least 1 day before arrival.

- Paul (10/5): Great, but very,very hot, but the AC was up to it. - Fantastic flat, super modern, clean, tv's in lounge and bedroom, all mod cons, including washing machine and dryer and everything else you could want, super, location, less than 10 mins walk to Parliament. Swimming pool, quite small, what a complaint, nothing everthing was great.

- Donna (10/5): - the suite we stayed in was exactly as shown on Expedia. Big suite with in-suite laundry, fully stocked kitchen, king bed with pocket doors for privacy plus an office! We were able to walk to all the sites, locations and many dining options including a cruise on the canal. We want to return next Canada Day and got a wonderful rate via Expedia.
