• JORGE JAIME (10/5): Muy recomendable bonito departamento buena ubicaci - Excelente ubicación, muy cómodo y agradable con varios supermercados pequeños para compra de alimentos y bebidas Solo una observación el único cuchillo que existe no tiene filo y los 2 sartenes con los que cuenta el departamento no sirven para la estufa eléctrica de inducción (no se activan las parrillas con estos sartenes) entonces no puede uno calentar nada o hacerse un par de huevos ( deberían de suministrar los trastes y utensilios adecuados) por lo demás todo muy bien
• Monica (8/5): - The only down side is the bathroom. They need to tear down and make a new one. The location was perfect and the views stunning. I call and request to clean the shower and change the liner because was very dirty.
• Efrain (10/5): - Check in experience was subpar but the apartment was excellent. The only issue is it can be noisy as the street is very busy.
• Stephanie (6/5): - The apartment is nice. We were a group of six and the apartment could accommodate 8 people. However the table only accommodated four people. My daughter and sister got stuck in the elevator /lift for 45 minutes upon arrival due to a malfunction. They got overheated due to no air circulation in the elevator. The elevator technician took 40 minutes to arrive. I was very upset. They promised compensation for inconvenience but that never happened. The apartment manager was very cold to us after this incident which was not our fault. Even though you sign a form of no partying, several groups of young men blasted music during the hours permitted and literally danced on the balcony as if at a bar. We were on a family vacation and thought this would not be the case here. Couldn't enjoy balcony unless you wanted to watch young men bump and grind dancing 😩 The area the apartment is in offers everything one could need from great shopping, tourism office, metro, bus, taxi stands, quick shopping for groceries and convince to all points of interest. I usually use a company called Numa Versa apartments. Which we have loved but couldn'tbook this trip due to not be available. This apartment air-conditioning did NOT keep bedrooms at comfortable temperature. It does have all things needed in the kitchen and a very adequate fridge with nice freezer. Shower has good water pressure. Rooms are nicely sized. Very good space accommodation.
• Jose (10/5): - Una propiedad muy comoda. La comunicacion con la propiedad fue excelente. Me dieron un numero de telefono que podia llamar para cualquier cosa que necesitara. Llegue por la noche y me enviaron todas las instrucciones para el check in. No tuve problemas. Al dia siguiente fueron al apartamento y nos explicaron como funcionaba todo. La persona muy amable. Pedi un check out un poco mas tarde y me lo dieron. Tambien puedes guardar el equipaje en el hotel que tienen al lado. Justo al lado tienes un supermercado y varios bares y restaurantes. Queda a menos de 5 min caminando de Plaza Catalunya. Muy cerca de todas las atracciones principales de Barcelona y de todas las tiendas. El taxi lo coges frente al apartamento ya que constantemente estan pasando. Definitivamente me volveria a quedar de nuevo. 100% recomendado.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The apartment suffers with leaks when it rains. The blind fell down in the middle of the night and the drops coming through caused a sleepless night for some. They are obviously aware as they said it had happened before, but no apology offered, which I found bizarre. En suite bedroom has had issue with a leak also as the floor is bowed and soft. Lovely apartment and comfortable but wouldn’t stay again or recommend, due to the blaze attitude of the owners and the noise from the street (old windows) which was loud.

• Victoria (4/5): - I liked the location of the property, downtown area. The suite was comfortable enough, big windows and nice layout and view. But the sewage smell that emanated from the bathroom drain made it almost impossible to live inside. We opened the windows, but the smell was too strong. There was no help with towels, changing bed sheets. Overall I will not recommend it to anyone, mostly because of the sewage smell.

The property was great for our family of four but we would have been equally as comfortable if there were six of us. The communication was excellent via email and text to get access to the apartment. We would highly recommend the apartment.

• Neil (4/5): Poor value, no cooker and little hot water - Overall, the location is excellent however the apartment does not live up to the untruthful listing or expectations for the price. There is a kitchen "area" but of the 3 pans provided, all of which were frying pans, none worked on the induction hob. Bring your own pans? There is no oven, just a microwave. So basically, it's a microwave and a fridge. Oh, and the racks in the fridge door are missing so forget being able to store open juice, wine, milk etc. There was enough hot water each morning for 1.5 short showers. For an apartment that sleeps 5 that cost over 1300 Euros, this is unacceptable. The finish in the bathroom showers is pretty poor also as the sealant looks like it was applied by a blind cobbler and is impossible to keep clean.

• Khalid (8/5): - Location is excellent. The place we got was too spacious, it could easily fit2 small families. For people looking at this option, remember, its an apartment not a hotel! Theres no 24 h concierge! The person who welcomed us was available by phone, he requested a a taxi to the airport for us, but again, you are given the keys and you're in and out on your own, which was fine with us. It would have been nice if there were few coffee pods (Nespresso machine was there) with some tea bags and sugar sachets. Recommend it.

• Christopher (10/5): Great Barcelona Apartment - My family of 6 arrived and immediately had contact with Albert from Serennia. He gave us perfect instructions and met us at the door. Checked us in, gave us a tour, recommendations, and advice. The room was perfect for all of us, plenty of room, great air conditioner, close to absolutely everything we could imagine.
• Victoria (10/5): - Right in the centre of the city, this place is spacious and within walking distance of most attractions. Loads of shops and bars nearby and readily available taxis and public transport if you’re less keen on walking. Albert and his team are super accommodating and really welcoming -nothing is too much trouble. Perfect for a larger group of friends or family (like we were!).

The apartment has excellent location with two delicious coffee shops for fast breakfast. The apartment was super clean and supper comfortable. Perfection!

We were in a 3-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor, the main bedroom was on the Main Street side, very noisy all night, the windows do not keep the noise out which is a shame. The apartment sleeps 7, we were 6, plenty of room, however, the kitchen is not very well equipped, we only wanted to cook breakfast and have pre-dinner drinks in the place but there was no frying pan, only 3 champagne glasses and no wine glasses, no tea towel. Loads of plates though??

Lots of recommendations of things to do. The location is perfect for accessing all areas of Barcelona. The apartments were both clean and spacious, with the facilities that you would need. If I return to Barcelona again, it is a no-brainer to book to stay at Serennia Apartments.
• Alfonso (2/5): AWFUL EXPERIENCE - Awful Experience. The air conditioning was broken when we arrived. There are three bedrooms but only one has air conditioning. No hot water in the shower. The staff was rude when we reported the a/c problem. They told us they were to busy to help and it wasn’t their problem. We were told they would change our towels and once we asked for the towels they said we were responsible for washing them. We bought detergent and washed the towels and the dryer did not work, we had wet towels. Cold showers and wet towels. Two nights with a broken a/c and they finally sent a technician, to no avail. A/C still did not work properly. Uncomfortably hot in the apartment. It was an awful experience. We chose this place for the a/c since my husband and sister are diabetic. It was simply horrible. The condition of the apartment and the staffs lack of hospitality were inexcusable. The have a concierge for the building which I explained my distress and she offered to help by taking the wet towels to the terrace to dry. Would never recommend this property. Ruined my vacation in Barcelona. A lot of my time was spent trying to contact the management office and getting the problems corrected.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad, not good - Overall the Serennia Apartments was not a “bad” stay, but there are some areas that need definite improvement Pros : This property has an excellent location, minutes from most everything that we wanted to do. It seemed like a safe area, there were restaurants, stores, shopping, etc located minutes away. The location is the best thing this property has going for it. The Staff is great. Albert went out of his way to assist us, we asked for coffee pods, he had them at our door a bit later. He even booked our taxi for us going to the airport the morning of our departure. The Room/Space - the apartment had a great view and plenty of space for our family of four. It had a little terrace where we could sit and have coffee or wine, a sitting area with a view overlooking the city street, and a living room. We did not feel cramped at all. The Cons: Cleanliness - The apartment was “just cleaned” and finished as we were arriving and checking in, but on getting into the apartment at the 4:00pm allowed checkin time the dishwasher was still running, there was an old towel on the top shelf and a dirty, used tissue as well. It was a little gross. The Bathroom - The bathroom was also dirty. Beside the toilet were obvious pee stains on the wall where the cleaners had missed or forgot to clean. The shower was also one of the worst we have ever stayed in. The water backed up and caused you to stand in an inch or two of water. There was mold and rot along the floor.

The location was also very good for the airport and sightseeing. Would definitely recommend this apartment for a family who needs 2 bedrooms.
